So to start make sure you know what you want in a Amazon Experience. This Lodge has lots of great guides and excursions into the Amazon. This Lodge does not have A/C or WiFi, also through out Brazil you are not to flush any form of paper, so as being from the US that was new to us (you will... More

The rooms at Juma Lodge are on stilts and decorated as if you were a local. The food is excellent and our guide -- was as authentic as they come. Days are nice and laid back. You start the morning with breakfast and then an excursion that may include canoeing, exploring the nearby Amazon jungle or fishing for piranhas. You... More

Excellent resort with a view to be ecologically sustainable. You will be given a guide that will follow your group through the program that is dependent on the number of days you stay. The rooms we have been were very comfortable with a large bed and a single bed, plus a balcony with hammock on the river. The limitations are... More

We just had the amazing experience. Spent 4 days and it was one of those moments we wished it would never end. The lodges were simple but very appropriate for the environment, and wonderful view of the river. The people were wonderful, friendly and very receptive. Our guide, Marcio, was very attentive and good spirits. Sonia, the manager, was very... More

Lovely place with friendly guides. Good food! Clean rooms and bathrooms. Don't have internet and tv, but you will not need! During the day you can participate of some activities. Don't forget to see the sunset! Specially from the boat! There, you can find some animals, like: funny monkeys, alligators and a beautiful Macaw.

There is not much more you can expect from a Lodge in Amazon. It's remote, but doesn't lack quality hotel services. Employees are super friendly and thanks to small size treat everyone very personally. Transport was perfectly organized, fast clean and always perfectly on time. Rooms (river ones) are clean, ventilated, well protected from inects, cleaned every day. Mosquitos are... More

We stayed here as a young couple at the end of March 2016. We had high hopes as we paid over £700 for 3 nights/2 full days. We wish we hadn't. The times are very prompt so that is a positive, we were picked up from the hotel at 7am as warned and made our onward journey. This took 3-4... More

The best ever, there was no internet, televisions or air conditioning but the disconnect from the outside world was amazing. Our group went canoeing, hiking fishing and animal exploring over our 4 day lodge experience. The food was above average and the accommodations were primitive but your tour guide can make or break your experience. Our tour guide was Herman... More

We stayed for three nights in the lodge and it was an amazing experience. Our guide Chico (Francisco) told us so much about the jungle and took very good care of us. We did two jungle hikes, piranha fishing, canoeing and a sunrise boat trip. The rooms (we had a chalet) a very clean, an we had always hot water.... More

We spent 2 nights at the Juma Amazon Lodge and loved it. We had our own little caseta on legs right on the river. The lodge is quite big and was busy during our stay but it was easy to feel remote especially when we were taken out to the rainforest. The only way in is by boat, actually van,... More
