This was my second time staying here for a week of world class kayaking. The lodge has gotten even better. Top to bottom this is a fantastic place. Located on 28 beautiful acres along the Misahualli river, you can’t go wrong here. The variety of rooms available are new and super clean, with great design and aesthetically pleasing. Santi and Daniella have hired a great staff. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. We ate here exclusively and every meal was fantastic; both delicious and healthy. They take care to prepare the food, so no one gets sick, which can be a problem for gringos in Ecuador. The open air restaurant that over looks the jungle and the Andes to the west is definitely a highlight of staying here. I highly recommend Pacha Ecolodge to anyone that wants to experience the jungle, whether you’re a kayaker, hiker, rafter, bird watcher, etc. This is one stop shop that can handle everything - Lodging, meals, transportation, tours, hiking, kayaking, rafting. All for an excellent value as well.

From our very first communication to the last detail of our stay it was lovely. We stayed in the dragonfly room and it was magnificent: spotless clean, spacious and located right to the river so you constantly hear its sound. We chilled on the terrace and then we enjoyed a delicious homemade pizza watching the sunset at the restaurant. The room has good quality linens, matress and pillow. The bathroom is huge and luminous. Breakfast it almost entirely homemade, even the delicious bread and jam. The staff is kind and ready to explain things, one notice they enjoy their work.

I stayed at the Pacha Eco Lodge in January 2021, and it was nothing short of amazing. My cabana has perfect, lots of screens and windows and a really comfortable bed and nice bedding. The lodge's location above the river means that nights are cool and have a slight breeze which made sleeping really comfortable.

The staff was great and very accomodating with all needs whether it was a trip to the grocery store, taxi reservations, airport pickups, river shuttles, etc...

The owners have done an incredible job with the landscaping and construction. The lodge is eco-friendly and has been built as part of the environment. Locally sourced food and building materials make this place special. I was impressed to learn the lodge was built with an all-local workforce and emphasis was placed on providing building skills to locals despite the restrictions in place from COVID. In the tourist industry, it is refreshing to see native Ecuadorians making significant efforts to use a local workforce and materials. The workmanship, planning, and vibe of the lodge and grounds show pride that can't be replicated in many other places.

Santi and Dani are amazing hosts, bilingual, and really knowledgeable about the area, rivers, natural plants and medicine, and sustainability. I plan on visiting as often as possible.

I couldn't have been luckier to find a better place with great staff and even better food.

Truly a remarkable experience at Pacha. Hidden behind gates right off the highway is an oasis is awaiting! The cabins come with fantastic views and the sounds of the river flowing swiftly. Each staff member we interacted with was accommodating and pleasant. We stayed here for two nights and had dinner twice and breakfast once. The week long adventure in Ecuador, the food at Patcha was our favorite. While eating you enjoy the views of the forest and if you’re lucky seeing some wildlife! Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend a stay at Pacha Eco Lodge. The owners are bilingual, so can help with any questions you may have or touring you want to do. The rooms/ beds are very comfortable and the restaurants food is excellent! It has the local flair that I enjoy, but they can adjust meals to your diet. We brought our whitewater equipment and they were key to our success traveling around and boating the rivers. We have been exploring all regions of Ecuador for the last 5 years and thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Santi and Dani we have now found the place we will return again and again!

This place is so amazing. Santi, Dani and crew made us feel right at home. They served us homemade food made with love every breakfast lunch and dinner they accommodated all of our boats, gear and crew as they showed us all of the amazing white water the area had to offer. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the place, the cabins were comfortable and quaint. 10 out of 10 recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Wow!! The Eco Lodge is fantastic. They really know what it means to be sustainable and comfortable! The have responsibile water system, work with local communities, and have a large re-forest project! You have access to a great river and the food is amazing!! The rooms are clean and the l linens are the freshest cleanest I have ever seen in a jungle. I could go on for hours about how good Pacha lodge is, but just do yourself a favor and book a room!

Pacha Ecolodge is a beautiful place to stay that I would recommend to anyone! Santi and Dani are such gracious hosts and really know how to make you feel at home. The property is gorgeous and the lodging is top notch! My bed was incredibly comfortable and my views in the morning were incredible. Also the food is delicious! The kitchen staff knows what they’re doing. This was some of the best food I had in all of Ecuador. And while your staying here, the kayaking or rafting trips are a must do!

We stayed at Pacha twice in one month because we loved it so much! It's easily accessible from the main road but still feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. The facilities are clean with lots of fresh air flowing through them. We especially enjoyed rafting -- The guides are prepared and professional. We always felt safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing, the concept behind of recovering the forest and working the community is central to everything the Pacha team does. The service is amazing as well as the food. We went rafting, several of us were first timers and we felt safe and ready the whole time. The bedrooms and common areas were clean and tidy. I cant recommend this place enough!!!
