Great environment with highly service minded staff. We enjoyed every minute and day of our 2 weeks stay at this resort. The daily breakfast has a wide variety of Western and Asian food with egg station. There are plenty of pools in the whole resort, a great gym and a library with daily newspapers. Parking is free and walking access to the Kata Noi beach is just steps away. We have daily treats from the kitchen in the afternoon and great discount at happy hour from 6 to 7 pm at the bar daily. This resort is magical and feels like a paradise in Phuket. The staff from office management, kitchen, security to housekeeping, maintenance is friendly and very customer focused. A highly recommended resort.

What a wonderful experience !Arrived home a few days ago after having spent 8 nights in a Beach Wing Suite at the Mom Tri's Villa Royale. I had been corresponding with Sao for a couple of months previous to my stay. She was very quick to respond in great detail to every question I had. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning. Lush green tropical plants everywhere you look, palm trees ,fish ponds and a beautiful view of the ocean from the pools, reception, restaurant and the room. Although the room is in a low rise building comprised of 2 floors you get the feeling you are in your own private villa. Huge living and sleeping area with a gigantic bed facing the balcony overlooking the sea. Very quick walk down stairs directly from your balcony to a path leading to the beach. Was wonderful to hear the sound of the waves crashing from the balcony and room. Lovely big bathroom with first class toiletries(purchased some bottles to take home). Not the usual mini sized bottles.Lovely fluffy bathrobe and padded slippers. The staff were top notch.I had wonderful service from everyone and would like to give a special mention to Pong who greeted me every morning at breakfast with a huge smile, knew me by name, remembered how I like my coffee , freshly made smoothie(Pineapple and Ginger) and eggs or pancakes and would bring over a freshly cubed whole mango.Totally spoiled me. Also had wonderful service from Tam at dinner time at the fantastic Mom Tri's Kitchen. The food was amazing. I had originally intended to eat there once or twice but ended up going 5 or 6 times as the menu was so extensive. Everything I had was so tasty and beautifully presented. Really sorry I didn't order the duck twice. Will have to go back. Loved it. And the views from the restaurant and suite are to die for. You feel as if you are onboard a ship. So close to the waves crashing over the rocks . Most mornings I would wander down to breakfast and my room would be ready by the time I got back. One morning they were still cleaning when I got back so I told them no rush. I will come back later. I sat near one of the pools and after 5 minutes they took the trouble to come and find me to let me know the room is ready. They really go the extra mile. There are 3 swimming pools in the hotel grounds and as I was there in low season had the salt water infinity pool to my self on many occasions. Nothing like sipping on a Pina Colada inside the pool, overlooking the beach and under the shade of a coconut tree. Weather was great 98% of the time.(Stayed for 8 nights from 26th August).Rained for about an hour and a half very early in the morning on 2 occasions and once while I was in the pool:-). What can I add....a perfect perfect place to go if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, beautiful views, excellent food and top notch service. You will not regret it. I spoke to a couple there who were there for 9 nights and decided to extend for a further 6 nights so I guess that say's it all. Thank you once again Sao,Pong,Tam and all the staff for the wonderful service

