This is how a chambre d'hote should be. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, Jean-Marie and Carole. The house is stylish, well furnished, bright and airy with a pool and pleasant grounds. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything you could wish for, including a lovely shower room and balcony. Quiet location and easy to find with good...

A high quality Bed & Breakfast, with beautifully maintained grounds and house. The rooms may be a little small, however they are extremely comfortable, well appointed and with a balcony. Breakfasts were sensational with homemade breads, yoghurt, conserves etc and plenty of it. An excellent place to stay to explore the wonderful Arcachon Bay and it's many restaurants. Very good choice. When keeping in mind how the place is touristy you think about how hard has to be to maintain their quality. Good everything: rooms, ambience, smiling at everymoment. A good choice to visit the region

The house & garden are so well maintained that it is almost too much ;-) They even put your clothes back in the wardrobe! The rooms are...

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay at Le clos d'Ignac as our flight to France was cancelled due to the volcanic ash cloud. But, in all our dealings with Carole and Jean Marie I found them to be absolutely professional, friendly and understanding. It would have been very easy for Carole & Jean Marie to be annoyed a the short...
