Such a wonderful place to stay in. Lodges are very basic with riverwater to wash in: so do not wash your teeth unless using fresh water !! Food was very good and interesting to try various things on offer - plenty of gorgeous fruit. Herman was our guide for the three days and was so knowledgeable and great fun to...

Juma Lodge is a magical place. Don't expect the highest luxury. It,s an Ecolodge. Sustainable . Solar powered. When it's cloudy for more than a day the showers are cold. but because of the general high temps this is no problem. Guides are excellent, know everything, speak English and other languages. Tree. Climbing was a great experience thanks to the...

Our family stayed at the lodge for 4 days during the dry season. The lodge itself is beautifully situated on a 'lake' with a viewing platform and hammocks to relax in. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and go a long way in making sure that every need is met. The food is outstanding and they make a great...

The hotel is located around 3 hrs from manaus at the juma river (black water river...less mosquitoes and less animals). The transport until the hotel is great... good timings... friendly staff and great views... i went on the dry season (river is low... more steps to climb before you arrive at reception or your cabin) but the experience was great.......

Great place to stay! We spend 3 nights there and would recommend to stay at least one day longer. It is in the middle of the jungle and the lodges are very nice, comfortable and clean. The food was always delicious, fresh and diversified. Staff is great and they really try (and also succeed) to make the stay unforgettable.

My 3 teenagers and I spent 5 days a Juma Lodge before heading to the Olympics. Juma Lodge fit the vision of what I hoped for. The rooms are first class with great views over the river. We were greeted by monkeys in front of our dining hall. The absolute best thing is the guides. They make groups of 10...

We spent 3 nights at Juma Jungle Lodge. We were picked up from our hotel in Manaus in the morning and taken to the river taxi where we met our guide. We crossed the river by boat, stopping to observe the meeting of the waters on the way. On the other side of the river we were meet by a...

My husband and I had an amazing time at Juma Lodge. While it is hard to add more on top of the already great reviews here, the below is what we loved so much about this resort. Note: We were there for 3 days 2 nights. 1) We arrived in Manaus the night before the first day at the lodge....

The lodge takes some effort to get to, but is well worth it. The isolation makes it perfect for relaxing and experiencing nature at its best. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable in the flora and animals of the rainforest. We enjoyed the daily activities and meals. We highly recommend this experience for every adventurous person.

What a place to visit. In the middle of the Amazon away from 21st century living for a few days and back to nature. We were so well looked after by all the staff and they were all so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a great itinerary and covered so many different experiences. From being...
