This is a lovely accommodation! My room was quiet and comfortable with a patio door to an outdoor sitting area. The bathroom had a great claw foot tub with shower and the room overall was light and airy. Two very minor drawbacks though. ... there was no tissue in the room and I was surprised that there were no travel... More

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the quiet location and access to your covered patio. The separate antique tub and walk-in tiled shower is a feature of the Lake room that appeals to guests. We have made our rooms a little less cluttered, but do provide ample toilet tissue and shower gel for guests. Over the years we have... More

Luckily for their visitors, Vic and Nadine have opened their home to B&B guests looking for a secluded getaway. Even though we arrived late - probably many people do, as the location is quite isolated - Vic gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Our room (the Beach room) was on the main floor and... More

What a great experience. Victor is a lot of fun and very well read (ask him about the reason behind current world events and why they are happening). The home is EXCEPTIONALY clean and the breakfast is fresh and nutritious. They are on the 'Sunrise Trail' so there is a lot of unbelievable sights to see and enjoy...take your camera... More

We enjoyed 3 very peaceful nights here. Victor, the owner is probably the best B&B owner I have ever met. Gracious and always ready to help. Nice breakfast. The view of the valley and mountains goes on forever, especially from the Lake Room which we stayed in. Our room had everything and was meticulously clean. Highly recommend.

Wow. The place is easy to get to, the owners are very attentive and the location is serene and beautiful. I didn't spend a lot of time outside (a bit nippy in the winter) but I imagine hanging on the back porch would be great. The location is beautiful, close to several beaches and areas right on the water. The... More

My partner and I were traveling in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and this was the nicest B&B we stayed at, and the most impeccably decorated. We arrived early evening and were greeted in front, welcome and given the grand tour. At the hosts' encouragement, we went down to the water (10-15 minute walk), and then headed into Antigonish to... We spent one night, the house was quiet and the breakfast was nothing over the top but delicious. The house itself is amazing. We unfortunately did not have the time to kayak but the option was there which was nice. The only downfall is no restaurants being close have to drive into antigonish.

This review is long overdue, Victor and his wife are some of the most gracious hosts. The stay was restful, the home was charming and the experience was incomparable. We will return again and have been inspired to the simple lifestyle and joy found from our time at the Blue tin roof. My husband and I went on a walk... More

really nice and healthy breakfast choices. cute rooms and great patio area. the owners make a fridge available and have filtered water for your pleasure. nice to meet them and hear their story of how they got there, also nice that they don't have a 2 minimum because we would have never found out about it

We stayed in the Blue tin roof b&b on our way from cape breton to PEI. It is a very scenic route to get there, we even saw a fox and a deer. No restaurants on the way so we had dinner in Antigonish (mother Webbs, nice ribs). The b&b is in the most beautiful spot overlooking the forest. At... More
