The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort receives mixed feedback regarding its atmosphere; while the entertainment is a hit, some guests find the music loud and the decor outdated. Many visitors commend the hotel's amenities, like the well-appointed rooms offering sea vistas and diverse dining options, but opinions on value vary with some questioning the 5-star rating. The cleanliness generally earns high marks, though occasional lapses are noted.
Service is often lauded for its professionalism, yet sometimes efficiency falters. The resort's location is a highlight, boasting beach proximity and scenic views.

Detailed Reviews
I usually wait till home prior to posting reviews, to avoid any negative feelings, to be honest there is little if anything to be negative about.
The hotel boasts 3 blocks spread over a wide area. There are ample sun loungers, seating areas and plush rattan style suits to relax in all allowing for sea views. Our room was splendid, top floor with a sea view, with everything we needed, fridge that could be topped up on request with water and juices and tea and coffee facilities, the all important hair dryer and a good shower. House keeping is spot on and the room was serviced daily.
Being out of season only one restaurant out of 6 and one bar from lots, was open (we knew this) but the food was exceptional, no waiting and staff on the ball. Drinks in the bar are fine and there is a really relaxing mood, with piano playing and various entertainment offered over the period.
The spa and gym are good and worth a visit.
Nice walks locally with a well provisioned shop on site, and a small supermarket across the road.
The local buses run every 15 minutes and €5 will get you an all day travel ticket for as many journeys you want. A really nice surprise was a small bite to eat wrapped and fresh in our room on arrival as we arrived late in the evening.
The only disappointment was a rather large charge for a late check out of €68 that we have decided against, there are plenty of seats to relax and wait in.
Staff are polite very helpful and happy, every one staying we spoke to seemed happy.
I would suggest a walk around to find your bearings on your first day, as we still found new gems after a week.

We booked an all inclusive week through Tui UK Feb 29th for one week, who rate this hotel 4 stars
Our sea view room was large, immaculately presented with the best view ever.
The entertainment was low key and sophisticated, perfect if you want or need a relaxing break and enjoy classical music whether Greek or European.
The hotel is well laid out with a lovely pool and a grassy terrace overlooking the sea
The food was perfectly cooked with a good choice of restaurants.
The staff are all friendly and helpful possibly because they like to be treated with respect and acknowledged for their efforts.
The hotel is, as other reviewers say, a little tired, but this fades into insignificance given all the other positives.
As we visited quite early on in the season, not everything was up and running and ready, but this is not the hotels fault, this is something that is the responsibility of your travel agent (if you used one).
This was the perfect break for us as we were tired and needed something quiet and relaxing.
No, it's not a 5 star but then again it's not 5 star prices. Everyone has different tastes and expectations. If you like disco and karaoke, hustle and bustle this is not for you

We stayed here from the 12th September to the 26th.
Originally we were booked into the Thalassa next door but were kindly given the option to transfer to the Coral Beach for the same cost because of Covid 19 keeping the Thalassa shut.
We’d not been to the Coral Beach before so why not? We knew enough about the hotel and company to realise that it was still worth going!
For a hotel managing to operate in such difficult times it was extremely good.
About a third of the hotel was open. The open air pools. One large dining room. The bar behind reception and the pool bar. The Gym and spa facilities. Bar service was table service. Meals were buffet and good food!
It worked. There was hand sanitiser in all key locations, all staff were masked, the dining tables separated well.
I felt safe and able to enjoy my holiday. Sure there was the odd guest with bizarre views on social distancing but few and far between. The staff really were superb. Good staff make all the difference and these were extremely professional and very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. They provided a free wheelchair at short notice for one member of our group.
There were some signs that updating was ongoing, decorated rooms, new modern common toilets. All very smart.
This place would be a great holiday destination for a family in normal times. I understand the adults rooms are very nice. Lots of different bars and restaurants. The pool area was lovely with steps down to the beach.
Excellent place.

