A beautiful hotel with really nice owners who make it a point to interact with guests....really felt like extended family.....good food....great location....only concern was tent was airy were the bathroom was located..for obvious reasons...very cold in the mornings...all in all, very good stay
We stayed one night in this lodge, between lake Manyara and the Serengeti. We arrived too late to visit the school but we like the effort of the owners to support the project and to develop it where they can. Happy to have contributed to...More

The Tents are large & comfortable and food is very good. This was our second camp on Safari and it was nice & relaxing and close to the Ngorongoro crater which is awesome.
Good base to explore the area.

Hi January was OK. Keep in mind the lodge is not that close to the crater gate and serengeti. It takes a couple of hours to get to the crater so we opted for a camp on the rim, more expensive but worth the money in my opinion. We stayed at Rhotia to support their project but 3 nights were too long. There is not a lot to do there. Hope this helps.
