Address to remember. A more than friendly welcome. We had a very well equipped cottage with quality bedding and air conditioning
Very flexible arrival times. Hearty breakfasts with even gluten-free bread for my intolerant daughter. Very quiet less than 5 minutes from the beach and 10 from shops and restaurants.

We stayed one night in this hotel with family. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable hotel.
The outdoor swimming pool with the jacuzzi is very pleasant at the end of the day.
The hotel is recommended for a visit to Cap Corse.

We stayed there for 3 nights, during a visit to Cape Corsica. Very cozy and really welcoming place. The rooms are small but functional. Really pleasant staff, from reception to departure. In addition, super well located, only a few minutes walk from the beach.
Thank you for this short stay with you. We really enjoyed this moment.

When we booked online in March 2024, we checked off for a "mini villa" and the software seeing a request that for two nights switched to a room (so more cooking, when we had just bought fresh products), hence our surprise upon arrival 😞 No feedback on the change made without our knowledge was sent to us! So be careful at the time of your resa.
We had ants the first night up to our bed ..we asked for anti ant product found not without trouble!..a priori recurring problem...no commercial discount made!
Attention also, despite an initial information, advance payments are not cashed and the total amount is therefore to be paid on site.

We have just returned from a wonderful week on the beautiful island of Corsica. On arrival, we found the reception was closed but staff had left an apologetic message on the door, with clear instructions as to the direction of our room (which happened to be right next door to the reception anyway!) As soon as the owner returned, she made the effort to welcome us and gave us great advice about where to spend our first day.
We stayed in a simple double room complete with ensuite bathroom and balcony. This was perfect for us, the bed was very comfortable, and everywhere was sparkling clean every day thanks to the wonderful maid who we saw working hard every morning. The room was also equipped with everything we needed; wall mounted TV, hairdryer, fully working air conditioning and mini fridge. Towels and shampoo/shower gel were replaced every day.
When we weren't exploring the stunning island, we relaxed by the pool. It wasn't huge but it was big enough, the water was a good temperature and it was surrounded by sunloungers where you could soak up the scorching Corsican sun. On our last night we also made good use of the giant stone BBQ on the patio, as did a couple of families throughout the week.
The owner, her daughter and her staff were all very welcoming, and every day recommended somewhere new for us to go and asked about our previous day on the island. The nearby village of Macinaggio had a beautiful marina with boats from all over the world, and lots of bars and pizzerias where we enjoyed lovely meals.
Stella Marina was perfect for our needs and we would definitely return given the chance!

This really isn’t a 3 star hotel as claimed. It is reasonably refurbished but basic apartments. Nothing is provided by way of toiletries, washing up liquid etc. Kitchenette is just adequately equipped. Our terrace was up against a high hedge. The swimming pool is shallow and smaller than pictures might suggest.
Nearby beach is scruffy and smells of diesel from the marina.
There are some nice restaurants in walking distance and a handy SPA supermarket.

Great staff who were very friendly and helpful. Modern rooms with nicely furnished terrace. Great location not far from beach and town centre. Great pool. Use of washing machine was great too.
Our room was very compact. We would have struggled with luggage and somewhere to hang our clothes if we'd been there for longer than 3 nights.
Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here in June for one week and we truly had a wonderful experience. The accommodation is within walking distance from the boulevard with the bars, restaurants and shops. We had mini villa 11 and we believed that this one is best located. The villa indeed is mini but everything you need is there. Bathroom with good shower, little kitchenette (but for € 16,00 you have a plat du jour at the boulevard) living room and bedroom. The only small comments is the bed - it's too small 140x180) and it's like you sleep on a wooden door. Apart from that it's a lovely place and we would definitley recommend this. Did we mention the nice swimming pool?

We have recently returned from a 2 week holiday on the stunningly beautiful island of Corsica. The weather, people and restaurants were amazing and we had a great holiday overall. The apartment (mini villa) was pretty well equipped - good kitchen, air-con worked well, good shower pressure to name but a few. However, I found the villa to be 'reasonably' clean upon arrival. Smears left on mirrors, table/worktops and the shower cubile and grouting not my definition of clean at all. It needed a good cleaner to give it some 'elbow grease' as we would say.

We stayed for 2 weeks and we didn't have our apartment cleaned once. We swept it daily because ants would appear from under the fridge (okay, it's a hot summertime so you can expect ants to appear frequently) and I used the mop and bucket a couple of times as well, just to keep on top of basic hygiene. I think that the owners should at least provide a mid-stay clean - even if they charge for it! They did provide a change of clean bedding and towels after the first week, which was fine.

The exterior was a little bit tired and needed a lick of paint and varnish applied to the woodwork. The pool was pleasant and there were plenty of loungers. Again, if they had refreshed the paint work, it would have looked much better.

They had a great bbq area which we used a couple of times. The butcher counter in the local Spar shop offered fantastic quality meat.

We tried many restaurants and can honestly say they were all extremely good. Many do set two or three course menus for upwards of about 15/20 Euro, which were of a very high standard. You will not be disappointed with the food over there! :)

The people of Corsica are very lovely - all very friendly. Our French isn't the best, but between us we managed well.

There is a lovely boat trip you can take. We took the 'rainbow' coloured boat to Barcaggio! Stunning little village - worth a trip if you can! We also went inland to a tortoise sanctuary - very sweet! Bastia is a must! Go and visit it or stay overnight. We did try to book a hotel for a couple of nights there, but sadly everything was booked out! Probably due to being the height of summer! St Florent is also well worth a trip, but be warned, the western side to Cap Course has some very tricky roads! Better if you are travelling clockwise, as you'll be on the inside!

The location of Macinaggio is stunning and very dramatic. You have to negoitate the beautiful coastline to get there. Our son suffers with dreadful car sickness and I can assure you that the way back down the Bastia seems worse than the climb up. You also need to generally get in to Bastia to get anywhere else, e.g. Calvi or St Florent, so you had to brace yourself for a good hour of a slow roller coaster ride before you could hook on to a main road. Of course, none of this is any bearing to the accommodation, but it's something to think about before you book this hotel.

I would go back to Corsica in a heartbeat, but I couldn't travel on the Cap Course road again - sorry!
