Everything about this place was incredible. Really stunning location beside a quiet beach, wonderful tranquillity (Kannur town is very busy). Our hosts gave us great advice and were really genuine, lovely people. Last but certainly not least, the food was so delicious. We loved every bite and we like to consider ourselves as foodies. In summary its a great place to chill...

Pristine untouched beach, an estuary full of birds and unmatched hospitability makes this place a highpoint of our Kerala beach. The rooms are clean and spacious and the owner and two local staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food here is amazing and sevice personalized. Sreeranj catered to all our requests including a last minute...

our 6 days at KK Heritage were bliss. The location is quite beautiful and the abundance of wildlife was endlessly fascinating. The local village is a 20 minute walk and we used the bus to travel to Kannur for a day, otherwise we were happy to roam around the local area and beaches. We would have loved to have had...

We stayed at KK for three nights. The location and establishment are great: rooms are clean, spacious and come with a superb view over the palm trees and the backwaters. We paid 1500 per person per night which, in our opinion, is quite the rate in India. In return you will get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overalll the food was...

Thank you for the good review. 1) About the cleanliness. The reason is guests who stay for two of three days refuse house keeping, as their things lie strewn around. How ever we are sorry that we forgot to ask you. 2) If you felt that I was intrusive of your space then you could have just given a hint. 3) Regarding...

KK Heritage gave us very good homestay experience in thottada- Kannur. Sreeranj and his family are excellent hosts, very friendly, warm and welcoming. We were three families with small kids and the rooms offered were clean and well maintained. They have an excellent cook who can make some mouth watering home made Keralan delicacies We arrived by afternoon driving from...

The first possible hitch is actually getting there! We arrived by train in Kannur, and our tuk-tuk driver didn't know where the homestay was. Luckily we had a phone with an Indian SIM, and could phone for directions, but a German lady and her sister spent about an hour trying to locate it. The building doesn't have road access, so...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a great experience! If you like peace and quiet, go here. The house has several (basic) rooms, and a great verandah. It's located right in between the palmtrees with a great view on the small river and mangrove trees on the other side. You'll see plenty of birds (fisheagles, kingfishers, woodpeckers)...

Not liking to be misled I will begin with clearing up some details. This building is not heritage and apart from a specific holiday time when the family stay at the hotel, it is not a homestay. It is, however, very homey, the food and the cook are by far the best we encountered in Kerala. She even cooked our...

This is a great place to stay if you want some peace, quiet, nature to relax from frenetic India. Set in Palm trees, close to a quiet beach, plenty of wildlife in the lagoon. Rooms are fine. Host is fantastic - will always try to assist and sort out any issues for you. And lastly the food is wonderful, fresh...

In March we spent one week at KK Heritage Homestay. This place is perfect to relax. The homestay is located directly at the lagoon where you can see a lot of birds and is just 100 meters away from the beach. The rooms were very nice and clean. And what made our stay absolutely perfect was the great hospitality of...
