Well what an amazing place. We were greeted by an amazingly friendly receptionist (hate to use that word as she was so much more than that). She showed us around the newly furnished 'March Hare' room.Everything about the room was superb, great attention to detail and high quality finish. Our evening meal was stunning, fantastic service and the food was...

We stayed a night and felt as relaxed as if we had enjoyed a week. This hotel is only a 20 minute drive from us, not somewhere we would normally spend a night. However, our foodie daughter wanted to dine and stay so 4 of us enjoyed a superb but all too short break. The decor is quirky and fun....

We booked 2 nights in the Mad Hatter room and went for the superb half board package. It was not disappointing despite the fact that rained almost continuously during our stay. This is a great 'chill out' place and we took advantage of the marvellous taster menues and fine dining they offer.

Nice restaurant. Tables not too close together. Food very good. Staff attentive and helpful. Nice affordable wine list. Rooms each have distinctive decoration and lots of interesting displays and decoration to look at in the hotel. Well stocked bar with over 20 gins!

Six of us booked for dinner and the FIRST thing to emphasise is how good all the staff are..polite,efficient and unobtrusive..the food was extremely good and the young chef has to be commended...save room for the deserts!...my only very small niggle is it is quite expensive but as the saying goes you get what you pay for!

As a reluctant 5 'blob' rater on here, It looks like I have given my coveted (Ha!) full marks here. Two nights in a very high quality, small hotel with an excellent restaurant....great and knowledgable/caring young staff .....without undue formaility thank goodness, and most welcoming proprietors. I could wax lyrical beyond this but it's not really my style, sufficient for...

We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Glazebrook House. Expectations were running high after reading previous reviews and we were definitely not disappointed. From the moment of arrival till our departure it was all perfect. We had the 8 course taster menu with the wine flight - deliciously superb and very generous, far more than just a taster!! I don't...

Our first visit and, always expecting it to be "less than the hype", we were most pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful venue lives up to and surpasses it. Reception: Excellent. Friendly, efficient and allowing us to peruse the menu in the bar while we had a drink as we were on time as regards lunch. _/ Bar: very swish-looking,...
