We have a good stay @ plataran heritage thank you! We took a jamu class it was fun experience for me and my mom. Staff also very kind :) i will stay here again when I'm at jogjakarta. Hotel is near borobudur temple
We spent 4 days 3 nights there and really enjoyed the excellent service from hotel. Hotel location is near borobudur and infact we can see top of borobudur at villa lobby and managed to spot beautiful sunrise from villa loby. Hotel smells nice, food are exellent, afternoon tea is available too. Hotel room is clean, bed is comfortable. Recommended and sure we want to come back. Thank you.
The staff are helpful, I wanted to take picture of Borobudur and they arranging the spot for me. Cleanliness also very nice, the room feel fresh with local fragrance. Surprisingly, they also called me by my name. This is adding to the above, I felt they take a good care of me during the stay.
What a beautiful hotel in a stunning building. We spent 3 days here as a base for exploring the area, just perfect. The hotel and rooms are cool, fragranced (I don’t know what with but the scent was beautiful) and spotlessly clean. Lovely swimming pool. Great buffet breakfast and free afternoon tea (which we hadn’t realised we got included in the rate - what a bonus). Stunning roof top bar from which to watch the sunset with cocktails. My daughter and I had a massage at the spa, it was wonderful. But what made our stay so special were the staff - super attentive and thoughtful, always on hand. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Beautiful place to stay with family My room views is the beautiful Bukit Menoreh, we enjoy tea in the morning at the Terrace. Chasing the sun surrounding with paddies Very Memorable and Fun activity Good service with the smile and very helpful staff. Good food, all in halal ingredients both of Stupa Restaurant and Menoreh Restaurant. Thank you Plataran Heritage for the hospitality
Any hotel might do well with luxury amenities only (which unfortunately set the tone on how people travel), Plataran Borobudur goes above and beyond ,and the epitome of it is hospitality. We were grateful and in awe by the kindness and hospitality of mas Agus and staff during our stay. Everything was curated and presented nicely for us. Our breakfast picnic at Enam Langit was most valuable experience for us. Thank you for everything ! Would love to be back again.
Enjoy traveling through the time machine where you'll be put right in the middle of Java during the colonial era. From the exterior and interior design, to the surroundings of paddy fields and lush green hills. The breakfast menu are all traditional and taste great and authentic. We've got a surprise by being upgraded to the Founder's Suite, which is recommended. If you happen to stay in that room, is has a perk of being the closest to access the hotel rooftop bar, "Langit Menoreh" where you can witness breathtaking sunset scenery; as well as your very own butler to attend to your every need. Thank you Mas Agus for your hospitality.
Came here as a family and everyone had a lovely time. The food and service were superb! The atmosphere is relaxing and the view of rice fields is so serene and lush. We will definitely return again soon.
I arrived at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel at 16.45. The location is still about 3 km from the entrance of Borobudur. Arriving at the hotel, it turned out that I was immediately informed that the afternoon tea hours were only until 17.00. Arriving at the Lobby, I was immediately directed by the greeter to drink a welcome drink (ice ginger) first, then I was informed that the items will be brought directly to the room while I can enjoy afternoon tea first. For afternoon tea, there are coffee/tea, wedang asle, traditional snacks (fried cassava cheese, sponge cake, pukis, sticky rice cake). Very good taste. After afternoon tea, we went straight to our room to rest. Each room is only given one key. The room is quite spacious with a 200x200 bed, armchair, desk and work chair. My babymoon set was approved with a swan art towel and very intentional flower writing and decoration also provided a full happy babymoon cake with orange, strawberry, grape and frosted chocolate toppings. Not only that, on the work table there is also a fruit platter containing oranges, salak and bananas. The interior is a combination of colonial modern with a very luxurious impression. The interior workmanship is very detailed, I almost didn't find any flaws in the interior of this room except in the closet near the cupboard and there was only a slight leak in the wall. Superb cleanliness was maintained, I checked all the grooves in the room even in public places and there was not the slightest dust either in the grooves or in the decorative parts which are usually rarely cleaned. Rooms are equipped with balconies, the air was very fresh. I got a view of the sky menoreh (rooftop bar), swimming pool and hills. Very soothing. In the room provided 2 glass bottles of mineral water which can be refilled for free. Tea uses dilmah and coffee uses private brands. There is a paid minibar. The bathroom does not have a bathtub but is equipped with a head shower and a hand shower. Standard amenities of soap, shampoo and toothbrush. Shampoo and soap smell very good. For other amenities, we can request via telephone. 2 body towels and 2 hand towels are provided. The lobby smells good and has lots of beautiful and detailed ornate artwork. The swimming pool is quite large and close to the restaurant. The gym is small and has minimal equipment. Here there are also various paid activities such as horse riding, ATV and many others. For the free one there is a morning walk, you must make a reservation in advance. There is a kidsclub which is one area with a minizoo. Here there are chickens and rabbits that are deliberately released to accompany the children to play. The animals are peacock, rabbit, duck, goose, chicken, turtle and fish. Kidsclub provides drawing activities and games. For dinner, I recommend trying it at the incised sky because the view is very good and at night the lighting really spoils the eyes Breakfast starts from 06.00 am to 10.00 am. The choice of food is quite varied and 95% of the taste of the food is very good, even including the 2nd best breakfast during my stay at the hotel. Menu options include: 1. Main Course (Soto fried rice, vegetable fried kwetiau, capjay, chicken with butter sauce, sweet and sour squid, fucilli aglio e olio, cauliflower mornay, beef stroganoff, chicken sausage and hashbrown) 2. Traditional corner (stew, crackers, jenang, kupat tofu, snack market) 3. Bakery Pastry (donut, croissant, pastry, pudding, slice cake, muffin, cake roll, pie) 4. Fresh section (fresh juice (watermelon, melon, orange), infused water, cereal, salad, sushi, cheese, nuts, fruit (watermelon, papaya, melon, dragon fruit, banana, salak, orange) 5. Outdoor area (quesadilla, waffle and pancake, soto, porridge, dimsum, fried food) What I highly recommend is the fried chicken, butter fried chicken, dim sum and sweet and sour squid, and especially the fruits. The fruits are very fresh especially the oranges, watermelon and dragon fruit. The watermelon is not mushy, but the water breaks a lot. The oranges are sweet and delicious. There is also ice cream with 6 flavors but it costs Rp. 50.000,-.…
The outstanding hospitality was started even from the hotel Gate. All staff members were like a warm family when they give the services. Modern and classic interior that made us just like a Sultan. My kids enjoyed the pool and the facilites. All the foods and beverages were made perfectly and delicious.
