Beautiful place to stay, have peace of mind and relax, it a quite place to visit for scape and refreshment specially going out of pandemic 😷, a lot of activities around the place, i recomand the journey
The Katathani is a beautiful sprawling hotel with the most lovely staff . We have nothing but praise for them and the kindness they have shown us . You couldn't ask for a better location right on Kata Noi Beach which we think is the best beach in the Kata district and most of Phuket . We can't wait to come again next time bringing more of our family to stay ! 🌴 Whilst sadly we had to cancel our upcoming trip for this October 2020 , We were well looked after with trying to initially move dates in the hope that the Covid 19 situation would improve then sadly to organising our refund . The lovely ladies we have dealt with ,with special mention of the kind Mr Visarut they have all been very obliging and kept us posted on the progress of our refund . They have all done their very best to process it all as fast as humanly possible . We feel very much for the situation the hospitality industry in Phuket would now be in, they would be suffering greatly ! A little patience with getting a refund was not too much to ask . We dream of the day we can return to Phuket and to the beautiful Katahani , laying on a sunbed in those gorgeous, well manicured gardens, watching another glorious sunset and sipping on a delicious cocktail 🍹 . See you soon Katathani 🌴 🤗…
This is my 3rd stay at this fabulous hotel. Great for families, super beachfront rooms, many pools to choose from. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I have been coming here with my family over the years. Some ok restaurants outside the hotel. Nothing very good. It's best to rent bike/car which gives you wheels to move anywhere anytime and gives you the flexibility especially with family. The massage by the poolside is a must and so relaxing. A little bit more expensive than the parlors outside the hotel, but worth it with the outdoor ambience. The hotel as we speak is undergoing renovation. Some rooms are looking a bit tired and need a bit of sprucing up. Breakfast is the elaborate and as expected of all 5 star hotels. Patong us about a 20 min drive from the hotel, so easily accessible. There is also a hotel shuttle in the evenings to Patong. All in all, I will be back here again and again, I love the laid back feel to the place.…
We have stayed 5 days in Bhuri wing and 5 days in Thani wings. The room were grand deluxe and junior suite. The grand deluxe is great with families and have nice pool play area and kids club. Please note that all restaurants and massages are at Thani wing. There is a buggy services from Thani to Bhuri if walking isn’t your thing. Thai restaurant Chanadda is one of the finest Thai dining and serving best Thai food we have ever had with beautiful and friendly staff. We had all lunches at fisherman’s wharf who serve the best all type of food with awesome location and best staff. The La scala has reminded us the authentic Italian food we usually have in Melbourne’s finest Italian.Everything was perfect and served fresh and with best presentation.Even our kids were looked after really well with their choices of food. The breakfast has plenty of choices and serving all type of food. The fresh fruits, bread, pancakes etc was perfect and even staff was very attentive and looked after all guests. They even remember your preferred breakfast options. The beach club and coconut bar was serving beautiful cocktails and drinks. The friendly staff at beach club bar has made us feel welcome all time. We got the package from luxury escape and had so many inclusions.Value for money with all luxurious inclusions. Thank you for having us Katathani again! Will come soon.…
I stayed in this hotel with my family, We enjoyed it, the kids love the water park and kid pool as well as the kids club. The breakfast buffet has various choices... We will go back for sure. Thanks to the bellman they are friendly and helpful.. the breakfast staff are also nice and helpful even if they are busy with a lot of guests. Thank you
First time visit here, and I was impressed by the hotel. It’s beautifully designed, encompassing the long white beach in front of the hotel. Also Lots of pools, bars and restaurants along the seafront to choose from, so it doesn’t matter where you stay, you won’t have to go too far to find what you need. A much quieter location than most, but that can also be a good thing. I had the ground seafront room and it was super convenient- and again, very beautifully decorated inside. Everything you need. They also have mini Mary’s and restaurants nearby if you want to eat local- so you do have options. Breakfast is huge with so many options - it will absolutely have something you are looking for. Great hotel - I look forward to returning.
an old, unmeintained hotel. the hole area is all belongs to them so not much to offer. also not leting you use bold for booking taxi. the sea in this season is un colm and not sheltered , the pool is old locals hotel.....
Great stay, food fabulous, staff excellent, pity weather was not the best but still managed to swim in the pool. (Adults only) . Beach was very rough. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Coconut bar staff great. Overall wonderful.
This is our 5th trip to Katathani, (6th to Phuket) and yet again the people at Katathani have excelled themselves and provided exceptional service. The hotel is looking a little tired (as expected following Covid), but the service from the people has not faltered. The restaurants are still outstanding, serving excellent food, the pool bars are just the same with pool butlers delivering every drink and plate of food to you poolside. Service from the staff in all teams, restaurant, bars, reception, housekeeping, engineering, taxi, security and client relationship was fantastic! A few special mentions to Tanit, Sombat, Nittiya, Juminien, Paisan, Chart and Pla. Thank you!
This hotel is amazing! It has many amenities, including multiple pools, bars, and restaurants. Most importantly, it is a beachfront hotel right on Kata Noi Beach. We had a wonderful room in building 2 on the highest floor (3rd floor) with a large balcony looking out onto the sea. Our room was spacious, clean, and very well air-conditioned! The bathroom was wonderful with a shower/rainfall head option and separate tub. We tried out the Thai restaurant and Seafood restaurant which had amazing food! The restaurants and bars also mix very well-balanced drinks. I always hate it when they over-sweeten cocktails, but these were done correctly with the right balance. Definitely order the coconut punch and pineapple passion cocktails which actually come in a coconut and pineapple! We tried one of the non-hotel restaurants across the street which also had good food (though, not as fancy), but the cocktails were horrible (way too sweet with little alcohol). The private restaurants are a bit cheaper, but I would personally stick to the hotel’s restaurants. Also, make sure to hit up the 7/11 to stock up on some beer and other drinks in your room’s mini-fridge. I am so happy this hotel does not stuff the mini-fridge with their own alcoholic beverages for purchase. I have to designate a whole paragraph to breakfast which is included in your room price. The breakfast they serve at this hotel is absolutely amazing! Between visiting, Mexico, Caribbean, Europe, and Mediterranean hotels, Katathani hands down had the best breakfast I ever experienced in all my travels. They have an omelet station, various other egg preparations, delicious bacon, potatoes, ham, salami, breads, yogurts, fruits, etc. The croissants are the best I have ever eaten in my entire life! The cubed gouda cheese and other cheese were so soft and fresh. Lots of coffee and tea options. Lots of infused waters, rose water, orange juice, guava juice, pineapple juice, etc. I can go on and on of how incredible this place does with serving breakfast. Because it’s included, fill up for the day and then just have dinner in the evening. The only downside to visiting in May is that it’s formally the rainy season and the waves in the sea were quite rough. Three out of the five days were red flags for no swimming. Also, there was a significant amount of trash that would accumulate on the beach from the sea. The staff tried their best to clean the beach multiple times per day, but it was difficult to keep up. I believe this trash issue is a seasonal thing so you may not have this issue in other months. I highly recommend this hotel!…