I stayed at Mom Tri Villas for a two separate vacations in 2022 and can tell you the entire experience was incredible! a. Resort Location- Mom Tri sits right at the edge of Kata Noi beach in the literal sense. If you want to be right on the sea for views and ocean sounds, this is the place to stay 1000%. Even with a short walk outside the resort down the hill, you’re close to Kata beach, convenient stores, ATM machines, great massage spas, clothing shops, bars & restaurants. You can stay at Mom Tri and literally have everything you need at the resort as well as in walking distance b. Architecture & Landscape- The architectural character is a blend of traditional Thai design with modern amenities. Each room and suite is unique and have many special bespoke features and views. The grounds of the resort are filled with various accessible levels with a lush variety of landscape species. Everywhere you walk you have surprises and special areas adding to every step of your experience. There is a beautiful resort pathway right at the sea edge for views and an easy 2min access to Kata Noi beach. The beach is public, but rarely has a lot of people which makes the beach experience very private (For more people, surfing lessons and bars, just head down the hill to Kata Beach for a bigger and more active beach) c. Views- You have incredible views of the Kata Noi Beach and sea from each room including the pools, bar and dinning facilities. The salt pool is an incredible feature as it has natural sea water, an infinity edge and only 2-3 meters from the sea level below. The salt pool is bigger an deeper than it looks , which only adds to the experience… especially the sunset and night views. d. Rooms- I stayed in a total of 4 different suites types on my trips. Make sure to get any of the large suites as some even have private pools. The pictures on their web site are accurate, but in-person, the rooms are a lot larger and more beautiful than you expect. When you get there, ask them to also show you other suites. It can help you see what the resort offers. You can easily move/upgrade to another room if it’s available. The soaps, shower gels, linen, towels etc. are all 5 star quality. e. Food- Mom Tri’s kitchen is world famous for unique Thai cuisine. There are many things that they have and can make that are not on the menu so just ask and they can usually accommodate you. The bar is also great with a variety of spirits and wines from around the world. f. Staff- they treat you like family. They are very friendly and remember all your requests. Anything you need they can assist with including rides to other locations, sites, etc.. They really take care of you and make sure your stay is perfect in every way. You will come back to your room and find cakes and cookies on your table waiting for you. Mom Tri is the best resort I have ever stayed in when I compare the design, layout, amenities, views, views, staff, etc. of other resorts in Thailand as well as other countries. I highly recommend you stay at Mom-tri Villas and you will definitely return many times. I’ve stayed there on two separate vacations for 3 weeks and each trip was more amazing than the previous. It’s an incredible place and the staff work very hard to make your tip more than a vacation… they make a lasting experience and to become part of their resort family… welcoming you anytime you come back. You’ll love it! - JRB

Sadly our last night at the amazing Mom Tri Villa Royale in Kata. The Kitchen again didn't disappoint. Alas the main was attacked before I remembered to take a pic. The lobster souffle cooked in the shell was indescribable. I've not found anywhere else you can have dinner this close to the crashing waves. If you are in Phuket, this hotel and restaurant is worth the drive. #mom_tri_villa

My husband and I travel many times to Phuket, because my husband is from Thailand. We booked to stay 15 nights with Boathouse in Kata Beach, however they ended up closing for repairs during the time of our booking, and instead booked us with Mom Tri’s. Mom Tri’s is a hotel experience like none other, and is easily the best hotel we’ve stayed in during many trips to Phuket. The views of Kata Noi, one of the nicest and quietest beaches in Phuket, were spectacular. We stayed in both a beach wing suite and an ocean wing suite. The attention to detail from the decor of the traditional Thai elements, to the turn down service, to the pool side food/drink service were all top notch. The best part of our stay at Mom Tri’s was the service. Every staff member were kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. Our breakfast servers were kind and always remembered our coffee orders, and the housekeeping service was exceptional. Our stay in the magnificent ocean wing suite came with an attendant service. Sae and Ton were our attendants and they were outstanding. They attended to our every need with the greatest of care, and even made our friends feel welcome when they came to visit us. They were so kind and attentive I was sad to leave them because they made us feel so at home. When we told our local friends we were staying at Mom Tri’s, every single of them told us Mom Tri’s is known as the best in Phuket. We know understand why!

We had a beautiful meal celebrating our anniversary. The setting is amazing and the food and service was very good. Well worth a visit. Good selection of food and wine. It looks like a fabulous place to stay also. The waves are crashing just below you. It really was unique.

What got my husband and I to go for dinner on our last night here was that the amazing view and food as reviewed. We were quiet excited and was looking forward to it. We didn't have any reservation as we decided to have an early dinner, and got there about 5-ish. I guess we were early, as we noted that the staffs were not wearing any masks. And as we were ushered in and we saw a few more patrons having drinks there already. The next thing we noticed was that, we were not greeted kindly nor warmly and the absence of nice inviting smiles that you are usually greeted with here at any restaurants were absent. And it went on the whole evening!!! None of the staff were friendly and NO ONE smiled!!! Masks were finally on around 6 when more people arrived. We ordered the seafood for 2 as recommended by the raving reviews on them. Food came and sitting in front of the view, was it for us. For well seasoned travelers like ourselves, the food as OK. As they served us throughout the evening, each person that came to our table, none smiled almost with begrudging arrogant attitude that continued throughout the evening. Even with masks on, you might not be able to see anyone smiling but you can from their eyes and the tone of their voice. When we finished our meals we decided we had enough of their attitude and left quickly, very disappointed. Thai people are well known for their kind, polite nature but clearly it was not the case for this restaurant.

