This B and B had so many qualities; really clean and lovely smelling sheets and towels, nice toiletries, all those little things you want in a room (hair dryer, bottled water, coffee, tea and biscuits), a super comfy bed, a really quiet and restful night's sleep but what made it a cut above others was the friendliness, attentiveness and care...

For us this B&B "ticked all the boxes" as they say. The room was warm, clean and spacious. The shower room was of a generous size and the modern shower issued truly hot water. The WiFi reception was excellent. Even though the location was at the centre of the village double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The beds were...

It is one thing to visit a bed and breakfast establishment and be impressed by the service and facilities. It is quite another thing to repeatedly visit the same establishment and continue to be delighted by those standards. Such has been my experience at The Reading Rooms in the delightful Northumberland village of Haydon Bridge. I've almost lost count of...

We stayed at the Reading Rooms for one night and absolutely enjoyed it. Our room was clean and cosy and offered a great view of the river and the beautiful bridge. The pubs are close to the B&B. We got to enjoy a perfectly nice evening with some local people. We had an awsome freshly prepared breakfast in the morning....

We stayed here as we had a wedding near by. The location was idyllic and quiet. The B&B itself was located right by the beautiful bridge.. plenty of parking near by. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Exactly what we needed. Our hosts were brilliant and even took me the next morning to collect my car that I had...

The room was clean and well appointed with excellent facilities that more than met my requirements. Situated right in the middle of Haydon Bridge there are...

From the heads up call from the owner, to the breakfast and check out this was a great overnight stop. With parking outside (on street), a smattering of local amenities and a choice of eating this is well situated and very recommendable. The room was clean, modern and spacious considering its architecture. The besuited had a shower which was hot...

Spent one night at The Reading Rooms while pootling around Northumberland and Borders. Booked online, and we included a message re vegetarian breakfast. Brian rang us on the day of our stay just to make sure on arrival time and to confirm the breakfast would be ok. The room ticked all the boxes, and Brian recommended a local place or...

Recently stayed here for 2 nights. Nice place well located in the middle of this small village. Was staying for a wedding which took place on the same road which was handy. Breakfast good and good hosting skills. Would happily stay again
