We are in this area for Mt Olympus and this is easily the best hotel in the area. Beautiful infinity pool, abundant sun beds and loungers at the pool, amazing sunset view...the pool area never feels crowded.

Rooms are state of the art with automatic blinds that open to the sea/mountain view as you enter. Very spacious and comfortable. Lots of TV channels. Good WiFi.

We just came from another 5 star hotel on Santorini, so it’s difficult not to compare and we found it falling short on services on some instances (e.g. slow service at dinner, staff overwhelmed at breakfast, 2 hours spa ended 15-20 mins early, hair in the bath towel, no daily refill of bottled water...). But in general the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Nice breakfast overlooking the pool with many choices. Dinner was not up to our expectation so you’re better off exploring the local area where cheaper and fresher local food can be found (provided you have a car to get around as the hotel is quite isolated).

Bartender at the nautilus beach bar was super friendly and does a great job. Small rocky beach not much sand but good for swimming as sea is calm and almost always empty.

We had a short stay and wish we could stay longer to enjoy all the facilities on offer. At times it felt like they cut back on things (largely due to covid but probably also fewer tourists than normal), but hotel is doing the best they could.

It’s been a week that we arrived in this wonderful hotel. Coming back to our room after another beautiful day, we realized that we felt at home because the people who work here live and practice philoxenia, which is « greek hospitality ».

They know you because they are genuinely interested in knowing your experience in the hotel but also in their country. They will accordingly give you advice on places to visit, wine to taste...

The hotel as such is great: premises, swimming pools, garden, room, food with a special mention
for the breakfast which is cooked on demand and diner. The beach has little stones which is no problem to swim in the Crystal blue water.

Covid-19 crisis has hit economy hard and hotels had to implement new organization. Cavo Olympo has done a wonderful job.

Thank you Cavo Olympo people to make us feel « at home » in your beautiful hôtel.

Anna & JM from Paris

First wonderful stay at Cavo Olympo and not the last! Discovered through a friend, this hotel is located in a quiet area, a good hour by taxi from the airport, on the edge of the Aegean Sea. It is an ode to sobriety and discreet luxury. The building is sober, design, spotless and refined. The welcome is perfect, in impeccable English. The rooms located on the first floor have a heavenly view of the sea. They are furnished in a contemporary way in white and beige. The bedding is of high quality. Even if the hotel is full, you will appreciate the general calm, and you will settle down to bask in the sun on sunbeds scattered in the lounge bar, along or even on an infinity pool whose horizon is none other than the sea, in a garden or on the private pebble beach below (private path). The farniente can begin... The staff will offer you a wide range of refreshments or snacks at very reasonable prices in regard of the quality and quantity. The SPA offers a wide range of treatments. Breakfast and dinner are served on a deck overlooking the pool. The buffets are of very high quality, varied and tasty. End your day with a cocktail at the bar while admiring the sunset.... I had an ideal stay for a relaxing break far from stress and strain. I can't think of a single criticism I would like to make... Everything was perfect. Thank you to the whole team, from the chambermaids to the restaurant, bar, reception and beach staff. I can't wait to come back.

The hotel is very well-architected and in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, it seems a bit neglected. The walls are chapped, the corridors haven't been vaccumed recently, and the food in the restaurant is merely good. The staff (reception, cleaning and restaurant) is very attentive, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable, but the mini-fridge only had two small water bottles as a welcome, which seems like the wrong thing for the hotel to save money on when a six-pack of large bottles costs 1€.

There's nothing BAD about it, but I expected more than "not bad" for the price. I expected "excellent", and so far it hasn't been excellent, it's been good. If you like lounging around the pool in a nice, sunny location, you will probably enjoy Cavo Olympo, but I don't think we'll be coming back or recommending it to anyone.

General expression that say "go down from the Olympus" usually means " get down to earth" ... For us, In the Cavo Olympo case, going there from the Olympus meant actually "stay high" for another couple of days .... The resorts grounds , infinity pool and private beach are absolutely fantastic.
The staff managed everything as per the strict COVID-19 regulations , yet we could have full freedom feeling combined by full trust that our health is protected.
The on site restaurant is great - serving first class Greek kitchen cuisine, with a very respectable wine list.

