Just being here all the atmosphere of the flora and fauna it is more than enough to experience real rainforest in its plenitud. Staff 100% professional, guides both Natives and Naturalists are totally knowledgeable. The food the best I have in all lodges and river cruises. Great chefs. Accommodation it is like being in A luxury lodge in Africa and... More

This tourism product exceeded our expectations. The location on a lake was beautiful. The accommodation was a good blend of rainforest and modern amenities. Hot water was just enough for two so long as you did not wash long hair. Safe in room. Toilet paper does not go into the toilet. Food was a good quality and adequate quantity. Guides... More

Sacha Lodge was a wonderful experience, but quite different from my expectations. I think one of the most important things to realize is that absolutely every outing will have different sightings, and a portion of the animal life you maybe lucky enough to see, depends on the the skills of the guide & naturalist you are assigned to. When we... More

We did not know what to expect when booking Sacha Lodge, in spite of the descriptions provided on the website and materials sent to us in advance. It didn't matter, because nothing could have adequately prepared us for stunning splendor of this experience. Sacha was designed for those who want to feel enveloped in the natural beauty of the jungle,... More

So the journey to Sacha Lodge is all part of the experience. It takes about two and a half hours.I would recommend a beanie for the journey as you are travelling at speed with the wind whipping around your face.Watch out for birds along the shoreline and oil company settlements which make for interesting photos along the way.A 25 minute board... Getting to Sacha Lodge was an adventure from the beginning! After taking a plane, a 2 hour boat ride, a 30 min trek and another boat crossing, we got our first glimpse of the Sacha Lodge. We were not disappointed! The setting is beautiful, the grounds well taken care of and our room was spacious. Highlights: Black tamarins, squirrel monkeys,... More

Travel to the Amazon is not easy and neither is sleeping in a rain forest but Sacha lodge makes it (nearly) a pleasure. The service is top notch, the guides knowledgable, and the lodge itself is magical. An unforgettable, AMAZING experience. Bungalows are connected by a board walk on stilts about 10 feet above the jungle floor. Rooms are simple... More

Visiting the Ecuadorian Amazon used to be very difficult. But now several lodges can be reached by boat from Coca. We, my wife and I, visited Sacha Lodge for a week-long birding tour. And we highly recommend staying at this lodge. Getting there is painless but an adventure in itself. At least in July we recommend to have some warm... More

This was such an amazing place to visit! Traveling solo wasn't a problem here, you are put into little groups and taken in different tours during the day. As it's so hot in the Amazon most days start off bright and early so you can relax at lunch time. Lots of wildlife to see, monkeys, birds, giant rat things, snakes,... More
