Absolutely loved our time at Rawah guest ranch. It truly is a little slice of heaven. The staff make you feel like family the moment you get there. We had the best time fly fishing, horseback riding, archery, hiking and more. We even got a massage at their little spa. The food was fantastic! The views were amazing. Our cabin was cozy and perfect. We had so much fun hanging with the animals and socializing with the other guests. By the end of our trip, we were so sad to leave. We stayed from Sunday afternoon - Wednesday morning and we wished we had another full day. We felt like family by the time we left and the ranch was our home too. We will never forget the memories we made there or the people we met. If you are going to the ranch, I highly recommend driving the poudre park drive. You get great views of the Rockies and the river. It’s an awesome way to start or end the trip! I highly recommend Rawah if you are looking for a real authentic dude ranch vacation and some rest/relaxation too.

They organized and guided through all the outdoor activities and made all of them so fun!!! Our bedroom was so cozy and filled with details wherever you turned. Times at the fire place meeting new friends and a having delicious drink before dinner was great!!! Would go back again and again!!! Congratulations Rawah family for this amazing experience!!!

This is a one-of-a-kind experience. it all starts the moment you get there and they welcome you. It is recommended that you stay three nights at least to live at full !!! Nevertheless, you can do nothing or everything at all. Hiking is a must whether it is for a mile or much more all the way to the waterfalls. Horsebackriding is something not to be missed among 40 plus horses to choose from. Arching to different levels as well as shooting no matter if you have or have no skill or experience, is all supervised. Fly fishing is very fun and they provide it all... learning how to do it is part of the fun. stargazing, dancing, all kind of games, space and time for reading. fireplaces all over the place as well as a game room. The common factor here is fun. Did I mention first-class service? attentive, smiling, always helpful, and absolutely fantastic. The operation is run by extremely knowledgeable and well-trained people. Breakfast and lunch are all American styles but dinner is in a family-style manner and deliciously cooked and prepared after 5 o clock drinks in the living room. The log cabins are fantastic, safe, cozy, and lovely. This place is enjoyable whether you're single, married, in a group, family, or all by yourself. This is an experience that you will never forget. that is for sure !!!!.

Rawah was amazing!! All of the staff/wranglers were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and cozy. The Horseback riding was fantastic, with the opportunities to walk/trot/lope. We even saw a few moose during the ride. The food was excellent, clearing our expectations. If you are looking for a family-friendly place to go ride, fish, do archery, shoot guns, hike, and much, much, more. The scenery is great, with mountains, rivers, and lakes. We'll be back. Thank you, Rawah!

After looking at some of the very high end dude ranches in Wyoming and Montana, we decided we didn't want to deal with all the connecting flights and extended travel they would require. I decided I wanted something within reasonable driving distance of Denver where I could get non stop flights to for all family members. The reviews I read about Rawah made it seem like it had all I was looking for- beautiful scenery, great accommodations, fabulous food and top-notch activities. All in a smaller ranch with fewer guests. It did not disappoint in any of the above. And it was so much more. From even before booking and throughout the booking process I felt like we had "found" old friends. Kristy and the team at Rawah made every single one of us feel known, loved and cared for. They said, "Welcome to our family!' and they meant it. We were treated like family for 6 nights and we are so glad we stayed for that long. It gave us enough time to experience varying weather (as the weather changes so frequently in the mountains), do lots of different activities, and also have plenty of downtime. We loved the main lodge which was a gathering spot for our family and the others staying at the same time. Happy hour was a great time to get to know one another and enjoy delicious appetizers crafted by the chef. Renee was an excellent bartender and my husband knew she was good when she pulled out the Luxardo cherries to make his old fashioned. We loved that the staff never seemed too busy to take time to talk- even though everyone is multi-tasking the many jobs on the ranch. I highly recommend Rawah and even more highly recommend the team at Rawah- we loved making new friends!

My time at Rawah was hands down one of my favorite stays ever. It cannot be overstated how breathtaking the Rawah Wilderness Area is (the beauty + the elevation). The ranch is a short trip from Fort Collins through a stunning Colorado mountain pass, and then when you pull up to the ranch you're greeted with the large Rawah entryway - you can't miss it. There's fishing, horse back riding, hiking, mountain biking, and plenty of snacks, food, and drinks always available. The cabins are very clean, heated, and the perfect place to crash at night. And in the morning, they'll bring you coffee/tea/pastries to your door. They were very accommodating with food & the bar is stocked very well! Onto activities, the fly fishing was super enjoyable, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. The wranglers & staff really seem to care about the guests & horses and want to see you enjoy your time on the ranch. I could not recommend this experience to someone more and cannot wait to return.

