Hotel's Favorite
I loved my stay here before and after attending a sacred plant dieta.
Marisol and Victor were INCREDIBLE. The dining room ladies were all amazing, the AC worked great, the food was great, and they were very accommodating with strict dieta food guidelines.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel in Pucallpa for only 3 days, but my short time there was truly wonderful. The staff were always extremely friendly and accommodating and they always went out of their way to make transport and dining as convenient as possible. The food was also extraordinary with their chefs, Chef Frances in particular, preparing a delicious ceviche dish that blew any other ceviche dish that I've had out of the water. The waiters were very skilled and accommodating with Jessy and Arnold always providing exemplary service. Additionally, the pool was always pristine and entertained us for hours as did ping pong and fusball. I would definitely recommend this outstanding hotel for anyone visiting Pucallpa or the Ucayali region.

+1
Once you enter, you feel like being in the Middle of the jungle. The sounds of all the surronding birds are just amazing, an incredible feeling when waking up. Owners and main manager Fidel offered an outstanding friendly hospitality which I have not experienced anywhere else. You can literally feel how much love they have put into this beautiful place. The rooms are nicely decorated and illuminated and perfectly clean. The restaurant with beautiful view to the pool and garden, have delicious meals for very reasonable prices. Overall, the best place to stay in Pucallpa area.
Thank you so much for this wonderful time 🙏

We had a wonderful time during our 4 day stay at Manish. From the pickup at the airport to final goodbyes, Manish really went out of their way to make our stay remarkable. The rooms and bungalows are well appointed and after a day in the heat were a welcome respite. The grounds were beautiful and well-maintained with lush vegetation, ample shade, and a very nice pool. The restaurant was a highlight with local takes on Peruvian classics - employees were always super helpful and accomodating. Due to COVID, their spa was closed but I can only imagine it is excellent given the level of service we experienced with everything else. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are exploring Pucallpa and adjacent areas!

Really disappointed because the other reviews are positive. It is a beautiful place, clean and close to the airport. However, the service was so bad! Too expensive for what you get because the service is non existent.
More of a place for families than solo guest or couples. NOT a good place to go to work or relax.
FOOD:
They are slow and sloppy and just don't care. I waited over an hour for water. Meals take nearly an hour to be served and they regularly forgot something, eg the sauce for my Caesar Salad, then taking 20 minutes to bring it. It was not like they were busy either, the staff can be heard laughing and joking in the kitchen. Food was ok. Bland. The breakfast was included and you get a choice but really it was nothing special, no flavours and no Peruvian flavours.
POOL
Nice little pool but basically a creche. It was so noisy with the kids splashing and screaming from dawn until dusk, not relaxing at all. There were more kids than adults and no regard for the other guests. I was working and I had to be confined to my room because of the noise and total disregard for other guests. In my down time i wanted to go to the pool but there were just wall to wall children. I like kids but this was awful and stressful having to doge being kicked in the face, smashed in the face by a ball or dive bombed!
INTERNET
2 days without internet. Impossible to work! When I went to talk to reception about it they just shrugged. No offer of when it would be fixed or compensation.
So disappointed in the service I can't tell you. I gave it a 1 because it is a beautiful place and would be fantastic of they cared about their customers.

The staff are all very freindly and herlpful, the food is great and the hammocks are wonderful. The location is great for getting into town, with the mall close by and motokar services if you want to go a little further afield are very reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.

I stayed at Manish after an ayahuasca retreat. The hotel was okay, but to be honest, I didn't really feel like I was at an eco-lodge. The hotel is located in the city but has plants and foliage to simulate a jungle-like environment. The staff doesn't really speak English, and during my stay, I was bitten by bedbugs on the bottoms of my legs. I asked to check out early and have my second night refunded, and the hotel staff did not want to do so as they said I had been drinking coffee in my room (there were no ants seen in the room, and there was no sugar in the coffee). The nice thing is that the hotel has AC, and the restaurant is decent, although the service there is quite slow (35-40 min for a main course to come out). I didn't really enjoy my time here to be honest, and wasn't pleased that the hotel wouldn't admit that there were bedbugs in my room, even though I was bitten badly all over my legs overnight.

Once you have tasted the Manish it's kind of hard to go anywhere else in Pucallpa. As we say between fiends, "why to change an habit when its a good one. Manish is gooood.". In the middle of an buzy and noisy city, the Manish is a little calm paradise where you find everything you need. Really good rooms or bungalows, restaurant, swing pool, spa with spectacular massages, gorgeous garden, gymnasium, children play ground, laundry service, storage for your belongings for months if needed. I can't think of one thing missing. It's easy meet beautiful new people, meet friends who like to stay there too, it's easy to be alone or social according to your mood or needs. The service is incredibly friendly and accommodating, the whole crew is impeccable, from the reception, to the restaurant, to the cleaning... They take care of the specificity of your diet with ease, help you in every way they can. Then there is Victor, the one we refer to as "the man who always smiles and says hi". In charge of the public, he is so genuine that you don't even realize that it is his job. He is this sweet and discreet and really make you feel at home, warmly welcome and welcome back as he remembers you. Really it's hard to even want to go out. Did I mention that I highly recommend it?

I currently live in Pucallpa and my first week in town with my family was spent at this hotel. The staff are wonderful and kind. The food is exceptional and some of the best in Peru. We now live nearby and frequent the hotel often to enjoy its' restaurant and to take a peaceful stroll around the grounds of the hotel where one can see many tropical plants. The hotel has great amenities such as the swimming pool, game area, workout area and sports field. The hotel also has a great area for meetings with latest technology needed to add the professional edge to presentations. Thanks friends at Manish for making our experience relaxing everytime.
