This resturant may have the worst service in all of croatia. It first took about 20 min to order and then to get our food and drinks was another hour. The dishes from the last visitors also remain on the table since we came here.
The hotel is a lot better than the pictures as it's clean and well kept. The decor is dated but has a certain 79s Soviet charm. I stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed it. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water, and wifi was stable. The location was perfect as you can walk to the beach within minutes. Old town with different restaurants and coffee options are very close too. Breakfast and dinner were also good with lots of choices including good salad bars, meat, sweets. The real treat was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were over 200 of us in the group with various needs and staff was happy to help.
I stayed at the Zora hotel for the second time. Hotel well situated right on the beach. Rooms clean and cleaned daily. The reception staff were very helpful and if something was wrong they were happy to exchange the room. Food buffet style good for three stars. Unfortunately, lunch can only be purchased at the hotel reception, and only half board was available on the website. The small gym in the building next door is a nice amenity. I can recommend all trips organized by Lucija from the hotel. She speaks several languages, has a great knowledge of Croatia and is always available to help.
The hotel is on a lovely quiet peninsula, surrounded by tree and beautifully blue waters. The air is fresh, and there's only one road in and out. Now to the bad parts: * The layout is labyrinthine, with 8 or 9 buildings connected one to the next by corridors, and unclear doors in or out of them. Many doors were locked at night, and there's no key-based access. * Buildings 1-5 (maybe 6 as well, don't recall) were very old, with no soundproofing towards the hallways, and old scratched furniture. I stayed there for two weeks, and two crowds of teenagers made a ruckus until 2am on most nights. * There were double-pane widows and balcony doors, which helped somewhat reduce the horrible screeching noise from the BULLDOZING that's been taking place on the beach. Hopefully they'll be done soon with that, so not a huge con. * The included breakfast and dinner buffet was decent. Not a lot of options, but more than satisfactory for me (foodies might be underwhelmed). * Restaurant staff was a little strict. If you stayed 10 minutes past the breakfast or dinner closing time (10am, 9pm), they'd come to your table and tell you they're closed. * The bars were open late, and made decent (albeit variable in quality) cocktails. * The pillows were the worst I've ever had in a hotel or Airbnb. Felt like a bunch of dead mice or clumps of cut up old clothes were inside. Tip: never leave your food unattended on the terrace. Seagulls will snatch it WITHIN SECONDS. I would only stay there again in one of the new blocks, (7 and up, MAYBE 6), and only when they're done with the bulldozing.…
hotel not corresponding to the offer proposed by promovacances. Hotel too noisy, no respect for written rules especially at the swimming pool, canteen food, little choice, the desserts are very bad. Disappointed, I do not recommend this hotel. The positive points are: the staff who are adorable, and the view which is magnificent, that's all!
Very nice hotel with excellent view and amaaazing food!! We ate breakfast and dinner in hotel and it was delicious and various😋😋😋 Restaurant is definitely the best part of hotel. Stuff was polite. Rooms are decent and spacious. Recommend👍🏼
4* building experiences: the aircon in the room doesn’t cooling at all. Reported 6 times, the technicians reporting back it’s working. Theoretically the fans are running but no cooling at all. Hard to sleep in 35C…later we were told that one a/c for the whole hotel, so they can’t even repair or adjust, they don’t have enough capacity. The rooms are advertised and priced as 4*, so it’s a scandal, they are lying on their webpage, confirmation email, brochures, everywhere. The whole hotel has only one place where you can pay with card, that is the front desk. They are not opening bills for the room, so cash payment only in bars, restaurant, on the beach…or you can ask for the check, go to the front desk, pay with card, and go back with the receipt. 4 star they said…
Location and food is excelent. Accomodation in standard rooms is very problematic. Rooms are of very low standard and need heavy rekonstruction. No freezer, no safe. Only aditional fee. Sea side does not mean " sea view room" Basic beach equpment for two - 100 kn /day ?
We arrived at the hotel and realized that our Booking was not confirmed (even though it was, on Booking.com). Front office then gave us an upgraded room.. And what an improvement that was! The hotel apartment was INCREDIBLE. Views, free space, balcony, everything. What started badly soon turned into the best holiday in some time. Town is 5 mins of walk away, the beach is... Well words can´t say enough praise.. I would deffinetly recommend this hotel to everybody who wishes to enjoy their holiday in peace and quiet. I would like to give complements to Ms Marina and Ms Andrea (front office), they were amazing. Kind, professional, helpful. Great breakfast, great dinner, great staff, awesome views. Can´t wait to come back! Truly an amazing experience.
The experience was amazing. Great location, delicious food, friendly staff and animators. Every day was filled with fun and diverse activities organized by animators. I would highly recommend this hotel.
