Acacia Farms Lodge was a fantastic place to stay while we were on Safari in the Arusha area. It is in a secluded area outside of Arusha access is restricted to 4x4/off road vehicles however it was extremely safe and secure. The check in and out process was simple and streamlined. The rooms were modern, clean and stylish. Where AFL shines the most is the SERVICE!!! Excellent, top notch. We had our own butler/assistant but the entire staff was at our service, skilled, informed and kind. Food/wine was good as well, typically served family style. They have their own farm where most of the produce comes from so everything was fresh. Would def recommend AFL to anyone staying in the Arusha area! Added bonus...the scenery was amazing!!!

We absolutely loved the Acacia Lodge. When we arrived we were greeted with a cool fruit drink , hot towels and beautiful song. Within 30 minutes we were able to get a massage and then relax at the pool. The accommodations were perfect every day Rehema would decorate our room with such creative designs and she also left us notes to help us learn Swahili. Every meal was fantastic. Ezekel Made every dinner a completely private event as we enjoyed our multi-course meal. The hot to order breakfast and the to-go lunches were all fantastic. Abu,our safari driver, Made sure we had all day adventures in the Park. We got to view the big five animals! My favorite close encounter was when Abu helped another driver with a flat tire in front of a pride of lions. We also did the garden and coffee tour with Pascal. There’s so much to learn about the people, culture and animals - everyone you are surrounded are fantastic teachers. My favorite time of the evening was our daily happy hour with assorted snacks that would just magically arrive! We would definitely recommend the lodge and the park. The park is so unbelievable you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it.

In December 2022, we stayed two nights at the FARM ACAIA hotel in Tanzania, a couple and three adult daughters. Every time we arrived to the hotel from our day out, the whole staff waited for us at the entrance with songs and dances "Akuna Matata", with soap and water to wash our hands and with sage fruit juice. We got immediately to know the highest level of service: Martin was assigned to be our personal assistant, he fulfilled every request with courtesy and professionalism and provided us with private and high quality meals. The hotel manager contacted us every evening to make sure we were satisfied and that we lacked nothing. When we were at dinner, the house kipper arranged the kitchen in the room, changed towels, arranged for us a good night performance using patterned towels and flowers, and left a lovely handwritten letter. The rooms are beautiful, clean, well-equipped and very large. They include a huge bedroom, a large bathroom with two sinks, a living room, a closet and a large balcony facing the crop fields belonging to the hotel. The hotel has a large pool and a great spa. When we left the hotel, all the staff came out singing and dancing to say goodbye to us. We had a great time at the hotel and we are sure that we will return.

The perfect lodge to relax after a long safari. This was by far the most luxurious stay of our entire 18 day safari. Upon arrival, we were greeted with singing, a warm pitcher of hot water and soap to clean our faces and hands after a dusty trip from the Serengeti and a glass of freshly squeezed watermelon juice. We were introduced the team who would be helping us during our stay including housekeeping, our "butler" at the restaurant and the massage/spa team. The rooms were very spacious with a living room and balcony and a huge bedroom with giant picture windows, a closet area and then a large bathroom. The bed was surrounded with mosquito netting at night and was very comfortable. The food is served in the dining building and was served buffet style and it was very good offering all kinds of options for everyone. We dined outside on the veranda which was very comfortable. Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful. The lodge is a working farm including growing their own coffee plants. It's very lush and tropical. It's a gated facility so it's very safe to walk around the property even in the evening after dinner. We were greeting each evening with a message from the housekeeping team which was fun. We did have a one-hour massage which was so relaxing after many hours bouncing around a jeep for two weeks on bumpy, dusty roads. It was a great place to end our trip.

Spent just the one night here as a stopover between Lake Manyara NP and the Ngorongoro Crater but could easily have stayed longer. Happily I arrived early enough to sit out in the gardens admiring the views while having a beer prior to an excellent dinner. The single suites have a large bedroom, separate sitting room with fridge & tea/coffee making facilities and TV. The bathrooms are modern and everything works well. It's an excellently maintained property with very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.

We were greeted by staff with warm water to wash our hands & face & a cool drink, which was so welcome after so much traveling. The unit was spacious with a seperate sitting area as well as the bedroom & bathroom. The staff went out of their way to make us feel very special including decorating our room with towel animals & flowers. A big fuss was also made at dinner with our table decorated with flowers. As I had a birthday at that time, I was seranded by all the staff singing "Jambo" & given a birthday cake. We were also seranded when we were leaving. The food was only mediocre but the hospitality was amazing.

We had a remarkable stay at this lodge. The rooms were extremely comfortable with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and beautiful balconies to enjoy the well kept gardens that surround the property. The pool was in a beautiful garden and was perfect for a cool dip after a long hot day in the car. The kids were very happy to have a place to play for awhile. The rooms had every comfort that you would expect in an upscale hotel in North America. The staff was amazing and made sure that we had everything that we could possibly need. The turn down service was beautiful each night with flowers that graced our room. We celebrated a birthday while we were there and they made sure that the room was decorated and that we had a great birthday celebration at dinner. The food was family style and was chef quality. There is nothing that we did not like about this hotel and we highly recommend it to others.

The hotel and rooms are beyond beautiful, magazine quality decor with authentic hospitality and comfort beyond expectations - we were sad we could only stay one night. The staff sings to you when you arrive and the sunset was so beautiful from the deck. Great break after a long hot day on safari in Tarangire

We spent 1 night at Acacia on August 11th 2021 on our way to Ngorongoro and Serengeti from Arusha. The Lodge is just awesome, never experienced something like that before, the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. We took part to the Walking tour (45min) through the Garden and the Coffee plantation with a nice guide and then had a good coffee tasting at the coffee place.
We were four people and had one Twin room and one Double room, being honest both were just AMAZING ! Rooms are perfectly well decorated and very very spacious, amazing beds and views on the garden trough the large windows.
The staff is so gentle and kind, from their introduction at the check-in to the very last song they all sang together next to the car for us after the check out. We are already missing a lot that Lodge. One night there feels like a second home away from home.

Thanks a lot to all the staff for all their little attentions. We will be back for sure and will support that place a lot now back in Europe.

Long life to Acacia Farm Lodge.

We arrived after sunset and were greeted by the staff as they sang a song for us. We were introduced to the staff and shown to our beautiful and large suite, which featured a living room, bedroom, big bathroom, and a private balcony overlooking the forest with hills in the distance. Due to Covid, there were only a few other guests that night and we had a romantic, candlelight dinner with just the two of us on the large balcony attached to the main building. The food was excellent!

When we went back to our room, we found flower petals in the shape of a heart on the table in the living room and on the floor of the bedroom with lit candles in the middle of each. That was a nice surprise and a great touch. Veronica left a sweet handwritten note with English words translated to Kiswahili, which we thought was great and is now in our photo album.

As we were leaving early the next morning, the staff again sang for us and added to our enjoyment.

Beautiful facilities. Great staff. Terrific food. We enjoyed our one-night stay immensely. We wish our stay was longer so that we could have fully enjoyed the grounds.

Hi - we drank bottled water and used it to brush teeth. But this spot and would think others like it would use safe water for the cleaning of vegetables and salads. Its a lovely place and the last thing they would want would someone being ill. Great place! - hope you have a great time..
