I doubted that any b & b was worth 49 consecutive excellent reviews.Well the house is lovely, the breakfast excellent, the accommodation very comfortable and most of all the host Val is so very friendly. So yes its more than worth its excellent review. Rob & Jacqui.

This is an excellent B&B in a historic building with rooms of character. My wife and I spent two nights in the Red Room, which has a luxuriously comfortable king-size bed. The soft bathrobes are another luxury touch, something rarely provided in a private B&B. Not en suite, but the spacious bathroom just across the hall is for you alone... More

spent 1 night here sharing with a friend when attending an event at Keele Hall. the room was lovely, spotlessly clean with everything we needed and very comfy beds. Lovely host ( even gave us a lift up to the Hall). Breakfast was splendid, with a huge choice of options including freshly cooked English, a very enjoyable, relaxed stay, would... More

A friend and I recently stayed here as last minute stopover when attending an event at Keele Uni. This is a lovely b&b , boutique in style with just two rooms . WE stayed in the twin . The bathroom was across the landing ,but it was not shared . The rooms was spotless and with the level of toiletries... More

Thanks to some alumni activities at Keele University, I had the pleasure of staying one night at the Old School Keele, which is in Keele Village along with the Sneyd Arms pub. The Old School Keele B&B is run by Val, a Keele alumna herself. My "gold room" had a comfortable bed and spacious en suite bathroom, while the red... More

The house is stunning with beautifully kept gardens and an outside seating area. Welcoming & cosy. Spotless accommodation and fantastic hospitality from Val, home from home. There is a lovely dining room where you have breakfast, with a tv and newspapers and coffee & tea making facilities, this is open at all times. We visited the pub, just across the... More

We contacted the Old School having seen the positive TA reviews, as we wanted accommodation in the vicinity of Keele University where my son is in his first term. Initially, as per the previous reviewer's experience, Val advised that she was fully booked on the dates we required but sent us a very helpful comprehensive list of other local options.... More

Sadly, The Old School couldn't accommodate me on my chosen date. However, the owner very kindly sent me detailed information about other accommodation in the locality. This was not only extremely helpful but also went above and beyond. Fabulous customer service and hopefully when I am in the local are next, they will have availability.

I recently spent two nights at The Old School, Keele while attending a conference at Keele University. This is undoubtedly the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The en suite shower/toilet is ultra clean and has all mod cons and very good quality toiletry. I arrived late and Val was very kind... More

This is the second time we've stayed at this B&B and had another thoroughly lovely time. We were attending a function at Keele Hall and wanted to stay within walking (staggering) distance. The Old School is very close by and in the very pretty village of Keele. Booking by e-mail was very easy and finding it was equally so thanks... More
