Quiet and calm B&B. we really enjoy our stay The room was beautiful and have a private washroom the host is so kind and helpful . He gave us recommandation of places to visit in the area The breakfast was verry good .
This place is really surrounded by nature and nothing more, thing that we liked so much. Our room at the first floor was all made by wood, it was bright, brand new and beautiful, with view on the hill. The bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. The owner was gentle and helped us with the luggage, ´cause the stairs are a little narrow. The breakfast was really good, with eggs cooked by the owner, cheese and bread, tea, jams. I also loved the big dog. It's a shame you can't bring food in there, because it would have be nice to enjoy lunch in our room, but I understand the owner, as everything is absolutely perfect and he doesn't want to ruin it. Maybe a little lack is a common space to listen to music, talk and have a tea. But these are details.Everything was really amazing.…
This B&B is well worth travelling out of Antigonish a bit to get to. The rooms are incredible and the hosts are so helpful. The drive out to it is beautiful and this was one of the highlights on our trip.
During our road trip through Nova Scotia we visited Antigonish and planned to stay at the Blue Tin Roof in nearby Livingston Cove. Victor, our host was gracious and offered a wealth of information regarding the area. We booked the Beach Room, which was a welcome retreat after a day of traveling; very cozy, clean and comfortable. We especially liked the large bathroom. The view, ambiance and great breakfast-we wish we could have stayed longer!
If you are in this part of the province, there are few places to stay and this place is a great find. Not far from a lovely lighthouse. Vic is a super hospitable host and he makes a great breakfast. We loved the decor of his home. Our only negative was that when we booked our room on booking.com we did not see that our room was in a daylight basement with just high small windows. However, it was a beautifully decorated room and just one night there, so it was fine. FYI There are three other rooms with full windows. It’s quiet, too, which was nice. If you’re in this area, I recommend it!
