About: Self catering holiday apartments with spectacular sea views & swimming pool located in the Ionian Sea on the island of Kefalonia, Greece. Just a 5 minute walk to town centre and 90m away from closest beach which is easily accessible down a short pathway. Mission: To provide comfortable holiday accomodation in a relaxed and homely environment & providing an excellent & consistant service. Porto Fiscardo & Zavalata apartments is nestled among a lush forest of Cypress trees and boasts the most spectacular views over the bay of Fiscardo which is an enchanting fishing village in venetian style architecture, painted in cool pastel colours with splashes of brightly colored bougainvillea. A variety of Cafes, bars, traditional tavernas and souvenir shops lie along the waterfront which is home to local fishing boats and visiting yachts. The calm crystal clear water makes it ideal for snorkelling and diving. Resort facilities include swimming pool, free parking and wifi access.

Absolutely perfect apartment complex a 5 mins pleasant walk from the centre of fiskardo. The pool area was great, with a little bar offering food during the day as well as happy hour. The view from the apartment was incredible and everything was spotlessly clean. What made our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts, thankyou Maria. We will definitely be back.

Wow, what a trip! We visited as a family for two weeks and brought our 10 month old daughter with us. Maria and her team thought of every detail, supplying us with a cot, towels, bath & toys for our little one. The town itself is fantastic and perfect place for us to go and eat every night! We can’t thank Maria, Yanis and his wife for their hospitality. We will 100% return.

1st visit to these apartments, and echo all the other reviews, a great holiday residence. Lovely setting, being able to see the boats coming and going from terrace, and even from bed, through the French windows (appt. No.5) Great views, from hillside, (60+ steps up from road or gentle walk up slope), peaceful location with easy walk into port for restaurants, cafes and bars. Would love to come back when the town is quieter, as it seemed far more hectic (Sept 22) than we were expecting. A beautiful port but felt over-run when the day trippers arrived en-masse. Maria speaks great English, and was very welcoming. We had a great stay.

We have enjoyed many holidays staying in the Zavalata apartments. The apartments have the most spectacular views and are on the waterfront. Maria and her staff are like a second family - nothing is too much trouble for them, they are so helpful. Looking forward to returning again next year.

The only negative was having to leave. Beautiful place overlooking the bay of Fiskardo hosted superbly by the lovely Maria and Co. Nothing too much trouble and the amenities and rooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped. Max 5 min walk into Fiscardo where there is an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants. Highly highly recommend staying here.

Most beautiful place to stay, we loved fiskardo the most on the whole island. From start to finish Maria was constantly in touch to offer any help at all re booking trips, car hire, restaurants. It was lovely. Small bar by the pool offering lovely cold drinks. Pools nice and very clean. Rooms are lovely bar mosquitos!!!! There are tons!!!! That's the only downside. You can wander to the most beautiful bay opposite and all bars, restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Fiscardo is so lovely, we wished we stayed at Porto fiskardo all holiday!

As a family we first visited the island seven years ago and have never looked back. We were disappointed when covid hit and we were unable to visit. After two years we are back! Staying at Porto Fiscardo is our third time , the apartment has everything you need it’s clean, tidy and best of all has outstanding and very impressive views. The pool has the best sun beds to relax on and you are provided with pool towels. If you don’t feel like eating in your apartment the pool bar offers a varied menu from wraps, toasties (which were a big hit with us) salads and much more. From the airport we have always hired a car as we sometimes like to explore the island, but if you want nothing more than to relax by the pool you can grab a taxi from the airport which will cost around €80-85 each way. The beach just a stones throw away and offers paddle boarding, which our two girls loved. The bars, restaurants and shops are just a few minutes walk away where you can enjoy a cocktail or two or dinner overlooking the bustling harbour watching the small fishing boats and private yachts coming in and out or basically watching the world go by. Maria and team offer an outstanding and a personal service and nothing is never too much trouble. We are made to feel welcome every time we return and it’s like a home from home. Our family love these apartments and Fiscardo and we are already looking forward to our next visit. I am definitely missing Maria’s great cocktails around the pool, raspberry mojito and Pina colada are two of my favourites. 😋…
