Having travelled for many years for both business & pleasure and visited 100's of hôtels in that time, I can only say that our recent stay at the Museum Hotel George Molfetas was a truely unique experience! From the moment you step through the gate into the flowered courtyard, there is an overwhelming feeling of peace and tranquility which is... More

This is not just a hotel. It is like coming home. The owner makes you feel very welcome. She would do anything to make you as comfortable as possible. Her stories about the hotel are almost heroic. She makes running a hotel to an Art. It feels so peaceful and the decoration is absolutely wonderful! Many vintage wonders, but with... More

I write this sitting in a tranquil courtyard with birds singing and no noisy traffic just pure peace. Our hosts can not do enough to make this a holiday to remember . A place for spiritual healing. It's like home from home with two of the most endearing dogs you will ever meet ( my husbands taking them for a... More

Been here during summer, but is another sensation while Christmas are here. You have to live this. Very warm place, friendly and helpful people and the owner can grant you all your wishes...Food in the restaurant is also wonderful and the tingle of taste is something you will remember for a long time.

I was happily surprise to see your reviews already in Trip Advisor. I am still under the magic of your lovely spirits that filled my "home" for the past few days. I wish you all the best for the coming year and I hope I will see you again sometime soon with more of your good humor and kindness so... More

I can only reiterate what others have already said.We visited seven years' ago, were the first english people to stay here and always said we would return. And now we have! The plants and shrubs in the courtyard are now mature providing a delightful canopy of green and shade as soon as you enter. The wisteria and jasmine must release a... More

It's almost impossible to describe the experience that is Hotel George Molfetas, because in so many ways it completely defies description. From the moment you cross the threshold you experience complete hospitality in every possible meaning of the word. Katerina and Barry welcome you into their home and hearts, providing unimaginably stunning and imaginative food alongside captivating and thought-provoking conversation.... More

I found out the said hotel when I was googling for accommodation in Kephalonia for our hoilidays. Although we did not book it initially, during our stay on the island we decided to change our plans for one night and stay at the Museum Hotel George Molfetas as it seemed very interesting and unique experience. Indeed, the Hotel is one... More

I can only confirm all the excellent reviews of this small boutique hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed at the villa for 5 nights / 6 days in mid-August and had a great time. Our experience exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for an escape from the hectic city life and the office calendar, this is definitely the place for... More

We booked our stay having read the amazing reviews on Tripadvisor - and they are all true! This place is really something special. It seems wrong to call it a hotel; it is more like staying with old friends. Katerina is an amazing woman, warm, welcoming, and an incredible cook, but also well travelled, well read, and a great conversationalist.... More
