Seaview, a Dolce Hotel, is often lauded for its elegant ambiance, combining modern amenities with the charm of its original character. The hotel's golf courses and pools are a hit among guests, although some have pointed out maintenance issues. While rooms are typically celebrated for their spaciousness and cleanliness, there have been occasional reports of maintenance problems. The staff's friendliness is well noted, yet service can sometimes be inconsistent, particularly regarding meals. Despite the overall cleanliness being a strong point, some guests feel the hotel falls short on value, especially due to the pricey and underwhelming dining options.

First the pluses...very clean rooms and friendly service. However, too many negatives to justify the price. You can get a clean room and friendly service for a lot less at any 3 star chain hotel. First, the light switch near the door apparently isn't connected to anything. I needed to prop my suitcase to keep the door open so the hallway light gave me enough light to find the light switch near the bed. Second, the mini fridge was so loud it woke me in the middle of the night. At first I thought it was some sort of an alarm. Then realized it was just the fidge. I dont mind spending $110 offseason to spend less than 10 hours in the room but I expect to be able to sleep uninterrupted. Lastly, and this is a pet peeve of mine at a lot of hotels, they charge a $13 "service fee" for lobby service, pool, etc. Not an option. If I cant opt out of these "services", it should be part of the quoted price so I can accurately comparison shop. I dont remember anyone mentioning this fee. Its "only" $13 a night but its the principle of it.

Loved staying in the newly renovated rooms. There was much attention to detail in the room. Furniture and bath had modern, clean lines. The bed/pillows were like a cloud; super comfy with superior linens.
Sheets were soft and bed was covered with a beautiful white comforter/duvet. Staff was friendly. Check in and check out was fast and easy.

We stayed here last year and 2 years before that for a golf tournament, and I can say that it quite pleasant. The views of Atlantic City are beautiful, the exterior of the hotel has an amazing New England style to it, and the staff are wonderful. Because we stayed here in September, it was a little too cold for the outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was sublime! One thing I did notice was little extra charges and fees that popped up on checks for meals and purchases. A little sketchy if I say so myself. Also, the golf comes only at a small discount for resort guests, so you might as well not even stay to play. Overall, we had a nice trip and will be returning soon.

Stayed here for a night after attending my wife’s Coast Guard graduation ceremony. Property was stunning, staff were kind and efficient, room was awesome... cleanliness of the bed however, was that of a motel 6 due to the sheets being soiled with what looked very strikingly like bodily fluids. Ended up sleeping atop the blanket with the heat on so we wouldn’t be on the sheets, was very disappointing that one of the most important aspects of a luxury hotel was skimped out on. Would love to recommend the hotel for what it is and offers, but this big slip-up makes me lose all confidence and makes me wonder... are there are cleaninless issues in other area of the hotel like the kitchen, ice machines, or was just an isolated incident? If you are going to stay here though I would just be wary and be sure to check out the bed/linens once you go check into the room, rather than right before bed like we learned the hard way.

This is my first visit back since it was renovated under the auspices of the Dolce/Wyndham brand. The lobby and decor is very nice and the room we were in was obviously newly done. . We were told that the hotel is having difficulty finding housekeeping staff and that they had to turn people away because they couldn't clean rooms in time for the weekend. We did not get in until 4:30. We booked a junior studio suite but it was really just a king room - no sofa, no table, etc. The tv was there but you have to pay $20.00 to use the Chromecast or settle for basic channels. There was no bathrobe (maybe because of Covid?). The premium bath products consisted of a bar of soap so small we had to ask for extra, and 4 extra small 1 oz bottles of shampoo etc. The coffee maker was provided with 2 coffee cups and 1 tea. If you wanted more you had to go downstairs and pay $2.00 at the machine. The so-called "convenience store" had a freezer that was essentially empty. The next day our room was never cleaned. When we asked to have someone come and clean it we were told "they would try" and no one showed up all day. Later, I asked at the desk if someone could just deliver a few towels and some coffee as it hadn't been touched. Nothing happened. Parts of the hotel have a very strong musty odor. It is prevalent in the lobby and it was so bad in the open closet area in the room that our clothes smelled when we got home. Very sad about this-it was really a lovely place. .

Love this gem! Old world elegance with modern amenities. Room was great with view of golf course and Atlantic City in distance. Most comfortable bed I ever slept in! Husband had a great day of golf while I had a great day of shopping! Grounds are beautiful including both pools, bar, restaurant and fire pit. Only tip is if you have breathing problems splurge on valet parking and get a room closer to elevator.

