I stayed here with a group of 8 at the end of a week long cycling trip. The rooms were nice and spacious with ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious - the best I had that week. The hostess was very welcoming. Very reasonably priced.

My father and I turned up late and very wet on our motorcycles and May took us in and pampered us. She sent us to the local pub that evening and made us a great breakfast the following morning to set us up for the next part of our journey. I would certainly stay at the Harbour Lights again.

Harbour Lights is a lovely place to stay. May is so welcoming and a great source of knowledge about everything in the area. It was a delight to stay there on my first visit in 2012 and equally nice this time. Very happy to recommend it.

Lobbed in after driving through a terrible stormy day and asked at the pub if they knew anyway we could stay. We were directed to the Harbour Lights and May welcomed us like old friends. Booked us into a lovely room and then dropped us back to the pub as the weather was just awful. Wonderful breakfast the next morning...

Stayed here on the last night of our road trip with two adult sons. It is comfortable and friendly. Nice walk to the pub and for dinner. My sons managed to have quite a night at the pub and rolled in after midnight without walking the place up! May cooked us breakfast at 0630 after the ferry company suggested leaving...

We stayed in the Harbour Lights B&B for the last weekend in September, we really enjoyed our stay and could not fault one thing about this B&B. We had our 17month old baby with us and this was no problem for May and Ann at breakfast time, we both had the full Irish each morning which was yummy. Our bedroom...

Cycle touring in Ireland, we were one day into our trip, having come off the ferry at Rosslaire and awoke in our tent the next day to constant rain and low temperature. Arriving in Kilmore Quay we were plucked into the warmth of Harbour Lights B&B by May who gave us a choice of rooms and soon had our bikes...

My fiancé and I spent two nights in this bright, roomy and spotless B&B. The staff were very helpful, especially the fry cook Kieran. He's writing a book about the area and gave us some invaluable local knowledge to help us get the best out of our stay. He ll answer any questions you have in a very witty manner!...

When we go to Ireland, we always go to Kilmore Quay and stay at May Bates's Harbour Lights. Meantime, it has become a home from home! The central location is nevertheless very quiet. May is a marvellous hostess who does het utmost the make her guests feel at their ease. Within reason, special wishes and requirements are graciously met.

Stayed here in St Patrick's weekend on a short coastal tour of Wexford. Only place open in Killmore Quay. Good points: Clean & central Bad points: Everything down to the drinking glasses (pink plastic cups) in the room were circa late 80's early 90's. Just felt odd. I like the give Irish B&Bs a chance to impress but this has...
