We booked the stay through the agency, when we arrived at the hotel reception we were told that we do not have access to the SPA area. (Although beforehand, before we got to the hotel, we checked the hotel's website and it says very clearly that the guests included access to the SPA in their accommodation; we also called to confirm our services.) At the reception, we were told that it was necessary let's pay 110 lei/day for 2 people...and the best...it's with a prior appointment. (Why would someone choose to pay and not have access when they want??? )
Another major problem we encountered was the lack of parking spaces (in front of the hotel there were a maximum of 13 spaces, which were of course permanently occupied, but there were 2 more parking spaces at a distance of 5-7 minutes on foot; which in cold seasons it is very disturbing and unpleasant)
On the first night of accommodation I froze (literally) from the cold. The reception said that 21gr is the maximum that can be reached (outside being a maximum of 5gr celsius); On the 2nd night, the problem was fixed (of course, due to the wave of complaints.)
The walls of the hotel are very thin, you can hear everything, the bathroom is very small and the thermal insulation in the room is of poor quality, it did not isolate sound in any way.
The prices on the restaurant's menu are exorbitant, as if made express so that you don't eat at them. (luckily I had paid at the PC agency)
Poor and standard breakfast (I stayed for 3 days, the dishes were the same)
I requested an iron and an ironing board (there is no ironing board in the hotel)
The hotel is not classified as 4* in any way (inside you can see the old building and the failed attempt to refurbish, the rooms are very small)
The only pleasant thing was the panoramic view of the room, the staff, which, although lacking empathy, was always available, and the very pleasant and relaxing resort.
I will definitely not return and I will not recommend to anyone.

Terrible experience.
Staff - annoyed by the guests and unwilling to help with anything.
Medical - the dr consultation took 5 minutes, unbelievably shallow.
Cleaning- in about 2 weeks they have not changed the sheets once.
Food - zero choices. Very poor menu. The breakfast was ridiculous.

O Experienta groaznica.
De cand intrii in hotel realizezi ca personalul este deranjat de prezenta oamenilor. Nu doresc sa ajute cu nimic, nimic nu se poate face.
Medical - doamna doctor rezolva orice programare in ~5 minute.. foarte expeditiv
De curatenie nu poate fi vorba
Mancarea - foarte limitat ca optiuni si oribila

It is very expensive for what the hotel is offering. Furniture is a mixture of old and somewhat newer pieces and the bathroom had mold. Breakfast is poor and expensive. It is not a 3star hotel. Don' t worth the money.

So this hotel is thought to be ranked three stars. Actually it is just one star.Old furniture, old curtains, terrible fridge-rooted and filthy. The parking wasn`t large enough so we had to park 500 m away and carry our luggage.I had to buy some pieces for the shower and replace them and I also bought some light bulbs.SWhat was nice was that I spend the New Years Eve there and the party at the restaurant was absolutely great. There were three rooms with three bands-different music so you could choose whatever you liked. The waiters were ver kind and well prepared for something like that and the people there were determined to have fun. There were three nights of party-one of them was a carnival on the 1st of January and the fun we had made us forget about the terrible condition of the hotel. So if you are looking for some fun-but only on the New years eve you an go there-imagine about 600 people dancing and partying together as if they were all a big family. But don`t forget to close your eyes when you enter the hotel!

I took a package yo this hotel last weekend trough Karpaten tourism agency, we pay around 500€ for 4 nights , way expensive for what the hotel offer , we where restructed to join the spa and pools area because whe should pay extra 20€ per day for 2 persons to have acces! But even on their website it was price with included pool qnd spa!!
Cold in the room, very noisy, you can hear even the tv watching news in the next room! We complain about very cold in the room but only after 2 days we had 23 degrees inside!
Very big prices at the restaurant, poor choices , no room service , how they rate it 4 stars if you don't have even room service??
All waiters are old, some, lady wich serv us forget the order 3 days in the row, poor service regarding the restaurant!
I almost didn't enjoy nothing during my stay there , very disappointed, not so many reviews on the internet about this hotel so, so people don't know too much!

I always choose to stay on the prahova valley hotels, and now i regret
That i choose Baile Olanesti for my holiday.

It has been recently refurbished but still not worth the money. Decent rooms, clean and new furniture, but still some parts of the hotel are left behind (hallways, termopan doors). Checkin takes around 15 minutes per family, so normally expect some 1h around checking time. Worst experience was with the restaurant: the hotel markets prepaid vouchers but then prices(not shown online) are ridiculously high for what they offer, pics attached. A. welcome suprise: elevators not functioning to fifth floor and we had a newborn carry.
