A spacious and well equipped appartment with a lovely terrace to enjoy our meals and the beautiful view. Each room is tastefully decorated and the shutters keep the rooms cool during the day. We had everything we needed - shower worked very well, drying rack for all the wet swimming gear, good sized cooking pans and importantly for the children, the surprise of great wifi and a Tv which we were not expecting. The appartment is perfectly located near the cami de cavallo walking route to gorgeous coves with incredibly blue water and pine fringed cliffs. Snorkelling is fabulous and it is easy to park the hire car nearby so it means we can explore the island easily. Everyone is friendly and we are really enjoying our stay here in Menorca. Muchas gracias.

Since I often inform myself by reading user reviews here I am happy to leave a review myself. But I don’t want to repeat others because mainly I found true at Alta Galdana what others wrote. So, read their reviews and make up your mind. Depending on what class of apartment you are looking for I can sincerely recommend Alta Galdana. The apartments offer all what you really need, their adjacent terraces (sometimes with spectacular views) give you space to relax. The management (in person of Mireia) is very friendly and very helpful if you have questions. And the on-site restaurant Sa Lluna is a very good one (offerings from pizza to menus with some local food). Cala Galdana gives you nice access to neighbouring calas (which I liked to walk in – 30-60 minutes one way). And Cala Galdana is a typical and relaxed holiday village. Sometimes beaches were a bit too crowded (even in September), but on the other hand the beaches were just marvelous. So, definitely Cala Galdana and the apartments Alta Galdana are worth a visit.…

These apartmemts are centrally located and minutes away from the bars/restaurants and beaches. Basic apartment but with everything you need....you get what you pay for. £230 for one week stay, you cant be bad to that! Large double room and twin room, bathroom and kitchen/dining area with sofa. Kettle, toaster, frisge, coffee machine and all utensils for making breakfast and lunch. Clean and tidy. There is no room service and you have to buy your own toilet paper once you use what you have been left. The apartments are set on a hill with quite a few steps so probbaly not ideal for those who struggle with hills/steps. On booking, I asked for a beach view and it did not disappoint. Every morning, we opened our window to the most amazing view of Cala Galdana and beyond. We paid a little extra to keep our room on, on the day of departure and this was no hassle at all! This was our first visit to Cala Galdana so we were unsure what to do, where to eat etc but we quickly found our way. Sa Lluna right beside the apartments, is amazing. Staff are brilliant, so friendly and food is excellent. Pata Negra across the road is nice for wine and cheese/meats. Delit opposite is also amazing. Samuel and his brother are so welcoming and the food is delicious. Do not walk past Alaska...you must try their Tapas! The best tapas Ive ever had! Sescopinya on the corner is brilliant for breakfast and curries! Xavi is the friendliest waiter and always smiling. Blanc i Negra is a great sportsbar for watching football etc and having a drink pre/post dinner. Tobogan is fab for families with slides, pools and the best little chairs on the grass to enjoy an evening vino! The beach is simply stunning but if you want to see more, you must do the Cami Cavalls trek. We walked to Cala Macarella and beyond to Cala Macarelleta. About 30 minutes walk, where you will find the Cafe Susy for refreshments before walking round the cliff edge to the most stunning clear blue/turquiose waters Ive ever seen! We also did the Amigos Boat trip at 3pm, which takes you to Cala Mijana where you can jump off to enjoy the beach or stay on the boat and do the slide or simply chill! Worth the 23 euro. All in all, a fantastic stay in Cala Galdana. Our first stay and we will definitely return. Such a clean, tidy and friendly island in general. Quieter than other Spanish resorts but thats why we liked it! No hooligans or hen/stag parties, crowds of party goers! Family friendly and good for couples.…

We arrived late on Easter Friday. The restaurant was busy when we got here, but we just went straight to our apartment. The reception had a list on the door of which apartment we were in. They leave it unlocked for you. Many stairs! I walk with a walking stick, so find stairs a challenge. Certainly getting my exercise this week! I have to say though, that I would come here again. Lovely little apartment, for half the price I would have paid for a caravan in the UK. Fantastic value for money!

We love Cala Galdana Menorca, Appartments are well run ,clean and well appointed.close to the beautiful beach. We go every May and October, weather is usually great 25 deg on average. Plenty of bars and restaurants but no night clubs,so no drunkeness. Fabulous

We have been here for nearly a week now. Situated within a 5 min walk to the centre. The apartments are comfortable and homely . There is a really good restaurant within the complex and a pool area too. If you want to see the whole island I would recommend hiring a car. That said the beach is beautiful and you could easily enjoy a chilled out, relaxing holiday here

Friendly welcome at these nice wee apartments. Basic but clean. Comfy beds, great shower and fab view of the beautiful bay. 5 mins walk to beach, 2 mins to restaurants and shops. These apartments share a pool with pizza restaurant, staff are friendly and food lovely. Lots of steps so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Had to sweep our terrace every morning as the numerous bugs from surrounding vegetation would attempt to enter apartment but quite easily dealt with. No designated parking which was a bit of a pain, even out of season! Really enjoyed stay tho and would definitely recommend.

Have stayed in these apartments for many years now and have always been happy with our apartment. Yes they are basic but they are clean and tidy and in a lovely position, our apartment was on the top floor with lovely views over the bay, the pool is lovely, plenty of sun loungers and with Sa Llunna (the restaurant) next to the pool there is always foood and drink at hand. It is an ideal place for families, the pool has a childrens area and all apartments have two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen area which has a microwave,fridge, kettle etc , you can also hire a safe (additional cost) would like to say a big thank you to Ana in reception who was very helpful during our stay will certainly be returning next year.

We had a short stay in these apartments and we were more than happy. Greeted by friendly Anna who showed us to the room. They are a good size with proper sized bedrooms and living room. They have excellent facilities all in very very good condition, eg coffee machine, kettle, toaster. If not brand new, not far off. The shower was great! Strange to mention, but it was. Water hot and good pressure. Sheets and pillows good quality. Towels fluffy. We were lucky as we had a great view and a little terrace. We didn’t use the pool but it was a good size and clean and the restaurant seemed to have a good atmosphere and menu. Lots of steps so not for the less mobile, although they probably have apts on lower floors. Don’t know. Great little Holiday and Alta Galdana did the trick...

We had a weeks stay in these apartments in September. All of the reviews warned about the steps but once in our apartment we were very comfortable. It was spacious and well equipped and we had a private roof terrace with fabulous views of the bay. Mireia in reception could not have been more helpful and she went out of her way to inform us about the island and how to access public transport.
