An attractive building well situated 30 minutes drive from Calais. The meal was competent if not particularly memorable. The rooms had character disguising, to some extent, a slightly tired decor. Not sure I would rush to return though

We stayed here as a stopover off the ferry, before driving down to Paris. It would be worth the trip just to come to this hotel! An absolute gem. It was about a 20 minute drive from Calais in the countryside. We booked a 'large suite' which did exactly what it said on the tin, we were in a converted... More

We stayed here on the first night of our drive down through France In September. The hotel has loads of character and the food is very good. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. There is a lovely big courtyard furnished with some tables and chairs which makes an excellent place for a pre-dinner drink. Highly recommended.

Conveniently close to the Channel Tunnel, to Calais, and to Boulogne-sur-Mer, La Ferme du Vert is a first rate place to stay on the first or last night of one's holiday if one is travelling to or from the UK. Lovely large rooms, luxurious bathrooms and an excellent breakfast. Thoroughly recommended at ‎€116 B & B for two!

Delightful quiet hotel just outside the village. The building is charmingly olde worlde, the public rooms are both attractively decorated and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are warm, welcoming and well-equipped. Breakfasts are super, with home made yoghurt and jams alongside pastries and cold meats, plus super cheeses and butter from their own creamery, next door. The demi-pension dinner menus... More

We have stayed overnight here on three occasions now. While the location is very good, the staff helpful, the accommodation of a typical Logis standard (Premier Inn does French farm) and the food at both dinner and breakfast of a good standard; the restaurant is seriously stuck in a rut. The dinner menu never changes. Now that might be fine... More

We stayed in the grand suite of this beautiful hotel on our drive up to Calais. It's a great stopover but much more too. The setting is lovely, very peaceful. There is a nice restaurant (the cheeses are wonderful - do make a point of trying them) and service couldn't be faulted. It's a family owned place and that is... More

What a delightful place this is, and barely 6/7 miles from Boulogne-Sur-Mer (worth a detour - to avoid!) It is a working farm and out in the countryside, though you are well-reminded of all this during the night when (I guess) one of the silos or similar vents ..... cows and similar give off methane; fact of life :-) .There... We have been coming back to the Ferme du Vert off and on for 20 years. We have always loved staying here, it has retained all its charm and friendliness and the bedrooms have become more and more comfortable. The breakfast is délicious and dinner good but not exceptional. What is worth having is the sélection of cheeses made on... More

My wife and I enjoyed dinner, bed and breakfast here on Thursday 11th August as part of a "surprise" trip arranged by our son. It was lovely - comfortable bed, modern bathroom, tasty dinner (we had the €30 "menu de saison" with several wines) and good continental breakfast featuring local cheeses. I thought that the cost was very fair for... More
