This hotel has been under exterior renovations for over a year. That is no excuse for how disgusting and foul the rooms at this hotel are. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is one of the cheapest name brand nightly rates for a reason. STAY AWAY.

Room felt very unclean and the door was very loose so anytime someone opened or closed a door nearby my door shook and made noise like someone was trying to open or knock on the door. The TV’s are very old and there are no chairs on the patio to enjoy the balcony. Only good things were the customer service and the breakfast. Very upset with this hyatt.

We had the ocean view room!! The view was amazing!! Just don’t look down….lol Almost every hotel in the area was under construction outside due to the last hurricane!! That didn’t stop us though we walked 3 miles on the beach!! Will definitely book here again!!

We had a great check in experience with Eric! He was very welcoming and informative. We loved the hotel and the location! The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of items to choose from!

Stay was lousy, rooms do not have a microwave, breakfast foods served just above room temp. Staff moved in front of guests waiting to get coffee, to get his own and two elevator inspectors coffee as well, then it was out, took 10 minutes to get coffee to drink. No chairs for outside room balcony. Light bulbs burned out in bathroom. Do not recommend, will not stay there in the future. Not worth the costs. No beach access from hotel, must drive to public beach access area.

Too many things to bake.. my main thing crusty sheets, duct taped showers and construction is still the backdrop.. They charge too much AND have the nerve to be called HYATT with sub par everything. No breakfast, barely any parking, and the absolute cheapest coffee maker in the room.. the water tastes funny so you'd better bring your own to brew anything and bring your own cream and sugar.. you could just say forget it and hit the local Wawa's like we did.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. The young lady doing check in was exceptional and very helpful and polite. The staff at this hotel are what make this hotel excellent. The hotel is undergoing renovation as are all hotels along the oceanside the received damage from the hurricanes. The beach is accessible nearby and even through the property adjoining the hotel. The room is large with an excellent view of the ocean. Generally, beach hotels I find to be "dirty", however all things considered this is an excellent choice hotel for visiting Daytona Beach!

Cleanliness of room was terrible upon check in and we had to be moved to another room. Only 2 elevators in entire bldg and they were very slow. Staff was also using elevator causing slow wait time for patrons

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place . The room was very clean and spacious . The staff was very nice and pleasant . The only issue was parking when returning from a night out , the art of riding around to secure you a spot was aggravating.
