Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. Our room was very large beautiful view. We had a kitchen, king bed, couch, huge bathroom, nice size balcony. They are updating the rooms and balconies so a little construction noise in the day but not bad. Savannah cleaned our room and did a great job. Breakfast was modified because of Covid but was still wonderful. I really don’t know what was missing, maybe eggs, bacon and sausage. They had plenty to choose from. We are going to go back soon. The happy hour was nice too.... a glass of wine after a fun day out.
It was nice to spend a couple of nights at the Bahama House even though there is a pandemic going on. The staff is doing a great job making sure everything stays sanitized. All of the staff are wearing masks and making sure everything is as safe as possible for their guests. Thank you
Was a wonderful stay. Overlooking beach was a plus quiet very clean rooms.A great view upstairs overlooking the surrounding area. Pool hot tub was exceptional clean towels where offered . The staff was helpful and where there when needed parking great . Was close to Main STreet walking distance which was also a plus couldnt hear any noise either.
The room's view was spectacular. Trying to get onto the balcony was a real fight, though, needing strength to cope with an old style steel door that required a lot of force to open. I was there during Eta. Although the room was noisy due to the gale force winds it didn't feel as if the large windows were at risk of leaking or failing. The air inside the room was very humid. The bed sheets seemed moist and even the tp seemed to be absorbing moisture from the air. When I tried the AC, water bubbled beneath a plastic shield that had been installed above it. I am not a fan of mildew and dirty AC so I did not use it much. There were signs posted about mask wearing that many guests ignored. Strangely, a partial buffet breakfast was served. If there are pancakes, why not toast? So I ate pancakes two mornings. The pancakes were not warm despite being offered in what one would assume was a warming dish. Butter did not melt on the pancakes, not even a little bit. The second day the juice machine was also off the grid. A posted sign said it was not working. There were some dry cereals and yogurt as well as bananas offered. Basically the room itself was average sized. The bathroom was small. There was a full sized refrigerator and a couple of burners as well as a microwave. The internet did not work very well even after the storm had passed.…
Wonderful stay. Great value. Friendly staff. Gorgeous view. The pool was clean and up to date. Nice hot tub. The continental breakfast and happy hour drinks were very appreciated. Very clean. Good location.