Being here in times of corona gave us some privileges you couldn’t find in normal times. With only a minimum on people in the hotel you feel like a king. Beds and the room are cleaned more then often with a special thanks to the cleaning ladies who did there job in a enthousiast and passionate way day in and out.
With all restaurants closed and centralised to one place, the buffet restaurant waiters do they outmost best to please you wherever they can. A special thanks to Alex who besides doing his job and pleased us a lot, gave us some value information about the hotel. There was however a minor thing I need to say about lunch. Why did the “all-inclusive” members had to go inside to the buffet restaurant, while non could have there lunch at the pool? This felt like an incomprehensible rule and we were certainly not happy about this. Why did we have to change clothes for lunch? while our fellow guests could have lunch in their swimming suits? The beds in the room are quit hard. So I went asking Thais from the reception to look for a solution to get a softer matras. I don't know if I have ever had seen a better rendition of the scene from little Britain (computer says “NO”) in my life than from Thais. There were no other mattresses, they were all the same ...
The same about bikes from the hotel. We had an emergency and had to go to the pharmacy and asked Thais to rent a bike for one hour. She answered in her “Little Britain style” you can onle rent it for a day...
So we had to walk and just saw the pharmacist closing the shop. a real asset to the hotel this Thais. But if you have backproblems just ask the housekeeper she will be pleased to give you a soft top. On the other side there is Valentina a real star behind the reception always smiling and trying to help the guests with plenty of enthusiasm. The hotel has 5 stars which it certainly desirves. Very good food lots of choice. A private beach a big swimming pool and magnificent saxophonist who plays all modern music at a wedding feast while we where there.
And lets end with the magnificent view on the sea.
And a last tip to the hotel : please add mojito to the cocktail list for the all inclusive members

This hotel is very well equipped and has many facilities including entertainment but if you go in the winter months do not believe what it says in the brochure. During 3 weeks stay we had the same pianist most night playing the same tunes we did have a wonderful guitarist and violinist 2 nights and once a week a cultural show at dinner.
Drinks were expensive but the buffet style food was quite good but repetitive.
The hotels is about half hour from Paphos and on a good bus route but in the winter the buses on that route finish at 6.00pm.
In the summer period I am sure that it would be much better with more entertainment.
Go in the winter you will rattle around this very large hotel like a pea in a tin can.
Room size comfort and service cannot be criticised but do not go in the winter months

As always, the positives first:
This hotel is in a great location in Coral Bay. A small town with lots of amenities, restaurants, shops etc..and not too far from Paphos.
Across from the hotel you will find a supermarket, taxi stand, bus stops etc...
The setting of the hotel is lovely, the outside, to the back nice with sea views, a small beach, pools, dive and watersports shack in the summer months.
Katherina, part of management (I think) was lovely and helpful and certainly deserves 5 stars.
The price per night is quite reasonable.
Accommodation staff was friendly and good. Came twice a day. Morning and evening.
The negatives:
The interior of the hotel is very dated, an assemble of random, ugly furniture in the hallways, tired rooms and unattractive bathrooms. No sockets near the beds, outdated furnishings, boring.
The rooms certainly do not look like the ones on the net.
The elderly reception ladies are a bit gruff and could do with some courtesy training.
Staff in the dining room was fine.
Had one dinner there, very average food from a buffet that fed the masses.
Breakfast was bad! Uninviting food, not fresh, not tasty, unattractively arranged, poor choice. No where near a 5 star.
Although breakfast was included in the price I often opted out and had a good coffee and something small to eat up the road.
On the weekend there were large teenage groups staying in the hotel who had rooms in the adult only section. They were incredibly loud.
To sum it up, if you want to stay in a 3 star this is for you. Good location. If you are expecting a 5 star with a tad of luxury, 5 star service or eating experience, go somewhere else.

