The staff are phenomenal here, they go above and beyond for all guests. They are all kind and helpful. It was also lovely to meet Masai members here, who provided us with insights and knowledge on their community and way of life. Sundowners drinks is not to be missed absolutely stunning view. Rooms are clean and provide enough space ( we stayed in the hotel rooms), the pool was a lovely addition after our long days out for safari and the bbq food was delicious. The only negative for me was the food in the restaurant, which may be more of a personal opinion, there was a lot of coriander in a few of the dishes, which to some people this taste is hard to consume. But otherwise a fabulous stay and would recommend. On top of that snacks and drinks are well priced in comparison to other places we stayed over our week long safari trip.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. We stayed there twice, 2 nights then stayed in Serengeti for 2 nights before returning for 2 nights. My friend had limited mobility and on second stay gave us a free upgrade without us asking. Buffet food was excellent especially as I am a fussy vegetarian. Most guests were German or Dutch yet being English we were made to feel special, other guests also friendly

We overnighted at Highview Hotel from Serengeti, before going to Ngorongoro Crater. Our ensuite room was nice, spotless and pretty comfortable. The staffs were very helpful, they helped with our luggage when we arrived quite tired from the roadtrip, showed us to our room and then proceeded to invite us for dinner at the dining area after a hot shower.
We slept soundly, waking up to a cold swim followed by a filling breakfast and then departed for the crater.
There was always someone to assist with directions, towels and anything we needed,
Keep it up Highview

We arrived for our adventure, had 2 nights (one at beginning, one at end of trip) we were welcomed by friendly smiles cool cloths and a refreshing drink on both arrivals. The staff are friendly and work hard. The accommodation was as described, clean and done its job, we have no complaints. The food we got to eat outside and inside. We enjoyed what we ate, maybe not as piping hot as might expect, served off Bain Marie plates but tasty!!! We had a lovely stay many thanks

The Highview Hotel has some lovely views across the valley. They provide a daily walk around the coffee and vegetable gardens, where we got to see how the coffee is made, and ate avocado straight from the tree. We liked that they grew some of the food they served, and it was generally tasty. There's a nice swimming pool available, with its own small bar. The room was fine, I'd describe it as compact. The shower didn't have much water, but it worked. WiFi is available in the dining area. The takeaway lunches were the best we had from any of the places we stayed in Tanzania. Overall a nice place to stay.

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our safari tour. The hotel is conveniently placed for visiting the Ngorongoro crater.
The rooms were clean and well equipped. The buffet style restaurant was ok, but there wasn't a huge choice in dishes.
The bar is well stocked, with comfy seating and the staff are all polite and helpful. Please be aware that access to the rooms is via many steps so if you have restricted mobility it may be worth checking with the hotel.

Good hotel with a nice location with very beautiful views from the loft. Comfortable large beds. Good food that two of four days was served as a buffet and two dinners we had to choose from a menu. Breakfast had what we needed so we were full. We were in the area on safari and the hotel was good for where we were going. For lunch we got a box with sandwich, pasta, rice, fruit and biscuits that filled well. Generally the standard is lower in Tanzania so is based on the conditions we give above judgement.

Super nice and competent staff, very nice location with views of the mountains and valleys as well as coffee plantations. The rooms are small and the water pressure a bit too low. In the afternoon fresh coffee/tea and small snacks. Reception always with damp cloths and hibiscus juice, which was very pleasant after a safari.

Highview Hotel is a beautiful countryside retreat that was a very welcome sight. Our stay was part of a 7-day safari with Zara Tanzania Adventure, and the entire experience was incredible. The view from our first-floor room was stunning, offering a breathtaking green panorama.
Each meal was a delightful blend of local and international flavors, prepared with great care and attention to detail. I highly recommend Highview Hotel to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable place to stay during their safari adventure. Amazing views, excellent food, and top-notch service made our experience unforgettable.

Hi, I’m not sure if they do there own safari cars. We had already booked before hand with a company but I’m sure they would be able to arrange one for you, as there are plenty of tour companies in the area.

Answer from Zainab A

For Tanzania, there are two associated plug types, types D and G. Plug type D is the plug which has three round pins in a triangular pattern and plug type G is the plug which has two flat parallel pins and a grounding pin. Tanzania operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
