Hotel Chail Palace gives travellers a chance to stay in the rooms of the Prince, princess, queen and king of Chail. Like most government owned hotels, this one too has a great location with ample area however lacks on maintenance. We stayed in the rajkumar room which was quite big in size. However only one heater was provided even during...

Visited this place after a long time. Since I think its a Heritage building so not much changes were scene. Food quality is very nice and at a reasonable price. Nice spacious rooms with scenic views, since it is located within a forest range too many monkeys are there.

We went to Chail Palace after a long time. The place is majestic and rooms are very good. The staff is also very heling and welcoming. The maintenance could be better. Further lot of art work has been taken away and it reduces the charm of the palace. We saw that the lawn is not very well maintained. All rooms...

The rooms are large and spacious as expected. We did not stay but visited it. The comfort of sitting under sun in the lawns and having tea and coffee was deprived due to monkeys. The kings dinning room is big. Staff is reasonably helpful.

The building is indeed very well maintained and gives you a glimpse into the past. The garden has some really old trees which in themselves are worth a look. The restaurant offers some mouth watering delicacies that are not to be missed. Beware of monkeys though, there are lots of them.

Stayed there for 2 nights in the Rajkumari room. However kept getting disturbed by visitors who came to the palace. There is no stopping the visitors (not the residents) who come to see the palace from going to rooms where people are staying. We were told breakfast was not included since we booked through a travel portal, however was included...

The Chail Palace is a large historic property with colonial looks. The Palace is now used as a Hotel by Himachal tourism and not maintained the way it should be. The building is awesome but the upholstery and furniture poor. Rooms are large and amazing. The Maharaja and Maharani suites have Jacuzzis. Ideal place to rest and laze around.
