On our journey we followed the suggestions in the Backpacker hostels book. We decided to stay at the sleeping beauty guest House for one night. We werd very nice welcomed by the two owners of the house. The room was quite big and clean. It was equiped with a big double bed, the shower and the toilet was directly in the room. There was a TV and you could make your own tea. The owners were also very friendly and helpful.

Our room was large and spacious with 2 big windows on to the upstairs verandah. We arrived from Calitzdorp by bicycle and found a beautiful shady spot under a big tree in their back garden. Ideal place to read and relax. Our hosts were friendly & helpful and their dog Roxy was a hit with our 11 year old daughter. We enjoyed a proper egg & bacon breakfast before heading off to Swellendam.

Stayed here for two days whilst travelling across the country and it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The owners were very nice and chatty, the house itself is full of charm and character with a very nice garden to relax in. The rooms were nicely sized with good facilities - a big comfy bed is what counts the most! Breakfast was very nice in the mornings and parking was easy in the front garden.

The rooms were clean and well presented. A beautiful garden also awaits your visit at the back. We will be returning soon.