It is nearly a year since we were here but thought I’d leave a review as there won’t be many from this year.
Don’t know about the five star status, it was lovely but our room was a bit dated and only had a plywood top to the dressing table- we mentioned this to reception and it took a couple of days for them to place an ill-fitting marble surface on it. Lovely views over the bay, especially the sunsets.
The actual pool area always seemed cramped and you’d have to be up around 6am to get your towel on a sun lounger (I watched them from our balcony). Fortunately there were plenty of other places to sunbathe - we usually found something down on the grass by the beach bar. Credit to the attendant, who would remove towels from loungers that hadn’t been used.
There was a wedding on most days and it was lovely to see, there were plenty of areas for them to have a reception away from the other guests.
We were all inclusive but didn’t bother with paying for the higher level as there was no need. Food was alway delicious and plentiful and the drinks available were adequate. There were lovely outdoor areas to sit and watch the sun go down.
I don’t know if I’d go back at the prices they charge, we just happened to get a really good deal through Secret Escapes.

Just looking to book my summer vacation and thought I would take the time to write a review about this wonderful hotel situated in the most unique location overlooking an amazing landscape and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. But what makes this resort different from the rest are the staff. They excel in pampering the guests and making sure your stay is unforgettable. Elpis and Pambos stick out in my mind and they epitomise what customer service should be - front and centre and no matter what the challenge they come up trumps. The food is great with a eclectic mix and themes, and whilst the hotel is big it feels like a family run business. Hotel rooms are traditional but spotlessly clean and the facilities cater for every need wether its diving, boat trips, family fun or traditional and modern entertainment they are all are on offer. In a world where we wonder what normality will look like this resorts makes the art of enjoying and relaxing look easy. A must try for any Cyprus enthusiast.

This hotel complex was opened in 1993 by Betty Boothroyd, Speaker of the House of Commons. After 27 years, athough it is all kept spotless, it is getting a little tired around the edges. However that is more than made up for by the excellent food, spacious layout, great location and most of all the friendly helpful staff. We were all inclusive, and the varied menus (a different theme each night) and attentive staff in the bar and in the dining-room meant we were more than happy to stay in the hotel each night. We had a car, but used the bus service from the door (every 10 minutes @ €1.5 each way) to visit Paphos centre. The west end of the island is delightfully undeveloped, with great views and empty beaches. Altogether a great week.

Really disappointed by the lack of care by this hotel for the safety of its guest using the beach, lack of care for the sun beds and parasols which just seems to be disposable items to them, and the lack of care for the amount of waste this hotel let wash into the sea!! I am sure their guests would be a lot happier to chill on a clean beach and swim in a clean sea, rather than the aluminium scrap metal yard that is was!!
The day after some high winds (which were forecast so management had plenty of warning to prepare and protect their kit or at least know to check the beach after!), serval guests removed at least 6 sun beds from the water and rocks so kids and other guests didn’t cut themselves on the sharp broken metal. Bits of broken and sharp parasol littered the beach/sand, rocks and shallow water where kids were jumping in!! Even when guests pulled sun beds from the water, they remained abandon by the marina for another day before staff returned them.
The food was pretty terrible too. Luckily we weren’t all inclusive and there is an amazing new restaurant along the beach which made for a perfect alternative to the hotel’s dinner options.

Response from Customer Service Department, Guest Services / Front Office at Coral Beach Hotel & Resort
Responded Nov 8, 2021
Dear DoTrySomethingNew, Thank you for your recent review on Trip Advisor. Please note that we are highly disappointed to read that you felt that there is a lack of care from behalf of the Management when it comes to the sunbeds and parasols of the beach. Kindly note that the beach is looked after on a daily basis and the parasols and umbrellas are carefully lined up before the first guests in the morning and also again after lunch. The majority of the sunbeds are in good condition and are regularly checked by the Health and Safety team and the General Manager at least twice a day. Indeed some sunbeds were washed into the sea recently due to bad, unexpected weather conditions, however the team rectified the problem within 24 hours. Please note that the pool area was also affected and was prioritized to be cleaned up immediately in order to welcome the first guest of the day. Our guests are always our number one priority and we would never put at risk the safety of any of our guests under any circumstances. Also please note that the water is considered the cleanest in its area and of course we do our utmost best to ensure it stays this way. Nevertheless, we do hope you still managed to enjoy our holiday and had a great time with your family. Best Regards Coral Beach Hotel & Resort Team