We had spent one week at the ranch two years ago and it was th best experience we had so we came back this year BIG MISTAKE. The room was very clean and well maintained. #1 This is a COVID Delta year. There was one one bottle of hand sanitizer on the entire ranch. This was located at the front registration desk. Other dispensers were around but always empty. Social distancing at meals was non existant eventhough there would have been room to social distance. #2 Look at the website pictures of the food ahead of time as thet will be the only time you see this type of food. In the first two days we had fish three times. NO other options were available and we asked as we had two young children. Not once during the week did we see a salad or any sort of greens. Beef was non existant. Day two we had one lamb chop for dinner...no vegetable or salad. NO other options . One lunch was shrimp quesidillas. Two slapped on a plate with only one piece of tomato...again no accompaniments. One child cannot eat seafood so they brought him about 1/2 cup of macaroni. I asked for bread and peanut butter...not available. I asked for hamburger in taco...not available. We continue into Wed dinner. One porkchop with sauce with 1/4 cup applesauce..no starch, vegetable or salad. I asked for french fries for the kids ..not avilable. Asked for milk for children...not available. By this time one couple left the ranch and another drove 60 miles into town to get food before they left two days early. Thursday Spaghetti was on the dinner menu. The spagetti was noodles, vegetables and pesto sauce. NO PROTEIN whatsoever. The poor foor continued...although breakfasts were good. Enough on the food. #3 There was absolutely no information given on safety..fire..bad weather. There was a sign on the back of the cabin door indicating each room had a radio in the drawer to communicate in case of emergency. This radio was also non exixtant. NO EMERGENCY PLAN . The programs offered on the website were different than they actually offered. No explaination was ever given as to wear to meet for activities or what the activities involved. the age for participation changed and it was not on the website or addressed in the contract. We were told we could put our 10 year old in the kids program to read in the teepee or make dream catchers!!! Our family paid $2000 /day for this type of food and expereinces. Now to the main component ..riding. They were short of wranglers so the "trail rides" were the usual string of horses riding and walking very slowly. No instruction given and no opportunity to do any other riding activities except walk. Wrangles let the way and never communicated with the guests or pointed out any sites. Some wrangles did not even know the sites or the forest at all or even where to turn on the trails. I could go on. They are on the luxury hotel list. As I indicated previously the cabin was nice.

We travel a lot and this is by far one of our most memorable vacations. The entire Rawah staff was above and beyond helpful and friendly every day. The Rawah horses are excellent trail animals and each guest is matched to a horse based on riding ability. The wranglers are confident, professional, helpful and friendly. My son and husband had very little experience with horses and can't wait to ride again. I have lots of riding experience and was matched to Smokey that had pep in his step and is a solid trail horse. My biggest concern about this type of riding was trail nags of which I didn't see any. Extra thanks to Hinkley for knocking out a merit badge, Grace and Britta for beautiful trails and views. Mason was a terrific fishing guide! His patience and prep time made fly fishing more understandable and fun to try. He spent extra time with our son helping him to successfully cath 3 fish and fulfill his scout fly fishing merit badge. Hanging out in the stream, tossing a line, and taking in the mountain views is a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday morning. Chris and Paul were really fun and helpful on the shooting range. My first time shooting skeet and they were helpful and fun! We all had a great time and saw a little wildlife too. Abby, Kelcey, and Laura are amazing trail guides. Pointing out natural highlights, finding flora and fauna and keeping guests safe. These are fantastic hiking trails with lots to see and varying degrees of difficulty. During the week days we ran into very few people outside of ranch guests. Sounds like the weekends are pretty busy on the trails so something to think about when planning your desired activities. The food is amazing! We are picky about quality and have been very underwhelmed at other resorts. Portions here are just right and the food is delicious! Breakfast covers all the basics and is freshly tailored to you. Eat as much or little as you would like. Lunch is on the lighter side which was perfect for us, and then yummy, fancy appetizers, and a delicious 3 to 4 course meal. They also take care of special dietary needs. The chefs, waitstaff, and bartender Chris all make you feel spoiled waiting on your every need. Lisa and Brooks make you feel welcomed and excited to be on the ranch! Their hospitality was second to None! I can't leave out housekeeping either. So friendly and fast fixing up your cabin daily! We truly wanted an active and adventure vacation and Rawah Ranch surpassed our expectations! Thanks for the memories!

We had a very memorable recent trip at Rawah. What a great time! The entire staff was excellent and we found management to be very accommodating and friendly. The all inclusive food was delicious and our cabin was upscale in a rustic way, squeeky clean and comfortable. Our time here was fun and adventurous but also completely peaceful and serene. You can be fly fishing one minute and relaxing in the hot tub the next. Being from the city, we really enjoyed all of the wildlife on the property like horses, donkeys, hummingbirds and moose right outside our bedroom window every morning! We were initially going to stay on the ranch for a full week, but I suggested cutting it short so we can drive down and spend some time hiking in the Rocky Mountains. In retrospect I really wish we spent the entire week at the ranch. We had such a great time every day, there was no shortage of fun activities and we were sad to leave. I really can't say enough good things about Rawah Ranch.
