We spent 3 nights at the Yacuma Lodge. Getting there is not easy, 2 hours drive from Tena of which one hour on a bumpy road plus an additional half hour on a boat. But it was worth it. Staff at the lodge are extremely friendly and do all they can to make your stay pleasant. The

We stayed four days/three nights in this beautiful Ecolodge. The personnel at Yacuma makes sure that you get to the lodge safely from Tena. The trip from Tena consists of a 2hour bus ride and then a 30min boat ride on the Napo River (for which you better have your camera ready).

Dear Traveler! It makes all of us at Yacuma EcoLodge super happy to hear that you have loved our EcoTourism project, and that your stay with us was so amazing. We have worked hard to make this place as entertaining and enjoyable for visitors, and it fills our hearts to know that it is paying off. I will certainly let all the kitchen staff know that you have enjoyed the meals; our cleaning team that you have appreciated the cleanliness and order of the lodge, and above all, I will make sure that all our team is aware that they are doing a great job. With your visit you are not only supporting a jungle community that strives with visitors, but also the protection of the Yacuma Jungle reserve, a 275 hectare portion of the amazon that we keep intact. We would love to see you again! Do not forget to recommend us to your friends and family as well! Please know that the amazon is always happy to greet you again. Safe travels! Hi Friend! Absolutely, there are a bunch of options to head from Quito to Tena, according to your budget. In Tena, a representative from Yacuma will take you with public bus to San Pedro, from where you will take the canoe into the Yacuma Jungle Reserve. You can take a scheduled car departure for around $20.- This car will pick you up from a point which you indicate at 5 am, and arriving to Tena city at around 9:30 am. Here, we recommend having some breakfast, and getting your last minute snacks, batteries, etc, before meeting our representative and heading into yacuma for your jungle adventure. You can also take Public bus from the Quito Bus Terminal "Quitumbe" to Tena, for $8.- This ride takes about 2 hours longer to reach to Tena, where a similar process will occur, and our representative will take you from Tena, to Yacuma Jungle EcoLodge. You can also hire a private car ($90.- one way) to take you from Quito to Tena at your will (making any stops you need) The works similarly, with scheduled departures or with a private car if you choose so. The minimum number of Days that we recommend for Yacuma is 3 days and 2 nights in the lodge, but there are also the standard 4D/3N and 5D/4N Packages. . All meals while on the lodge are included in the price, as well as all activities & visits, including kayaks, tubing activities, gold panning, all the jungle hikes available, and much more. After your Yacuma Experience, we would also recommend heading down to Baños, and eventually to Cuenca, if it is in your trip plans! Safe travels :D

"Try to be the sole occupant(s) in a bock."
"A higher situated hut will feel more airy and sunny, because of high humidity of the jungle."
"Try to go when the place is not full so that you do not have to share the bungalow!"
"All good in their different way. Those round the central area have a nice outlook and those that are higher up the hill have slightly more of a view but really nothing to choose between them."
"All the rooms are pretty much the same, just ask for a hamaca on your outside yard."