We stayed for a week in late March 2022, generally we enjoyed our stay. Boutique style hotel, chiselled into a rocky hillside. Great views from the rooms, pool decks, bar and restaurant which were the highlights. Really low occupancy when we were there, hopefully this will pick-up for the benefit of all. The hotel is a 10-minute challenging walk from kata or kata noi, there’s a path down to the beach where you can rent sun loungers. Not much of note in kata noi for us, in kata we had nice food at the boathouse, two chef’s, kata on fire and food market, Our room was a beach suite.. amazing view, lovely bed. Bathroom could do with modernising. No tissue in the toilet rule felt less than luxurious. There are some nice small sun deck areas, not sure how this would work when the hotel would be busy. Patchy drinking water availability around the pools …. Before 10:30.. sorry the guy is working breakfast…. If you could find someone it was possible to order stuff on the deck and it came with a smile. Food was nice.. one complaint - the menu didn’t change and it was the same menu for dinner and lunch with food that didn’t really work in the sun. They tried to make me a Ham and Cheese sandwich (thanks) with un-appealing results. After four Caesar Salad’s on the run for my wife, we ended up ordering-in lunch food via the grab app for better choice and to avoid the hassle of walking out in the heat. Rightsized gym, good equipment, smelled of mould, no gym towels, no water.. ok you could work around that. Some kind service in particular Khun Pong who brought balm to tend to my wife’s ant bite. Generally felt like the hotel was out-of-practice with having guests. Our stay was still nice.

This is our second visit. The best thing about this hotel are its landscape which is on the little stone hill located between Kata and Kata noi beach. We stayed for a week in beach villa number 4 and number 2. While room 2 gave us the better feelings of comfort and cosiness, room 4 offered the best view EVER because you can see the beach (Kata) and the ocean outward. The staffs at the hotel are also one of the best assets with great hospitality and genuine kindness. We have been traveling heavily in Phuket and staying at many 4 to 6 stars hotels. By far, the Mom’s tri royal villa is our best favorite hotel. We would definitelycome back :) Special thanks to K Sao for looking after us throughout the stay with her true Thai friendliness and courtesy.

My wife & I recently enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing five night stay at Mom Tri's Villa Royale, our fourth time staying at the property, but the first since October 2012 (our other stays were in late December 2006/early January 2007, and April 2011. Prior to first staying at Villa Royale, we stayed at Mom Tri's Boathouse in October 2001, so my wife & I know what we have to look forward to after we've booked our stays at Mom Tri's. Having first dined at Mom Tri's Kitchen at Villa Royale during our stay at Mom Tri's Boathouse in October 2001, my wife & I both know the variety, freshness, and quality of the food on offer at Villa Royale, and it was as good (if not even better) than we remembered during our most recent stay at Mom Tri's Villa Royale (please see photos). There was only one negative (but not a "show-stopper"), which I advised management of Mom Tri's as follows: "We enjoyed our stay as much as every previous one, but to be honest, we found the high number of smokers (especially by the pools and pool bar) to be quite annoying this time, more so than on our previous stays." Would we return to Mom Tri’s for a fifth stay if we are fortunate enough to be able to do so…? “Absolutely, definitely, certainly” (but hopefully with much less smoking being allowed, tolerated, and permitted in so many public areas of the property). Each of our four stays have been consistently good, with the highlight every single time being the service: warm, friendly, and genuine, making us feel like welcome and valued guests with each and every single engagement with a team member, be it breakfast, lunch, happy hour, or dinner. Numerous team members (with many being long-serving employees of Mom Tri, which leads to the consistency we've experienced throughout the years) provided excellent and very attentive service to us throughout our stay. Thank you very much to everyone at Mom Tri's who looked after my wife & me as very well as you did, with special thanks going Khun Thep, Khun Pong, and Khun Sae.
