This hotel is nice NOT a 5* as thy advertise some operators uk star as 4* Many things not 5* standard service is very slow especially in the bar seating areas on decking in lobby can wait for an hour. As in 5* hotels all drink table service which is great nothing worse than queuing at bar people & walking about with drinks. Hotel has a dress code which is nice at night but hotel does Not bother what people wear which is a shame. Also many of the restaurants were closed had to book tables as not all open could not book. Thy want you to eat in self service restaurant. Bedrooms need updated towel’s & dressing gowns need new as worn. Entertainment was basically none existent piano most nights in the bar. Lively bar across the road
We went at the end of season in the October half term as a family of 4 (2 small boys) Our room was lovely, slightly dated but liveable for a week. We stayed in a 5* hotel in Greece in the summer so unfortunately everything was compared to that which really was 5* But we did have a lovely holiday and I would recommend but not if you're wanting 5* There should have been 3 restaurants open the buffet, Italian and Asian. The Asian was open once and Italian not at all so I assume this was due to end of season. They had a aqua class daily which was good, and yoga or dance lessons most days The staff I wouldn't say were very friendly and certainly didn't go out of their way to help you. Especially the older generation staff. It was like they've been doing it for years and couldn't be bothered to make niceties anymore. The hotel was clean and pretty. Room was cleaned daily by a friendly cleaner. There isn't evening entertainment. Not that i would call entertainment, there was a pianist in the lobby, and they had 2 disco nights but not something every night, nor anything to write home about. Again comparing to our 5* holiday where entertainment had a full entertainment crew. There is a bar diagonally opposite 'legends' we went there one night. The food was lovely, staff were attentive, outdoor slide for children to play on and they had a singer/comedian on that evening Nor is there a kids club in the evening like you expect when you see a kids disco.... a kids disco to me is entertainers entertaining the children with dancing and dance moves. This was a tiny room with one staff, who barely spoke English with full lights on with a cd player. My children went to their 'children's disco' one night and came out and asked when the kids disco started? But their daytime children's club i couldn't fault. They had a sign in sign out service, the staff got to recognise parents to match the children, there was lots to do, I felt my boys were safe there and they enjoyed themselves. There was a bubble show one evening over dinner, it was a good job we were there at that time otherwise we would have missed it as no staff told you about it. If you want to go to the town I'd recommend paying for a taxi. Staff kept telling us to get the bus its fine and really cheap, it was the most horrendous bus ride ever, the bus took off before I seated my 3 year old and halted to a stop which sent us flying It then turned into a cattle bus where you couldn't move due to the amount of people on it. It was awful..GET A TAXI! The beach was lovely (the hotel next door has a better beach in my opinion .... and others who we spoke to on holiday agreed) but you can go that side..the water is clearer (take snorkels you can see the fish and corals) and sand is nicer. My boys enjoyed doing that and seeing the boats. We were there for 1 week and there was 4 weddings going on. They are more tucked away and one night it actually gave dinner more ambience and something nice to look out at and be nosey.... would I have wanted that if I was getting married No! But being able to watch the wedding guests party, I enjoyed over a glass of bubbles. Did we enjoy our holiday ... yes? Boys Especially being entertained with kids club in the day and the swim slide. Entertainment is poor but you make it as good as you like. We wanted a more relaxed holiday and it worked for us. If it had been our summer holiday where we wanted buzz, I would have been disappointed. The spa was good. I had a facial which was lovely, the massage I had I wouldn't recommend but the spa manager was very welcoming and friendly. There is a place you can do some art, but we never took this opportunity up. There is also a shop opposite the hotel for snacks' drinks, fruit, souvenirs. Take your own bucket and spade though... the shop wanted 11euros for a small one. Otherwise they had some good bits in the shop. I took my own almond milk due to my sons allergies which I'm glad I did as they tried to serve me gone off almond milk on the first day, and then another brand which isn't pleasant. But the chef did always go out of their way to make some fresh chicken or something for my son if there wasn't something without milk on the menu (which for a 3 year old practically anything he would eat had milk in it... although I do think they were being over cautious in marking things which had milk but didn't actually) We had a good holiday but don't expect 5* sometimes even 4!…
This is the best hotel people treat you so good I really recommend this hotel and this weiter reynan is so kind if he saw u standing he would go and grab a chair for u to sit. And the room is so clean the food was delicious every thing was just so perfect and everyone was so nice especially for people who works here.
Outstanding hotel. It's location is excellent, sitting in an idyllic cove but with access to nearby Coral Bay (bars/restaurants) and an every 10 minutes bus service to Paphos. Food was a real high point - the main restaurant had a theme each evening and numerous mains & side dishes were changed in-line with this, creating lots of variety. We also tried two of the A la Carte restaurants which were great, and brilliant to see them still open in early November. All staff were extremely friendly. If I had one area for improvement it would be the drinks selection in the bar: for such a strong hotel the choice and presentation of gin was really weak. Outstanding overall though!
