We stayed 10 days with our 2 children in one of the appartment and we all had a wonderful time there. The appartment was spacious, with a living room, a well equiped kitchen (open in the living room), 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (and wifi). The appartment was very clean, the staff was very kind and welcoming and available, organized airport transfer, car renting, boat trip, and even provided breakfast for the first day. The view on the see was fantastic. The beach is only a few minutes by foot. A bank, post, restaurants and small supermarket are close to the property (10 minutes by foot). Ideal for families.

Perfect maintenance and attention to smallest detail made for a great stay for our family with two small kids. The apartment is well equipped for cooking. Rooms are spacious, bright and very clean. Our apartment had a great view of the sea and the nearby islet, which we could enjoy from the balcony, the living room and the master bedroom. The accommodation was far better than the other hotel we stayed at in the Seychelles (same price range). The Fairyland beach below the hotel is beautiful, with fine grained sand and no sharp rocks. Anse royale beach is just a few meters south. Several stores are close by, as well as a bank and hospital. When we had an accident, Solana and her husband Philip instantly went to great lengths to help. She also gave us a lot of useful tips and organized taxi rides for us.

Incredibly huge number (# 2). An absolutely stunning view from the window. Large veranda, comfortable kitchen, beautiful courtyard. Everything is prepared with great attention to detail and a sense of taste. Each plate is in its place. The owners themselves live in the hotel and constantly make sure that everything is in order and the guests are satisfied. By the way, you can rent a surfboard or canoe from them. The beach is really five minutes walk. The beach is excellent, many guests are even sure that it is the best on the island. You can stop for a very long time, before us a diver from Switzerland lived in the room for a month. A Russian family lived in another room, the man worked remotely. There are showers in the courtyard, the gates are locked at night, but the guests have a key on the key fob. An absolutely uncompromisingly chic hotel.

Great place to start exploring the island. It's important to note that the beach Anse Royale within 5 minutes walking distance. There is a public transport stop nearby. Everything that you need for holidays is available inside. There is a kitchen with all the necessary supplies that are very convenient even in a small apartment. It's impressive to watch the ocean from a very kept garden. Last but not least should be shared that the owners are extremely helpful and very friendly. We stayed here for two nights in 2Villas both two bedrooms. I must say this is a small piece of heaven on earth. The villas are very well maintained, spotless clean and very modern. They are both very spacious with beautiful balconies facing the sea, I have lived in Seychelles for few years and I love getaways like this and I travel when I get a chance. I must say this is the very most top place I have been to in Seychelles. The Host Ms. Solana and her Family are very keen with their guests taking every necessary measures to keep all of us safe, there are hand sanitizers in every corner in public spaces. Which was very impressive. Kitchen is fully equipped with every utensils you might need. There is a big fridge, toaster, microwave, rice cooker and mention it... very nice.
The shopping centre is just few meters away with ATM, supermarkets and grocery stores even restaurants.
The beach is one of the most beautiful in Seychelles. There are many places to access from this place.
We will be coming back definitely and we will all talk about this place with all our friends. See you all soon.

We lived in the two-bedroom apartment for a week. We were positively surprised by the cleanliness, the pictures definitely keep what they promise. We especially liked the huge terrace, which is equipped with a table and a sun bed and offers a lot of possibilities to stay. The location of the Au Fond de Mer apartments is unbeatable, with proximity to the beach (just walking down the street) and a central location in Anse Royale. The pleasant stay is completed by the very hospitable and helpful care of Solana and her family. We received many tips and contacts for various excursions, which we were also very enthusiastic about. We will definitely come back and will gladly recommend the apartments "Au Fond de Mer" to others.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Solana and her team for hosting us at Au Fond. I and my now husband were looking for the right place to stay for our wedding and honeymoon. When going through the options we landed on this little piece of heaven a few steps away from the beach and close to the shops because since the restaurants were closed we would have to prepare our meals. So this was the right place for us. The house is well equipped for self service and you get the feel of home away from home. It has amazing views of the Anse royale beach and the town is 7/10min away from the hotel. The hospital is also a 7/10 Min walk which is good for your Covid19 tests. They were quite fast to process our outbound Covid19 results, at 500 Seychelles rupees. The island went on a lockdown 2 days into our stay which really sucked but Solana and her team were quite helpful to get us the basics we needed daily. Also she really intervened with our agent to get us married soonest possible as this was our main aim of travelling to the island. I would however be reluctant to visit during this time especially if you plan to tour the beautiful island. Maybe after you get the vaccine or are ready to quarantine for 10 days. Moving around requires you to have a means of transport(taxis) which is quite costly so please budget on that. Tourists are not allowed to use the public transport as of now. If you get to Au Fond during this time the mountains are the best place to go to for daily walks. Keep your masks on as well.

We rented 2 bedroom apartment on 2nd floor with sea view. The apartment itself is very clean and well maintained, spacious, has a lot of windows - so you can appreciate tropical beauty around you. Sea view is just amazing. All kitchen utensils are in place, we cooked by ourselves. The host Solana is ready to help with everything, very caring person, we felt like home! Room cleaning is done super properly. The territory of apartment complex is also very clean and beautiful, with lots of tropical flowers. There is space to park your car. We liked everything really
Amazing location! Beach is 5 min walk, but on the way back you have go ascend the hill. It is not big, was not a problem even for little kids. Fairyland beach (next to hotel on the right) is the best for children - very smooth depth increase, no waves at all, a lot of natural shade, no rocks underwater. We travelled across all Mahe island and did not find better children friendly beach! Anse Royale beach (next to hotel on the left) is very good for pictures and snorkelling. We stayed in first floor apartment with wonderful sea view and a large terrace. The apartment was spacious, bed comfortable but with the views and dining table and sofa outside we spent most of our time there. The walk to the village with selection of shops and cafes was about 10 minutes and the beach closest by about 2 minutes so quite convenient even without car. The beach was not too crowded, good for snorkeling and you could find a spot under the nice almond trees. For lazy cooks the excellent detail was Perry's food delivery, easy ordering by phone and everything was really well prepared, fresh and very high quality. Would definitely stay here again as well as recommend to anybody liking a peaceful and beautiful location with everything you need close by.

There are public buses on the main road that we used once or twice. The walk to and from the main road is steep and may be problematic for the senior? We also hired a car for a few days (around $35 per day) which we thoroughly enjoyed though wouldn't advise driving after dark with the narrow roads especially if it rains! There is parking right at the guesthouse which will take walking the steep hill out of the equation.
There are more places to choose from in the Anse Royale area.