We visited this hotel as an extra add on to a Jules Verne trip to Macedonia. We decided we needed some relaxation time at the end of our sightseeing tour, and this was an optional extension. We very much enjoyed our time here and it exceeded expectations. It is an adult only hotels with access to a private Cove though to be fair, although this was extremely pleasant, the access was across quite a stony beach though, once in the water, it was splendid. However, they were plenty of swimming pools in the grounds of the hotel, which allowed either swimming or simply a place to cool down. There were both four poster sun beds which provided some cover from the sun as well as what appeared to be floating, sun loungers, though these were actually fixed to a wooden platform at the edge of the pool.

There are a variety of rooms available. With the benefit of hindsight we should have asked for a superior room as these can have either a private pool or a Jacuzzi built into the room. As it was as it came with our trip, our room had a view of Mount Olympus and we could also see the sea. The room was extremely comfortable with an extremely powerful and multifunctional double shower. The air-conditioning was effective and relatively quiet.

The restaurant was essentially based in the middle of a covered area in a swimming pool, though this was clearly decorative as it was extremely shallow. The service was excellent, and the choice of food was either à la carte or buffet, both of which were excellent.

My wife visited the Spa twice and reported that it was relaxing and clean with very professional therapist. There is a gym and indoor pool as well.

We are already making plans to return as this is a fascinating area and the hotel is simply superb with attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My review is not for my stay as I did not check in to this hotel although I came here with the desire to do so.
I did not like the unprofessional attitude.
I came here and showed the receptionist that I found a a room once I became a member at a lower price than the one offered by him and than he called someone and instantly my room disappeared and I only had available the one he offered and with the price he offered (higher).
The reason I was not able to finish my reservation was I had bad wifi and asked him to give us the same price.
He refused as he said he cannot offer that price and asked me to book it.
While I was trying to due to bad wifi, he had several calls and I had no availability for the price I found!
This is not ok and totally made me not want to stay in this hotel that treats guests like this.

Stayed at Cavo Olympo for four days. A beautiful setting against the sea, with the stunning backdrop of Mount Olympus. A great stop over for walking in the area. Only an hour from Thessaloniki & two hours from Meteora.
An adult only hotel, predominantly patronised by couples. A lot of the European guests were on half board, enjoying a very good buffet every evening. We chose to eat at the hotel twice. Once a la carte & once from the buffet. Both were very good & of a high quality. The breakfast buffet was also excellent.
There are some very good local restaurants but there is no easy pedestrian access to these so are easier reached by car, even though they are only a few minutes away. This was frustrating as we were hoping for a leisurely stroll along the seafront which is sadly not possible.
The rooms were large & clean, with a generous balcony looking out to sea. The hotel is small & intimate. There are plenty is sunbathing options & a well equipped gym & spa.
There were beds & a small bar on the attached beach, but this was very narrow & did not look particularly inviting on the days we visited.
The mountain view rooms have a spectacular view of the sunset over Mount Olympus, but are by a busy road. Overall, I think the sea view rooms are superior.
I would recommend this hotel for couples who want a quiet get away, or stop over for walking.

Everything was SUPER NICE!
Hotel was very clean and took necessary measures against Covid. We felt very welcome. The staff was very nice, polite & hospitable. We loved our hotel room that was very spacious even-though it was of standard category, loved the SPA, LOVED the breakfast options and also very much enjoyed our dinners in the restaurant (a la carte menu). The sea is not that great, but there is an amazing pool and two bars to choose from :)

We will definitely come back during winter time as well!

Bravo Cavo Olympo team
Thank you 🥰

A perfect location between Aegeean See and Mt Olymp (the highest mountain in Greece) inviting to calm, serenity and “dolce farniente”.
Very well organised, Cavo Olympo is offering multiple possibilities to relax : confortable deck chairs at the pool bar, floting on the infinity pool or lying on chaise longues on green grass.
But the best place, in my opinion, is the wild beach managed by Sakis.
Sakis is an artist, matching his music to your spirit and the intensity of waves. A wild beach in a luxury hotel is something unique and Sakis makes it possible and enjoyble.
The reception staff are discret but very helpful. Elena is one of the best receptionist I have ever met. Educated and very kind, she knows everything about the region and the hotel.
The restaurant in managed by very proffesional Yanis. The food is great and the wines are good.
Fenia is present elsewhere, from breakfast to the pool bar. She and her colleagues are kind and helpful.
The Spa and the fitness center are well equiped and very clean.
There are interesting sorrundings, from Mt Olymp to good tavernas but they could be reached only by car.
The spirit of neighbouring Gods from Mt Olymp is present everywhere in Cavo Olimpo!!
