When pulling up to the hotel, you will be greeted by gentlemen dressed in colonial attire. Walking into the lobby is very bright, airy & huge. There are many areas with sofas & chairs to sit & relax. There's a giant atrium with a unbelievable glass ceiling. There a rooms with balconies that overlook the atrium. There are several restaurants.... More

My husband came for a business trip, but we (wife and daughter) tagged along. First, the good: The room was great, the pool was awesome, and the housekeeping service was fabulous. The housekeepers that attended to our room were very courteous and understanding of our sleep-in schedule since we were traveling with an 18-mo old. The open Atrium had an... More

Pros: clean & comfortable Nice walking/shopping/Restuarant area Convenient to DC Stylish Cons: - room was about a mile from any elevator. - no late checkout. Checkout at 11 when conferences end noon to 1 -wanted to charge me $10 when I asked for a spoon to be sent to my room. -WAY TO PRICEY FIR WHAT YOU GET

I stayed here for three nights on a winter. Amenities and surroundings are fantastic for family and business. Since its winter, there aren't many useful things to do within and outside the complex. Price is pretty decent but it is far out of the DC area. There are many restaurants and pubs to choose from and for families, there are... More

PinoyMaverick, Thanks for your recent review of our hotel. I am happy to hear that you thought the amenities and surroundings were fantastic and that the price was fair. I also appreciate hearing your feedback from the situation caused by leaving an item in your room after check out. While we receive hundreds of items from around the hotel each... More

This is a large modern conference-centric hotel catering for events with 1000+ attendees. The rooms are a good size, pleasantly furnished and generally clean. There is no bar fridge. The air conditioning works very well. Beds are firm but comfortable. The linens and pillows are good. One issue I had in my twin double-bed room was that the bed I... More

This is probably a little bit unfair as my only reason for not liking this location is that it is outside DC. The only reason for me staying here is Sea/Air/Space exhibition (which is in the convention center). I am not interested in resort hotels and this is what this hotel is. The hotel itself is very good - nice,... More

I'm currently staying at the Gaylord national resort and would not recommend it to anyone. I'm staying on the 6th floor and came for an early night as I am presenting at a conference here tomorrow morning. However this is now impossible as the room adjacent to mine has been hired out for a corporate drinks event with the expected... More

Here with 600 contractors OVERLAPPED with 300 admirals and generals for air sea and space. Then 2100 twenty something's from tek it sourcing. All in all Marriott is starting to take over. 2000 rooms. 5am swimming pool is awesome. Not awesome are the -$40.00 burgers but harringtons sports bar is across the street with good prices big screens and cheap... More

I stayed here for a conference, and really enjoyed it. Our room was a bit small, and we didn't have a good view, but it was clean and well maintained. The place was huge, but easy to navigate once you got used to it. Nice exercise facilities, and we loved the atrium. We had an excellent experience here.

I recently stayed at the Gaylord for a conference and was very pleased. From the minute I got out of the shuttle until the time I left the hotel, the staff were superb. I had stayed at the Gaylord in Nashville and was not looking forward to this stay (as the Nashville property was just too large to fully enjoy;... More
