This is the perfect room for a family of 4 - very bright and clean. The breakfasts were excellent - high quality and very filling. The host was very flexible and informative, without in any way overdoing the latter. I would thoroughly recommend it, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed with family in this lovely place. Very helpful and friendly host, helped us with maps and advice for trips around. We had large rooms with fantastic view of the river. Rooms and baths are very clean, everything nice and satisfying. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. Fresh fruits, varieties to choose. We could use the kitchen to store food...

An enjoyable overnight stay a week ago whilst attending a local event. Brian was very welcoming and friendly. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable indeed! I was staying on my own and was well attended during a lovely personally cooked breakfast. All in all would highly recommend The Reading Rooms.

What a fantastic B & B. Brian the owner gave us a warm and friendly welcome. His local knowledge was most welcome and informative. All the B & B's facilities were fully explained and the use of the dining room encouraged if we were to have a takeaway. The fridge could also be used to keep our wine cold! The...

We are ourselves owners of a small hotel so are always eager to see how others fare in the business. I recon Brian does exceptionally well. The B&B is in anhistoric building but has been updated in a refereshinly relaxed way. Lots of light in the room and neutral colors that Kelly Hoppen would be proud of! No clutter and...

Was recommended this B&B by friends as I was attending their wedding at Langley Castle - Brian very kindly suggested I leave my car at the castle and he'd run me up in the morning to pick it up, to save me the taxi fare. Great welcome, very comfortable room, great breakfast the next day. Really good value, would stay...
