We spent four nights in the hostal Limoncocha with our two children. We liked it very much and we recommend the hostal to everybody who likes to spend one or more nights in Tena. It's clean, we had a great view over Tena. the breakfast is wonderful, all is prepared freshly from Michael and his wife. The two are very...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and booked the twin room with shared bathroom. Rooms were basic but very clean. Washrooms were clean as well, hot showers. No complaints! The hostel has very nice views of Tena and the staff is helpful. The rooms are very cheap!! For an extra $3 you can get a...

I have spent time around Tena regularly since 2011 and any time I need a hostel in town, I come here! It is beautiful, clean, and is run by a great family who always make you feel at home--they even help my friends and I with our Kichwa language practice! It's close enough to the center of town without being...

Nice hostel with very helpful staff: I left a small bag in the hostel and they had no problem with sending it to Quito. The rooms are fine and clean, and so is the rest of the hostel. Break fast is not included but can be bought for a reasonable price (I believe 2,5 dollars).

This hostel is well located, the bathrooms are really clean, WiFi in the rooms works great. The view from the balcony is great! They serve a decent breakfast for 3$....I've read in other comments that there's a kitchen to use.....never saw one that we were allowed in and was never shown one either. The rooms were tidy. All in all, good...

This hostel has clean bathrooms, a pretty good little kitchen and comfortable beds. It is in a nice location in tena. When we stayed there weren't very good vibes, very difficult to meet other travellers and the staff were quite grumpy. We asked for storage for our bags for a night and were willing to pay and were told no...

We ideally enjoyed our short stay at this hostel. Comfortable beds in nice rooms with tv. The shared bathrooms were spotless and the shower warm. The owner was very nice and helpful! The location of this hostel is really good. Walk out of the bus terminal and walk up the hill to your left. You will see a massive sign...

Hello out there! If you are passing through Tena and are looking for a place to stay, check out Hostel Limoncocha.....it is a short walk from the bus station. The rooms are big (with TVs) and so are the common bathrooms. It is a quiet and out of the way place, a good setting to put your feet up for...

Brief summary: cheap, clean, quite at night, fast and free WiFi, very nice views from the main balcony (which also has hammocks!). Features: - very cheap + you can negotiate rates if you are staying for longer, - competent owner, - the hostel itself offers very good rafting tours (I took two) which are on average -15% to -20% cheaper...

We really enjoyed our stay here and made a huge contribution to an unforgettable time in Tena. We had a double room with shared bathroom but low season meant fewer guests so we never found ourselves waiting on the bathroom. The kitchen area is nice on the top floor with awesome views and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast one of...
