Thank you to Christine & David & all the staff at The Tommy for helping to to make a Big 95th Birthday Bash such an outstanding success. The Sunday Carvery and other lunches were excellent and desserts deliciious. Rhys the waiter couldn't have done more to help. Looking forward to coming back for another stay soon.

Called on Monday evening for a family meal. Staff were pleasant but not welcoming. A bit robotic. Ordered various meals. I ordered a chicken burger. The burger was fine but the chips were a mixture of hot and cold , dark and light. Very very small portion. The coleslaw was disgusting. Runny slop in a minuscule pot. Inedible. Obviously left...

Thank you for your review about Monday night please be assured all coleslaw's are kept in the fridge and pulled out as required we use low fat mayonnaise and this may make it runny all portions sizes are to spec. It was a busy time on Monday, we where rushing around to help customers, apologies if this come across as...

Very welcoming host, who allowed us to store our baggage while we went cycling for the afternoon. Our room was large, warm, clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and en-suite with a bath. Our evening meal and breakfast were delicious and portions generous. The only downside was the disco noise which carried on until quite late on the Friday night;...

Dear Col and Chris, Thank you for your great feedback from your visit to us. Apologies about the noise I will advise the artist to turn it down it was coming from the bar below from the Friday night live music act. Thank you for your feedback once again and we do hope you will return. Kind regards Christine

Stayed in the family room which was great accommodation, very clean and just perfect for our one night stay. The Thomas Arms is located very close to the beach which we strolled along after having had a very nice meal in the dining room. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for our onward journey.

The food has definitely gone downhill. The size of the dessert and the amount of custard you get is laughable. On the special board last week was strawberries and clotted cream - this was five small over ripe strawberries which was cut in half (even the green stem was still attached) and a blob of clotted cream in the middle....

Dear English lady, Apologies if you are unhappy regarding the portion sizes, our reviews dont mention anything about this, they have not changed at all all meals are served to spec sizes and are the same as always. I will check about the custard size for you and the manager on duty I dont think he would have meant it...

I can't praise the thomas arms enough for the fabulous afternoon and evening they gave 49 11yr olds leaving primary school. The manageress and staff were fantastic and so accommodating with changing times (twice! Due to limo lateness!) changing food orders and providing extras last minute and giving us the freedom to have loads of different activities going on all...

Went in for a cup of coffee, which I might add, for the price of it was disgusting. The manageress was not in a good mood that day, I don,t think, as her attitude was not very nice. Since then I have heard she is like that all the time. Does not impress me.

Bit disappointed with afternoon tea. When I originally booked it was for 3 but a friend decided to join us when we arrived I explained this only to be told that chef had only catered for 3 people and couldn't make anymore sandwiches but would put an extra scone. As we were so shocked by this we agreed. They charged...

My partner and I visited here the other day and although we hadn't booked and it was quite busy we managed to get a table. You have to order food and pay by the bar, which I don't like doing and is the only reason why I gave them four stars not five. I had the spicy bean burger and...

Went to the Thomas Arms for a works function. Paid £13.99 for a plate of lasagne and chips that was only worth about five pounds.
