The Apollon is in a fantastic location in the centre of the small bay just a few yards from the beach. The view from the balconies of the hotel bedrooms is beautiful. Both attached photographs were taken from the balcony of the room in which...More
Lovely little hotel with bar & restaurant overlooking the sea. Literally yards from the beach and close to everything. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast, and a large Mythos only 2.80 euros. What's not to like?
I would HIGHLY recommend this one. You won't be disappointed.
In reality, all you want from a hotel is cleanliness, efficiency and a bit of attention to detail.

The transfer is around 30 to 40 minutes if it’s direct. A taxi costs around 40 euros but is worth it. There are many restaurants and tavernas in paleokastritsa and the Apollon is at the furthest end of the resort, so expect to walk to them. However they are not far and there is a good selection to choose from.
The beaches are sand but there are stones and rocks when you go in the water. You can buy swimming slip on shoes from the local stalls or shops ranging from about 6 euros. It’s worth getting these as there are quiet a few Black Sea urchins!
Hope this helps
