Stayed here in October 2018. Townhouse was very nice and very clean. TV did not have any choice of channels, they could do with getting cable and WIFI but that didn't bother me too much as I had a couple of good books to read in the evening which was a novelty for me as I barely get time to read anything (of my own choice) at home. The pool was freezing (not the worst thing in the world!) but it did look dirty with mould around the pool tiles so I didn't bother going for a swim. The sun loungers definitely need replacing with decent ones. The place is in need of a bit of TLC and with some input, and a bit of money spent it could be fantastic. That said, the interior was very nice and the views were amazing, really nice to wake up to in the morning or to sit on the balcony with a drink in the evening. Yes it is out of the way and you definitely need a car but if you don't mind driving to get to places it's actually a nice alternative (we usually stay at places in the centre of everything or go all inclusive if we do long haul destinations). If you are accustomed to all inclusive and like your room changing daily with all amenities on your doorstep this place is definitely not for you but for a weeks' getaway late in the year it was great. The manager was nice enough and quite helpful when we needed it. I was apprehensive by other reviews prior to coming here about the location and noise from the resident cockerels but all in all it was an enjoyable holiday. Not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination but a nice place to stay nonetheless. Not really a place you'd to go to if you have young children, don't drive and/or have mobility problems, a hotel closer to Coral Bay would probably be more suitable/enjoyable.

We stayed in a superb apartment found on Home and Away and this review is merely about the location and the facilities at Club Coral View. It is in a very hilly area and whilst only a 7 or 8 minute walk from the centre of the village that walk is so undulating it makes is hard work. The village centre is busy car wise and there are not a great deal of pavements areas so having a child with a buggy would be very hard work. There are a few bars and restaurants but the majority of them are literally on the roadside side and the village itself is on a steep hill. There is a great supermarket and a lovely quaint church and some of the places to eat get great reviews. The pool at the Coral View is awful ,do not get seduced by the lovely pictures. The kiddies pool is a tiny narrow triangle at one end. The rest of the pool is deep at 1.5 m, very cold and in need of some maintenance. The mosaic tiles falling off , black mould type substance everywhere and very tired looking. The loungers are awful , big gap between the two parts. Yes there are lots of background noises like dogs barking and cockerels in the morning but to be honest they are just the sounds of normal village life, we had a woman close by us that had a terrible cough , you can’t blame the resort for that. Most of the time it is very quiet and if you have an apartment with a nice terrace then you can have a lovely relaxing time and the views are fantastic. You will need a car most definitely, we hired from Elephant Car hire who deliver and pick up , a taxi from the Club Coral View to Coral Bay was €10 one way that would really mount up over a week or more.

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit the area without staying in coral bay. Close to many of the attractions and local village. You will need a car as the local roads are very steep but the views are magnificent. We stayed in a two bedroom town house that was perfect for what we needed. The pool was clean and warm. Yes there is flaking paint on the walls around the apartment but that won’t impair your holiday!! The rooster in the morning is also a lovely sound to wake up to. Makes you feel closer to nature!! Do visit the Adonis baths whilst staying here. A bit tricky to get to but worth the journey. The water is freezing though.

Place is in middle of nowhere. Once we went all way down to coral bay and took us over 50 minutes. Very quiet even in busest times like some kind of ghost town. Closest bus stop 15 minutes away. Rare buses. Nothing around. One night went to tavern and huge cockroaches run thru road and hit my feets. Disgusting. Also swimming pool is horrible. Its very dirty, pigeons bath in that and have loats of flies. In night dogs can't stop barking and all day all you can hear are roosters. Don't reccomend to go into this place.
