Lovely stay in the centre of Kilmore Quay, near to pub and eating places. Our room was spacious and very clean with nice view towards the Saltee Islands. Breakfast was nice.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Kilmore Quay is a small, family friendly, quiet, old fashioned extremely pleasant place to recharge your batteries. Quay House B&B is the perfect place to stay. The owner and her staff couldn't be more friendly. The location is great. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped.

This was a very basic b&b and over priced for what one gets. When we arrived back from our dinner last night we noticed lack of loo roll and had to take from the main toilet in the dining room. Owner mailed me while out during the day which was the day we stayed wanting to know what form of... More

Dear 'Paul's brother... thank you for your comment regarding your stay at Quay House. I am sorry that your room seemed to be left short of toilet roll - an oversight on my behalf. I am glad that you managed to find some in the main toilet. Regarding payment. Unfortunately I was away on Sunday morning due to a sudden... More

My husband and I had a lovely stay here last week. Siobhan was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. The room was both spacious and spotless and a nice haven in the afternoon should you need a rest. I must also mention the excellent breakfast with many second helpings and teapot refills. We stayed for three nights and have... More

Just back from an overnight stay at the Quay House B&B. I highly recommend. We had a family room that was large, clean, comfortable, with a telly and everything you could think of - like instructions on how to use the remote controls, and a repeat of the wifi password, etc. Thoughtful touches. The breakfast was amazing - fresh seasonal... More

I should start out by saying that I "tried" to stay at this B&B, booked a couple of months in advance and two days before our arrival I rang to say we would be arriving late and would that be okay.......this was the response "well that wont work, did you book on booking.com and if you did it clearly states... Thank you for taking time to comment on my accommodation - even though you did NOT stay with me!!! The booking.com site clearly indicates the check in times. I think in future you should check with your accommodation provider first to see if it is ok to arrive late -before making a reservation - and thus avoid disappointment. Small b&b... More

Clean, comfortable, easy to find and a short walk to the pub and harbour. Booked over the phone and nobody was there to meet us. Called the numbers on the sign and after several calls spoke to a man who was overseas. A couple of anxious calls later and the owners father settled us in - it was getting late... More

Heard about this place from a friend who had been here before and thought I would give it a try on a well deserved break from work.
