Things should be lovely after the renovation is completed. The staff was courteous professional and greeted you with a smile every day. Hotel is located in an area that is accessible to Many other attraction and shopping possibilities. Easy drive from major highways.

Thank you for your recent review of Seaview Hotel, A Dolce Hotel. We appreciate you comments as we re-emerge from our recent property wide renovation. Although we still have a few more things to do, the hotel is all you say about it and more. Great service. Accessible location. Lots of options both on site and in the local area. In fact, any have suggested "close to everything and yet, a world apart". Thank you again for visiting and we look forward to your return. Safe travels.

This place is currently under renovation. It should have stayed closed until renovations were complete. Although the staff was friendly and they tried to be accommodating we kept running into issues. AC was not working properly in many of the rooms. It was nearly 80 degrees in

Thank you for taking time to let us know about your recent visit to the property. I do apologize for some of the issues you experienced. In spite of the fact we are opening after a 4 month closure to renovate the property, there is no excuse for the issues you encountered. By the way, we do have bath tub/showers in our double queen guest rooms. Thank you for your "good news" section including our AMAZING bedding and mattresses and new decor. Also enjoyed your "ghost story". It's part of the charm and history of this truly unique hotel. Please come back and see us. We're getting better everyday. Until then, safe travels.

I was at this property over a year ago and liked it very much. But the hotel has changed hands and although they are in the midst of renovations, they did a "soft opening" to start making some money. NOT a good idea! While we were there, beds were being delivered, mattresses

Thank you for your comments and I do apologize your stay was not what you had expected. Our opening week was challenging but we've made great progress.since then. As you are aware, this is a 105 year old property with plenty of charm and history. Our wonderful staff is committed to restoring Seaview to its position as one of America's classic hotels and I hope you will give us the opportunity to make up for your first experience. Until then, safe travels.

Two weeks into opening after renovations when we checked in. We picked the hotel as we wanted a weekend near the golf course and the use of the swimming pool. What a great disappointment to find out that the pool was closed! The hotel could have warned about this on the website.

Thank you for taking time to write and share your experience. Opening a 105 year hotel after 4 months of being closed has its challenges but I am so sorry we were unable to deliver on your expectations. Every day the hotel gets better and better - and our indoor pool is even open now. I'm hopeful that you will one day decide to return and promise you will not be disappointed! Safe travels always.

Anna, this hotel is approximately 1 hours drive from Cape May. Well worth the drive, though! I would recommend visiting Atlantic City which is 15 minutes away to see the coast and beaches; there are casinos and also some outlet shopping in Atlantic City, too. Other nearby towns are Margate and Brigantine which also offer lovely views of the coast. I hope you enjoy your visit!

My experience is that it is the room rate, not the per person rate.

Is there a comedy club near by?
Atlantic City is only 15 minutes away.. I would presume you would find a Comedy Club there.
