“Excellent base for Tuscani with great food, pool, gardens and it's own chianti” We were with our daughter and 2 year old granddaughter and as such were extremely well looked after the pool especially good as it has a large flat shallow area for little ones. The family owners just did everything for us and more and as the hotel/farm...

We spent five splendid days at Agriturismo Montalto. The location just only 35 minutes from airport and within easy reach of the important cities of Tuscany make it a perfect place to stay. The hosts Cinzia and Alessandro were wonderful and helpful . This, being our third visit to Tuscany , added to our returning there another time.

We had a great week's stay here in September. It's well placed for the delights of north Tuscany and not too far from Siena etc. As others have said, it's got a great hilltop position surrounded by olives and vines, with a lovely view from the terrace and great sunsets too. Allesandro was a great host, ensuring that we had...

Stayed here for a week. Alessandro was a wonderful host, he was very helpful at dinner choosing wines and explaining where they and the wonderful meals were sourced from. All of them coming from on or around Montalto. The chef made us a super cold lunch when we stayed and enjoyed the lovely pool one day. The only thing I...

A great location, only 35 minutes drive from the airport and close to many of Tuscany's brilliant attractions. The terrace where meals were served had a marvellous view over the countryside and was very peaceful. The swimming pool was immaculate and in an attractive position amongst garden that gave privacy. Our room was very airy and comfortable with an anti-mosquito...

Plus: Nice view, nice pool, nice terrace and good food! Tips to improve: install air conditioning ( very difficult to sleep with day temp 40 C) and freshen Up bathrooms. Restaurant is very good but with a choice of 4 dishes per course there's not a very wide choice of you stay 4 nights like we did. Would return but...

The owners were very friendly and nice and they really made their best to make our stay a perfect one. The agroturismo is perfectly located for city trips because one can easily reach Pisa,...

We booked this Hotel based upon ist isolated and remote Location virtually in the middle of nowwhere but yet within minutes drive you are in several small towns. The roads leading up to this Little gem are going through grapevines, farms and nature. The Hotel is located on a small hilltop totally private and quiet with a fantastic view of...

Great spot between Pisa and Siena. Wonderful agriturismo with good chef and friendly owners. Room clean, but small. No WiFi-access in the room, which is a bit of a pity. Nonetheless recommended, mainly due to friendly staff.

“We were in the room "Montopoli" which had bunk beds, a double bed for us and plenty of space for the baby-crib (that Montalto provided). WiFi is only in the main lobby but we were lucky to have a strong signal in our particular room, which was nice. We also never heard anything from any of the other rooms, which was nice. I hope that the others that were there when we were can say the same as we were the ones with small children who often cried.”