After a bit of research we picked Coral Beach for a weeks sun in November. I love swimming in the sea so all other hotels nearer Paphos were eliminated due to the beach being pebbly/stony. Coral beach was in a perfect location for us. It’s 12km from Paphos and relatively quiet in comparison and yet easy to get to Paphos on the bus. A short walk away there are some shops, bars and restaurants so it’s not in the middle of nowhere. There is a sandy beach a 10 min walk away as well as the beach right next to the hotel which is mostly sandy but best going in with sea shoes if you have them. We had read slightly negative reviews of the all inclusive verses the all inclusive plus. As a mojito lover I realised that I would have to upgrade to get them or stick to vodka and coke. As it turns out when we asked they said they no longer did the plus. So I’m guessing this is because it was out of season. I wasn’t really bothered as there were other cocktails but I did mostly stick to my trusty vodka and coke. Also worth mentioning due to being out of season the beach bar and the specialty restaurants were closed. The pool bar was open and it closed on the last day of our holiday. None of this made a big difference to us. The biggest thing about this hotel was the exceptional customer service. Everyone was happy to help and super friendly, especially the lobby bar staff. Clearly if you come at the height of the summer it would be busier and they’d get less time per guest. However, they all looked happy to be there and impacted our stay positively. The quality range of food in the buffet restaurant was very good. Not the biggest selection but we never had any issues. In fact, we liked so much of it we probably ate too much!! Again the staff here were very good. The hotel is actually split over 3 blocks. The main reception, lobby bar and restaurant are in block 1 in the middle. Our junior suite was in block 2 on the right and there were other rooms in block 3. We got shown to our room and shown a short cut if going from our room to the pool/beach. This was very handy and helped us orientate ourselves straight away. Our room was a decent size with a very big balcony. It did look tired in places (e.g. the balcony furniture) but other aspects of it were better. The shower was had decent pressure and there was always hot water. We were disappointed the AC was switched off. The unit still worked but clearly not much. This was because it was out of season and on the colder side for the Cypriots. However, being British it was really hot (varied from 23c to 26c in the day) and AC at night would of been great. We ended up having the balcony door open as it was too hot. We’ve decided if we go again we’ll go Sept/Oct when it will still be on so we can stay cool. Another aspect I really liked was the hotel cats. Like other Cypriot/Greek hotels there were several well looked after cats. We made friends with a tabby who was always outside block 2, near the art centre. We got chatting to staff who told us she was 23. This was surprising as she didn’t look that old. All in all out stay was really good. We’ve never been back to a hotel again but we’d seriously consider going again. I’d highly recommend it so anyone.…
A lovely hotel with comfortable rooms that included a fridge and very reasonable contents. The food was good and there is a supermarket and bar across the road if you fancy a change. We stayed there as it was the base hotel for the Cyprus 4 Day running challenge and it felt like a real luxury break. A bit chilly in November for the outdoor pool, however the pool and grounds are beautiful and there is an indoor pool if chilly water isnt your thing!
Stayed here for a week November 2022. Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, it’s the only AI hotel that opens a fresh bottle of spirit and pours straight into your glass, none of this behind the scenes stuff, it’s strong stuff! The food quality is incredible, you don’t get a massive variety like one does in the Caribbean, but it’s the best tasting food we’ve ever had, if it was a bit warmer on the hot plates it would of been superb! CREDIT TO THE KITCHEN CHEFS. Staff awesome, the hotel is so pretty like scenes from Mama Mia!,, We didn’t know that the hotel didn’t have all the restaurants open at the time of booking, so it was Buffett all week, with one evening Al La Carte, so be aware if your booking late on in the year. The beach……we are beach people but it was the only let down, it’s stoney and you have to be carefull where you swim as big chunks of dead coral throughout. The snorkelling is ok, I saw my first octopus!, This is the first time we have flown without TUI, we used Mercury travel, apart from a late transfer taxi (they claim Mercury hadn’t booked) the whole experience was faultless and saved around £500 on this booking. I never return to hotels in the world where I go, but I would return to this one.…
We stayed at this hotel early November 2022. It was a fabulous experience, the weather was excellent around 25C most days. The Hotel is large yet very homely and welcoming. The room accommodation was large for two people in our case, and well equipped with Fridge/TV/Safe/large bed/plenty of storage/furniture/ large balcony. Fresh towels daily (Beach Towels available as needed). The Bathroom was spacious and well equipped with Toiletries etc, The room was refreshed every day. The restaurants were a mix of a main breakfast/lunch/dinner and an evening speciality dinner room. The main restaurant was superb for every meal, the food was plentiful and excellently prepared. The room itself was very spacious with both inside and outside dining accommodation. The service was Buffet except for drinks at dinner. We never tried the speciality dining room but we heard very good reports from others that used it. The service in this restaurant was waiter/waitress. At our visit the Sunbeds were plentiful and always available, the pool attendants kept everything in order and provided Beach Towels as needed. We will defiantly be back in 2023. …
Just returned from an all inclusive 7 night stay at Coral Beach hotel , it’s an amazing hotel, clean, comfortable, and attentive/ friendly staff. The food is very good, a different selection every day with meats, salads and deserts. Outside bar and pool area is clean with plenty of sun loungers for the sun worshippers (pool is quite chilly 🥶 in November). A regular bus service stops outside the hotel, it’s €1.50 per trip or €5 all day. Overall, it was an amazing holiday and the days flew by too way fast.
This is our 4th holiday at this hotel and once again we were delighted with our stay. The location is exceptional, stunning views across the bay and amazing sunsets. The food and drink were excellent and we enjoyed eating in the Calypso restaurant. But most of all it's the staff that exceed our expectations. Xenia at Reception was calm, helpful and extremely efficient when helping us with a medical matter. Tamta in the bar area was efficient and delivered excellent service with a smile. Thanks to all for making our holiday so enjoyable.
