My friends and I loved our stay at the Lamb Inn. Guy and Jan are super friendly and helpful even going so far to drive us around the town to show us the best pubs and restaurants to try in Congleton. The rooms were lovely, the accomodation great and the breakfast very tasty. Would definetly stay again. Thanks!

We initially stayed for three nights in June 2016 and were so impressed we returned later for a further 4 nights before returning to our home in South Africa. The rooms are basic but spotless and well cared for with lots of little extras. The breakfast is delicious and 'full English' is beautifully cooked. The hosts Guy and Jan are... More

I stayed here for 2 nights as it is close to the Somerford Park equestrian facility. Located in a quiet side street, it was the perfect base for commuting the 3 mile journey each day. Nothing was too much trouble for Guy, the owner and the room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was put on at... More

Work away a lot and have never felt more at home. The new owners want to update things but only because of their exceptionally high standards that is reflected in all they do. Most of us would find the facilities perfectly fine and excellent value. Just mentioned I like rice crispies and a box arrived breakfast next morning along with... More

Stayed one night on business. Could be slightly difficult to find but I drove past earlier to check it out. The landlady phoned me earlier to find out what time I was checking in as she was going out. So slight delay but not a problem. Room was nice bed comfy wifi a bonus. Shower room bit small but as... I've been coming to the Lamb for many years and find it clean and comfortable, with a "full English breakfast," served by Jo, who is very pleasant and welcoming. The location is walking distance from Congleton's town centre and market, and the bus stop is just a few steps away.

We were looking for a ground floor room with wheelchair access and stayed here for 2 nights, easy to access the room which was spacious and in fact 2 rooms linked. Bathroom large enough for a wheelchair although shower had a high step in so that wasn't used.liked having a small fridge and microwave in the room as well as... More

We stayed here on Saturday night taking the "family" room for me, my wife and our two toddlers. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the atmosphere was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and more than I could eat. The couple who own the place are both quite friendly and accommodating. It was our pleasure to stay here. We stayed in... More

I have stayed at the Lamb Inn on two occasions and will be staying there for several more visits to Congleton. This place is lovely! The owner is a really nice lady who always makes me feel really welcome and goes out of her way to help (she always gets me a taxi from the train station). Lovely breakfast and... More

I stayed for 3 nights at the Lamb Inn (13th to the 16th) Aug. The owner is one of this nicest people I have met. The room was beautiful and a lot more than I was expecting for the money I paid. It is located on a quiet street which was very nice. The breakfast was lovely and even when... More
