Opened 2023 apparently, everything is very nice. Waiter service very attentive, arguably a bit too much, I’d rather just eat my dinner! Rooms (brick built bungalows) very comfortable, large clean bathrooms, swimming pool temperature just right in lush gardens. Would recommend.

The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and provided a great place to relax after or before exploring Ngorongoro Conservation Area or Lake Manyara because it is very close to both tours.
The food was excellent. Every meal was enjoyable and well-prepared, offering both local and international dishes.
Moreover, the staff was very kindness and helpfulness.
This accommodation provided a pleasant and convenient stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We were pleasantly surprised when we turned up here, the lodge and rooms are beautiful, well kept and very clean. The bathrooms in the rooms are especially nice, robes are provided, tea and coffee in the rooms and a mini fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks which was a nice surprise. Staff are very welcoming and happy and could not do enough for you, dinner was the best food we had in Tanzania, the Pina Colada’s are especially good! breakfast was also just as good. Felix hosted us on both occasions we ate here and he was so polite, attentive and friendly, thank you Felix! We only stayed at heart and soul lodge for one night but if we could have stayed longer then we definitely would have! All staff are a credit to this hotel and we will hopefully be back for a longer stay soon! Thank you!!

We spent 14 incredibly beautiful and eventful days at this lodge. Birgit and Joseph have built up a wonderful idyll here with a huge garden. Every 2. Day we went on a safari (Lake Natron, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangiere NP, Lake Manyara NP). Also highly recommended is the bike tour with local guide in Mto Wa Mbu. We also visited the Hazabe and Datoga people and Lake Eyasi. Pick-up and drop-off service from Arusha airport to Kilimanjaro airport was impeccable.
The facility is in excellent and well maintained condition, the staff extremely friendly and very busy. Breakfast buffet is sufficient according to the possibilities and the dinner in menu form very diverse us very good.
We can only recommend the facility, there were no negative points.

We've.been there just for one night for a stop over in our way back home trip. Beautiful structure secluded (can only be reached with a safari's 4WD!) and surrounded by the forest. Rooms may be improved to fix some small deficiencies. Women staff very gentle and prompt. Special thanks to Claudia, a trainee with a bright future in hospitality!

This accommodation is really 100% recommended. A fantastic garden with swimming pool and views of Lake Manyara, fabulous food and also the staff are very friendly and attentive. Especially basement Claudia spoiled us very much. The rooms are very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Even the water is filtered and thus has drinking water quality.
We can recommend this lodge 100%!

We spent several days with the family at this wonderful lodge.
Highly recommended from the large, tip-top cleaned rooms with comfortable beds to the extremely friendly and courteous staff. Worth mentioning is the excellent food, vegetables from our own farm, we had HP. The lodge organized safaris to Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater and Tarangiere for us. In any case, we recommend the bike trip to Mto wa Mbu with lunch at the banana plantation. Very delicious. Everything was well organized.
We all felt very comfortable at Heart and Soul and can fully recommend this lodge. Keep it up. 👍

This place is Paradise and I feel like I’m in part of the Garden of Eden. When we first arrived we were greeted with smiles, a hibiscus drink and a warm face towel. The road leading here was kind of bumpy and dusty but worth the climb.

The resort is surrounded by vegetation and fruit trees . The rooms are spacious with mosquito netting and has an outside balcony to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. There are beautiful authentic African robes to be used and a fridge with complimentary tea and coffee. the bathroom was also spacious but cozy.
The food was delicious and service outstanding. The drinks were a bit expensive for what you get but delicious as well.

The pool was warm and inviting with sun chairs. The whole resort was extremely clean and beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the region. We plan on returning!!!! Loved it !

We stayed 2 nights at the Heart & Soul Lodge as part of a safari to Ngorongoro, Tarangire Park and Lake Manyara (very well organized by Professional Safaris). This lodge is new, very well maintained, comfortable rooms with everything needed (including a bathrobe). The pool is very nice after a day of safari. The restaurant is excellent with a full menu served at table! Breakfast is excellent too. The hotel staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Anyway, I highly recommend this lodge.

We stayed and dined in this lodge during our honeymoon, and had a very pleasant stay there. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the staff very attentive, and the setting in the middle of greenery is simply incredible. More importantly, the swimming pool allows you to cool off after a day of safari. In short, an ideal place!
