We had a lovely overnight stay here en route to County Clare. Just far enough from the ferry port to feel like you've started your holiday! A pretty little village with lots of thatched houses, very traditional with a nice beach a couple of minutes away. There are a number of nice places to eat and a couple of pubs,... More

This is the 2nd time I have been here and I wasn't disappointed this time round either. Welcomed by the owner on first name terms which made me feel very welcome. The rooms are fresh, clean and in tip top condition. The home cooked breakfast always sets me up for good day. All I can say is pat and his... More

We received a warm welcome from Siobhan when we arrived. The rooms were spacious, although a little tired in the ensuite. However, everything was perfectly adequate for our needs, and certainly the space was welcome. Also there was a lounge area for use by guests. There are a couple of pubs and restaurants a short walk away, although we were... More

This is a very lovely B & B , with pubs etc within a very easy walk. Also the Quayside is less than 10 minutes away & if you go down mid evening you're sure to see seals. Lovely clean, bright rooms, plenty of parking & fabulous breakfast. Our host Siobhan was very friendly and charming.

Kilmore Quay village is a hidden gem and Quay House B&B is a great place to spend the night at a reasonable price in the middle of the village. Our room had a sea view and was clean and comfortable. The owner, Patrick McDonnell, is a welcoming host and cooked a lovely Irish breakfast. We'll be back and we'll stay... More

Kilmore Quay is a small, family friendly, quiet, old fashioned extremely pleasant place to recharge your batteries. Quay House B&B is the perfect place to stay. The owner and her staff couldn't be more friendly. The location is great. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped.

This was a very basic b&b and over priced for what one gets. When we arrived back from our dinner last night we noticed lack of loo roll and had to take from the main toilet in the dining room. Owner mailed me while out during the day which was the day we stayed wanting to know what form of... More

Dear 'Paul's brother... thank you for your comment regarding your stay at Quay House. I am sorry that your room seemed to be left short of toilet roll - an oversight on my behalf. I am glad that you managed to find some in the main toilet. Regarding payment. Unfortunately I was away on Sunday morning due to a sudden... More

My husband and I had a lovely stay here last week. Siobhan was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. The room was both spacious and spotless and a nice haven in the afternoon should you need a rest. I must also mention the excellent breakfast with many second helpings and teapot refills. We stayed for three nights and have... More
