Just a lovely comfortable and welcoming place to either spend a few hours or as we have stay for a few days. Neil, Jeff, and all the staff are brilliant. Very helpful and can't do enough to make you feel at home.

I stayed at suddaby's recently and would go back.. staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms basic but spotless.. bedding, towels changed, room cleaned and extra milk daily so for the price I paid couldn't complain. Meant to take pics but unfortunately forgot but I would recommend only down fall was the room was quite cold even with the heating...

Really great service, nice cozy rooms, good breakfast. The owners couldn't do enough for me and were some of the kindest people I have ever met. Really nice, community oriented pub as well. Interesting wine and beer shop attatched. Highly recommended.

A surprising converted annex that houses quaint little hideaways, full of charm and comfort. A lot of thought has been put into the design and there's elements of old and new. The staff are all lovely; warm and welcoming and I was greeted by my first name, which I really liked. My night's sleep was so peaceful and breakfast was...

Was really looking forward to the beer festival but i have to say the quality of the beers i sampled was not very good. There was a big selection and i tried 5 different ones but the quality was not what i expected, or have tasted at other festivals. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and organised,...

Fantastic hotel, the room was lovely with tea and coffee facilities, we had a joining room for our daughter, she loved it. our room was separate to the pub so was nice and quite later on. good value and friendly pub. enjoyed our stay

Met up with friends here in the pub and had a few beers. It is a lovely, friendly pub serving some good ales and ciders. The staff are friendly and polite and the bar area is kept clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this place.

The pub has a British legion feel but the staff and locals were friendly and the beers were good. We had fun in there! We ate at The New Malton which I can thoroughly recommend for veggies and meat eaters alike. Sadly the accommodation was very tired and the room smelt musty so I wasn't looking forward to going back...

As part of our walking trip from Leeds to Scarborough we stayed here two nights. We were made very welcome and had a very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast each morning. We even had our washing done for us as there was a problem with the hot water - we did feel this was an unexpected extra perk. The...

Suddaby's was a good place to stay for one night. The room we had was out the back of the courtyard and was in fact a two-room family room with one room with double bed and the other room with twin beds, although we had only booked a double. The bathroom was a little on the small side and the...
