We totally enjoyed our stay at Plataren Heritage resort - the location was stellar and close to splendid UNESCO heritage Borobodur !! It has a lovely local vibe with beautiful marble floors and decorative local tiles. The decor was atmospheric vintage colonial. We stayed in a beautiful suite with comfortable and spacious living room and all the amenities we needed, including fresh fruit. We had a convenient water dispenser unit in the living room and gourmet coffee machine. Staff at front desk spoke good English and were very helpful and efficient. Restaurant staff were friendly, more local and communication was difficult at times. Breakfast while varied had pre- prepared hot items that had become cold and you had to request it to be prepared fresh. It was a very relaxing stay with excellent service! …

I started breakfast at 8 am after sightseeing Punthuk Setumbu for Borobudur sunrise view. Breakfast menu was so delicious with combination of local and western food. The restaurant embience was so classy and the restaurant attendants were very kind to the hotel guests.

This hotel is a gem. From the welcome drink to the goodbye everything was perfect. Rooms are spacious and made to make you feel like home. The breakfast is simply amazing, so much choice and variety. The roof top bar allows for a relaxing evening.

This beautiful hotel is surrounded by the lush, tropical countryside. The rooms are spacious and beautifully presented. On arriving at the hotel we were greeted by the friendly staff with a cool, welcoming drink. There is a lovely pool to unwind in at the end of a busy day exploring the Javanese countryside and magnificent temples. Two restaurants provide a varied and delicious menu. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which catered for the needs of so many different nationalities.

We stayed at Plataran Heritage Borobudur for 2nights with my big family. It was a memorable stay,all the staffs are very friendly.They were very helpful. The hotel near to Borobudur Temple. The room hotel is spacious and clean. They even have a carnaval and mini zoo for the kids to explore and also other activities. The breakfast also has varied menu and very nice. The hotel even planted a tree on our behalf at Plataran Menjangan (the west bali national park). Overall we had a lovely stay at Plataran Heritage and definitely will recommend to our relatives and friends👍

Good overall experience for the facility and staffs. The quality of the restaurant food is good but the variety can be improved. The Room TV can be upgraded to provide youtube and netflix. The swimming pool is sligthly small, but still ok as not too many users anyway.

We were guests of the hotel for 2 nights and were delighted with our stay. It, together with a hotel in Ubud, was our favorite hotel of the many we stayed in during our recent visit to Singapore and Indonesia. We toured during the day, so we did not spend a great deal of time enjoying the hotel facilities, but we had a positive experience with those that we did. Service over all was impeccable. The front desk was charming. Housekeeping was excellent. The room, in addition to being very beautiful and very different from a decorating and design standpoint from many hotels, was spotlessly clean. We were greeted with a generous fruit basket. Each night we received turn down service and a box of sweets. We dined on the patio for two nights. Again, service was wonderful and the food very good. Our included breakfast at another restaurant in the hotel was also good. We particularly enjoyed the hotel bar after a long day of touring. The view was great, and we felt a cool breeze that was welcome after the heat of the day. Staff remembered our drink choices from our first visit and went out of their way to please. A hotel with a lush and rural-living concept, as it located in a village surrounded by local paddy rice and beaufitul scenery. But, we were just checking out from Padma in Semarang specifically choosing Plataran Heritage to enjoy our next journey and apparently a little bit disappointed by the room interior. With almost similar rate compare to Padma and even Tentrem, for me it looked like we overpaid for this Plataran. I know that they have different concept, but we have our taste and opinions based on our travel-experience. And that opinions may differ depends on such experience. Plus, we have a disturbance of someone banging at our door at 12am. Though the person did apologize 14 hours later, but it happen after we filed the report twice (1st right after the incident and 2nd during the morning before breakfast around 8am). It is us that was asking for them to find the culprit and asking him to apologize, not the hotel staff suggest the idea. Even they did not ask the manager to meet us. This is not a good gesture by a so-called five-star hotel! Thankfully, that was the only unpleasant experience here. Breakfast were okay, though nothing special. But their service during our breakfast was superb! The attendants were doing their job excellently! Asking, offering, cleaning etc. at the level that even Padma and Tentrem unable to match. They also offered a family activities like visiting small zoo, Night Carnival (we called it Pasar Malam), VW Safari tour, etc. Overall, hopefully we will see you again but we have no idea when. Maybe next time we shall have better experience while staying here. I should have put three stars only. But my wife suggest to submit 4 due to location and activites invluding nearest to Enam Langit.…

It was a great holiday, and we feel amazed with the hotel , the facilities, and great services from the hotel staff. When we arrived at the hotel, we fell in love with the view, and the hotel design was something different 😍. If you are bringing kids, this place was perfect. There's a mini zoo, mini carnival , can play badminton, basketball, and kids activities. Every day, there are afternoon tea sessions at rooftop, and if also the hotel provide many adventures activities services . You can rent VW car, horses riding, delman , ATV experience, and kids just loved to explore all these new things. Not to mention, the locations near borobudur only took 10 minutes from the hotel.
