Myself and family had Sunday dinner here. We had a couple of courses each and all enjoyed our meals. Only negative really is that they charge an extra £3 for a beef Sunday dinner. Never known anywhere charge extra for beef on a Sunday dinner. Was really good though but shouldn't have to pay more for beef. Nice restaurant area...

Thanks for your positive review, we took the decision to change the excess for beef as we upgraded the joint from topside to premium sirloin and generally the quality feedback is excellent

My partner and I booked a room as the hotel is located close to a wedding venue we were attending. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable with the basic comforts of a kettle and hair dryer. The bathrooms could use and update but are clean and practical. There is plenty of parking at the...

I really like it here, the menu is a bit different and I've enjoyed all of my meals there. i like the decor and the atmosphere. i usually go in the week and find there are plenty of other diners which helps add to the pleasant ambiance. I have never stayed.

Only had a one night stay but was impressed with lovely clean room and general appearance of hotel. Rooms are situated in a corridor type setting and unfortunately I was allocated a room near the entrance so a good nights sleep was unfortunately a tad interrupted. Check in and check out was efficient and plenty of parking. Very well situated...

The hotel was lovely and the bedroom very comfortable. Dinner was good and the menu was varied. However, breakfast was very disappointing - vacuum flasks were past their best and it was difficult to get a cup of very average coffee. Yoghurt was listed on the menu but not available. More attention needed to improve breakfast starting with replacing flask...

Visited the restaurant with friends for an evening meal. The menu should appeal to all tastes - fish, meat pies, pizzas and steak. The food was served promptly and tasty. The staff were were somewhat deadpan and didn't look like they wanted to be there and the atmosphere felt flat. By 10:30pm the restaurant was almost deserted and we got...

Our Northampton wedding venue recommended The World's End for our wedding party. We booked the majority of the hotel and on the whole, were relatively disappointed. Rooms fairly basic and the coffee (even in a superior room!) is Nescafe original....I would expect this at a truckers caf, not a premium priced hotel. The superior room was booked for bridesmaids the...

I am sorry you were disappointed, it seems unusual as many of the guests complimented us upon check out, as we cook all our food fresh to order it can take time for us to deliver breakfasts together if a party all arrive at the same time. I do hope we will see you again in the future

We took my Mum there earlier on this evening for dinner and it was her first time there. She was impressed by the decor and the great service from the staff. First visit here and came on recommendations, good menu slightly different to the usual pub grub, beef bourginon pie was excellent as was the lasagne, only downside was that the excellent portions meant we had no room for one of the great looking puddings, service good and unobtrusive
