Was pleasantly surprised, booked a 3 night stay in a double room and when I arrived I was given a beautiful self contained apartment with nice decking outside with table and chairs so I could enjoy the sunset outdoors. It had a nice lounge and kitchen with a nice bedroom with a large comfy double bed and a nice ensuite... More

My partner and I stayed here for the Bank Holiday Weekend. We decided to come very last minute, and fortunately for us Wellfield House had had a cancellation and could accommodate us. The owners were very nice - they welcomed us in and showed us around, and then largely left us to it which is exactly what we wanted from... More

This place is beautifully picturesque with stunning views. The owner Beverley is very friendly and was immediately helpful with local attractions. We stayed in the en-suite overlooking the town on the sea front, which was beautifully clean and spacious with a very comfy bed and a luxurious bathroom. Food was excellent quality with good service. Our stay was a birthday... More

Beer was booked out for the Blues festival so we ventured in to Seaton and what a joy it was. This is one of a number of 1930's houses on the ridge overlooking Seaton with glorious sea views. Sadly the road to Beer was closed meaning a small diversion but you can walk in to Beer in 20 minutes and... More

Now that you've found Wellfield House, don't bother about looking any further. Excellent B&B. Quality well furnished rooms without irritating fancy knick-knacks that get in the way. Very clean. Top quality breakfast. The front bedrooms (top floor) in the house have large bay windows with great views out to sea. Beverley is an excellent proprietress - very helpful and friendly... More

Wellfield Lodge has been our home for almost two months. Such a cosy and complete home away from home it is. Our hosts are thoughtful yet discrete. We feel looked after yet totally private. The lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the West Country. Local beauty spots such as Beer and Lyme Regis are just minutes away... More

My wife and I stayed recently for 2 nights, Beverley was very helpful and friendly, she even pre-booked a taxi for us, for an evening out. Wellfield House is set back from the sea front, on a very quite lane, but only takes 2 minutes in the car, we were booked into room 1 at the front of the house,... More

My partner and I stayed at Wellfield House for 2 nights very recently (March 2014) and would thoroughly recommend. Despite a very late arrival time (we were travelling in the evening from the Lake District), we were warmly greeted by Beverley the owner, and made to feel at home. Our room, including the ensure bathroom, was so fresh, clean and... More
