Stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and only just got round to writing a review. Our room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Never a problem getting a...More
A late review, stayed March 2017.
Our first overseas trip with our two kids and this place did not disappoint. This resort is large and ideal for families. Situated on what is practically a private beach at Kata Noi, a good distance away from the...More
Stayed for four days, had a great time. Staff very helpful. Very clean. Also really enjoyed the the Coconut bar on the beach front. Good staff and music. Happy hour was bliss. Quiet area, ideal for a relaxing holiday.

I had the luxury to stay at katathani resort with my family of 5 in the emerald suite! Travelling with a family of 5 sometimes even when booking larger rooms its hard to feel a sense of space but this wasn't the case here !...More
We stayed at Katathani for the second time in Dec - We first stayed in the Bhuri wing in 2014 but opted for the Thani wing this stay (Dec 2017). We had an amazing time here at Katathani, the hotel really has EVERYTHING you need....More

From their website I would suggest the junior suite - although this may include a rollaway bed - my brother is 19 and is 6ft tall slept on a rollaway bed and found it comfortable and didn't have an issue with the size of the bed ! if your son is 13 potentially look at booking a room in the Bhuri wing - as during our stay we found this end of the resort more family oriented and closer to the kids pools also ! As the adult pools you have to be 14yrs + ! Hope this helps :)

You will love Khatathani - perfect for families. We stayed in a Grand Delux room at the back of the resort and then (after a few nights in Phi Phi Islands) returned and stayed in a beachfront room. The Grand Delux was newer and very modern, extremely comfortable, close to the games room and kids water playground. It was good value and more spacious for the four of us (2 children aged 8 and 11). The beachfront room provided a beautiful view but probably wasn't worth the extra money and it was older. Enjoy! And we loved eating at Siam Smile just outside the resort - a few doors up the road. Great Thai food but also really good Italian which the kids loved.