When thinking of Atlantic City you think of the bustle the craziness and chaos. We stayed at this hotel as my kids had a soccer tournament in AC and we didn't feel the casino atmosphere would be appropriate for the kids, especially during the weekend. This hotel was recommended to us and it was perfect for what we needed. It was a very old hotel built a long time ago but did not feel old at all, it managed to keep the historical aspects while modernizing as well. It was not far at all from where our tournament was and was an easy drive over. Very large indoor pool, a classic "playroom" equipped with 2 pool tables, ping pong, and a few other things. A very dated thing but I thought was super cool. The room was perfect for us, very clean, although a bit humid that I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the humidity in the room, even with the thermostat set lower it was humid. The restaurant inside is a bit costly but the food is good.

The only reason I can't give this hotel a full 5 score is that the parking lot is wayyy too far from the hotel's entrance, and I am not interested in spending $18 a day to valet the car. Also while most staff were friendly there were a handful of staff who just seemed to be always mad at something. There were more kids around due to the soccer tournament but the bartender would walk past some of the kids, make a face and shake her head at them. She complained to patrons at the bar that the hostess sat at our table near her bar, knowing we could hear her complain. The guys who came to take the towels in the pool accused the kids in the pool of taking something from the playroom downstairs, meanwhile, no one in the pool knew of the playroom existing. (Them accusing the kids is what made us discover the playroom).

Other than that, if I needed to stay in AC for something other than casinos/concerts, I would recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed. The hotel looked nice, but upon trying to check-in at the front desk is where all the trouble began. First, the woman at the front desk could not get our name right, no matter how much we repeated ourselves. When she finally "found us" in your system, she just said "oh, I was under a different reservation." She then asked "are you here for the wedding," to which we responded yes. She gave us a bag provided by the bride and groom. She then asked for a credit card and swiped the card and handed it back. Without being told what it was swiped for, I asked if she just charged my card for the stay or if was just for incidentals. She responded for incidentals and that our card would be charged at the conclusion of the stay. The woman then proceeded to ask us if we had an itinerary for the wedding to which we responded no. She shows us a sheet of paper with two wedding parties listed and starts telling us the itinerary for the wrong wedding. When we let her know we're actually with the other party, she just says "oh, well then I need that back" and proceeds to grab it from my hand. At this point, she starts walking us a few steps down the hall to show us where the elevator is and says "check out is tomorrow at 11:00." I quickly respond confused saying "we should be checking out on Sunday." She goes back to the computer and checks our reservation and says "yes, Sunday." As me and the other guest staying in our room begin walking away to head upstairs, we're both very frustrated and annoyed by the first experience walking into the hotel. The front desk agent was rude, and simply just didn't know what she was talking about. Upon arriving in our room, we get a call from the front desk - we assume it'll be her telling us that she put us in the wrong room (under the other wedding room block) - but it's actually her calling to say "That bag actually was yours. You can grab it from the front desk whenever you come down again." WOW! You aggressively take that back from my hands and then call 5 minutes later to not even apologize, but rather just tell me that I can pick it up next time I'm down? An apology would've been nice and sending someone up to our room to bring it to us would've been how I'd expect this type of situation to go, but again, I was let down. We had a rehearsal dinner that night, so we began to shower and get ready. One of the three towels that we're hanging in the bathroom had makeup (it looked like foundation a

Stayed here 5 nights. No cleaning service the first, third and fourth day, that is after leaving a $10 tip. No pool bar the whole time. Never did have a robe in the room though other people had them. Rooms lack counter space and a little dated. Says free parking. When we checked out we were charged $18 a day plus the tips for valet. All soda machines were empty but you could use the ice machine. Thought it had to do with covid but it was about recouping losses. You could get all the drinks you wanted at the snack stand but prices jacked up. As with other review, had to chase someone down to get anything. Won't be going back. Get more for less at lower end hotel. Can't believe they can call this a RESORT!!!!

Came here for a conference and the resort was great. Rooms seem updated since my last visit pre Covid. TVs have ability to cast so you can watch your favorite shows from your subscriptions on phone. Check in was easy and fast. Lobby bar had great service and drinks. Food was excellent as well. The gym was well equipped for the size room. The outdoor pool was clean and the jacuzzi was also. The conference event had great food and comfortable rooms. The staff were diligent about cleaning up dirty plates and ensuring food was always available. I can’t speak to golf or indoor pool but five star stay for me.

Yes, there is. Along with a room tax, occupancy tax, and gift shop tax. Sadly, enjoying a visit to hotels like this can be very "taxing."

Yes, they do have all those courts. We have stayed there numerous times over the years. Courts are located between the hotel and Marriott Fairway Villas. Enjoy!
