The Khampa Cafe is probably the coolest cafe I have ever been to. An awesome view of the temple next door and a beautiful colourful interior when it gets a little chilly outside. My friends and I devoured some yak burgers and local beers made...More

Thanks for this! But we are in no way related to the Khampa Cafe. I understand the confusion but please rewrite your review under their listing, if you would. Trip Advisor does not allow us to remove reviews, even when they are misplaced.

About
Description
Run by Angela and Djarga, now 11 kms from Tagong town, Khampa Nomad Ecolodge is a comfortable, eco-friendly, off-grid self-sufficient bed-and-breakfast, in the wide open pasturelands, with mountain views and ...More amazing hiking, yet with easy 1-hour access to Kangding airport. We host top-rated horse and hiking treks, nomad tent stays, and artisan workshops; open year-round. The lodge is built with love in traditional style with modern amenities. Our focus is on local nomad food products, modeling rurally-appropriate eco-friendly technologies, and most of all, allowing for authentic experience and real connection to nomads, with experience in the region since 2004 (including founding and running the Khampa Cafe in Tagong from 2010-2014, though we are no longer connected to the cafe).
