We stayed overnight for a wedding in summer. Pro's: 1. Beautiful old building surrounded by well designed gardens. Very green. 2. Food (wedding dinner and breakfast) were excellent. Con's: 1. Our room was tiny. It was a glorified single room (with what felt like a single bed) for 2 people. No room for bags. 2. Noisy - could hear other people in the hallways and in other rooms. Overall, a lovely place for a wedding, but don't stay overnight unless you find a large room!
Close to Stockholms main airport you find this historical smaller castle in a very nice country side environment. Service is absolutely great and you really feel like home. Conference rooms are spacy and you get spoilt with coffee, cakes, candy, fruit. The conference hostesses are effective and do not disturb. Hotel rooms are nice, lot of space, not extraordinary though. Pillows hard... Which is always a minus for me. Food is great, modern, top notch. Breakfast is perfect, everything that I want was there. Coffee a bit week. Really recommend Noors Slott for a conference. Well done
We were in the hotel for a conference and everything worked fine, except for the noisy floor in the conference room. The castle is not really a castle but more like a mansion located in a beautiful and quiet setting close to a lake. There is a very beautiful garden in baroque style (see the picture in the living room of the original garden). The rooms are located in two separate buildings and they are decorated in old fashioned style with a lot of fine decorative touches. The best part of the stay was the food. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch and the food was amazing - simply amazing! If you are in the neighborhood go there just for the food. We had a 4 course dinner with a very strongly flavored mushroom soup as a starter, then a local fish dish, local veal and a dessert with fried camembert and cherrys. The breakfast in the hotel is very nice and set in small dining rooms around the reception area. For lunch on day two we had a lamb steak on barley with a capsicum sauce - it was very, very delicious and tender meat. During the coffee breaks there was small cakes and sweets - everything delicious. All in all a great stay - the hotel is very well managed and the service was impressive.…
We went to a wedding here recently - amazing place, the rooms and grounds are lovely. Every meal was fantastic. As a guest nothing seemed to much trouble for the hotel staff. Lake close by is great for early morning swimming!
